Abstract
Description
本出願は、2016年4月14日出願の米国仮特許出願第62/322,616号及び2016年7月18日出願の米国仮特許出願第62/363,574号の利益を主張する。
本発明は、水システムにおける金属部品の腐食又は白さび(white rust)を抑制するための処理用組成物及び処理方法に関する。本発明は、低いLSI(ランゲリア飽和指数)の水システム、例えば開放型再循環システム、閉ループ冷却又は加熱システム、及びボイラーに見られる腐食性環境で特に有用である。
Claims (43)
- 水システムを処理して、前記水システム中での亜鉛メッキ鋼部品上の白さびの発生を抑制する方法であって、
アミノ酸ベースのポリマー、
ヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸若しくはその水溶性塩、又は
アミノ酸ベースのポリマー及びヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸若しくはその水溶性塩の両方を、
有効量で前記水システム中の水に加える工程を含む方法。 - 前記有効量は、前記水システム中の水の量に加えられた場合に、少なくとも3ppmの活性濃度のアミノ酸ベースのポリマー、少なくとも3ppmのヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸、又はそれら両方を、前記水システム中に与える量である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記有効量は、前記水システム中の水の量に加えられた場合に、3ppm~50ppmの活性濃度のアミノ酸ベースのポリマー、3ppm~50ppmの活性濃度のヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸、又はそれら両方を与える量である、請求項2に記載の方法。
- ヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸以外のホスホン酸を、有効量で前記水システム中の水に加える工程を更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- アミノ酸ベースのポリマー及びヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸の両方が加えられ、
前記有効量は、前記水システム中の水の量に加えられた場合に、前記水システム中で少なくとも9ppmである、アミノ酸ベースのポリマー、ヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸、及び他のホスホン酸の結合活性濃度を与える量である、請求項4に記載の方法。 - アミノ酸ベースのポリマー及びヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸の両方が加えられ、
前記有効量は、前記水システム中の水の量に加えられた場合に、前記水システム中で少なくとも6ppmである、アミノ酸ベースのポリマー及びヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸の組み合わされた活性濃度を与える量である、請求項1に記載の方法。 - アミノ酸ベースのポリマーは、ポリアスパラギン酸又はその塩である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- アミノ酸ベースのポリマー及びヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸は、前記水システムに加えられる前に、処理用組成物と組み合わされ、前記処理用組成物は、約2重量%~15重量%のアミノ酸ベースのポリマーと、約2重量%~10重量%のヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸とを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- アミノ酸ベースのポリマー、ヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸、及びトレーサが、前記水システムに加えられる前に、処理用組成物と組み合わされて、
前記水システム中での処理用組成物の量を、前記トレーサの測定に基づいて、周期的に測定する工程を更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記処理用組成物は更に、中和アミン、塩素安定化剤、スケール抑制剤、分散剤、別の腐食抑制剤、キレート化剤、及びアゾール腐食抑制剤の1又は複数を更に含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 追加の処理用組成物を必要に応じて加えて、少なくとも3ppmのアミノ酸ベースのポリマーの活性濃度と、少なくとも3ppmのヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸の活性濃度とを維持する工程を更に含み、これらの濃度は、前記水システム中の水の量に加えた場合のものである、請求項8に記載の方法。
- アミノ酸ベースのポリマー及びヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸は両方とも、別々に前記水システムに加えられる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ホスホノカルボン酸の有効量を加える工程を更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記有効量は、前記水システム中の水の量に加えられた場合に、少なくとも2ppmの濃度のホスホノカルボン酸を与える量である、請求項13に記載の方法。
- ホスホノカルボン酸は、HEDP、PBTC、又はそれら両方である、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 規制されている金属は、前記水システム中の水に加えられない、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記処理用組成物は、亜鉛又はスズを含まない、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 水システムにおける金属部品の腐食又は白さびを抑制するための組成物であって、アミノ酸ベースのポリマーと、ヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸と、第2のホスホン酸とを含む組成物。
- 第2のホスホン酸は、ホスホノカルボン酸である、請求項18に記載の組成物。
- アミノ酸ベースのポリマーは、ポリアスパラギン酸又はその塩である、請求項18に記載の組成物。
- アミノ酸ベースのポリマーは、ポリアスパラギン酸ナトリウムである、請求項20に記載の組成物。
- 規制されている金属は、前記組成物に含まれない、請求項18に記載の組成物。
- ヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸に対するアミノ酸ベースのポリマーの重量比は、90:10~10:90の範囲であり、組み合わされたアミノ酸ベースのポリマー及びヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸のホスホノカルボン酸に対する重量比は、90:10~60:40の範囲である、請求項19に記載の組成物。
- 約2重量%~15重量%のアミノ酸ベースのポリマーと、約2重量%~10重量%のヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸と、約2重量%~10重量%のホスホノカルボン酸とを含む、請求項19に記載の組成物。
- 中和アミン、塩素安定化剤、スケール抑制剤、分散剤、別の腐食抑制剤、キレート化剤、アゾール腐食抑制剤、及び蛍光色素トレーサの1又は複数を更に含む、請求項19に記載の組成物。
- 1又は複数のモノエタノールアミン、ポリカルボキシレートポリマー、カルボキシレート/スルホネート機能性コポリマー、ベンゾトリアゾール、アルキルベンゾトリアゾール(トリルトリアゾール)、及び1,3,6,8-ピレンテトラスルホン酸テトラナトリウム塩を更に含む、請求項19に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物は、前記水システム中の水の量に加えられた場合に、少なくとも3ppmの活性アミノ酸ベースのポリマーと、少なくとも3ppmの活性ヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸とを与えるのに十分な量のアミノ酸ベースのポリマー及びヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸を含む、請求項18に記載の組成物。
- 活性アミノ酸ベースのポリマーの産量は3ppm~50ppmであり、活性ヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸の産量は3ppm~50ppmである、請求項27に記載の組成物。
- 活性アミノ酸ベースのポリマーの産量は5ppm~30ppmであり、活性ヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸の産量は3ppm~20ppmである、請求項27に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物は、前記水システム中の水の量に加えられた場合に、少なくとも3ppmの活性アミノ酸ベースのポリマーと、少なくとも3ppmの活性ヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸とを与えるのに十分な量のポリアスパラギン酸又はその塩及びヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸を含む、請求項18に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物は、亜鉛又はスズを含まない、請求項18に記載の組成物。
- 水システムを処理して、前記水システム中での金属部品の腐食又は亜鉛メッキ鋼部品上の白さびの発生を抑制する方法であって、アミノ酸ベースのポリマーと、ヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸と、第2のホスホン酸とを、有効量で前記水システム中の水に加える工程を含む方法。
- 第2のホスホン酸は、ホスホノカルボン酸である、請求項32に記載の方法。
- 前記有効量は、前記水システム中の水の量に加えられた場合に、少なくとも3ppmの活性濃度のアミノ酸ベースのポリマーと、少なくとも3ppmのヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸と、少なくとも2ppmのホスホノカルボン酸とを、前記水システム中に与える量である、請求項32に記載の方法。
- 前記有効量は、前記水システム中の水の量に加えられた場合に、3ppm~50ppmの活性濃度のアミノ酸ベースのポリマーと、3ppm~50ppmの活性濃度のヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸と、2ppm~20ppmの活性濃度のホスホノカルボン酸とを与える量である、請求項34に記載の方法。
- 前記有効量は、前記水システム中の水の量に加えられた場合に、5ppm~30ppmの活性濃度のアミノ酸ベースのポリマーと、3ppm~20ppmの活性濃度のヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸と、2ppm~10ppmの活性濃度のホスホノカルボン酸とを与える量である、請求項34に記載の方法。
- アミノ酸ベースのポリマー、ヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸、及びホスホノカルボン酸の前記有効量は、前記水システム中の水の量に加えられた場合に、少なくとも9ppmである、アミノ酸ベースのポリマー、ヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸、及びホスホノカルボン酸の結合活性濃度を前記水システムに与える量である、請求項33に記載の方法。
- アミノ酸ベースのポリマーは、ポリアスパラギン酸又はその塩である、請求項32に記載の方法。
- アミノ酸ベースのポリマー、ヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸、ホスホノカルボン酸、及びトレーサが、前記水システムに加えられる前に、処理用組成物に組み合わされ
前記水システム中での処理用組成物の量を、前記トレーサの測定に基づいて、周期的に測定する工程を更に含む、請求項33に記載の方法。 - 追加の処理用組成物を必要に応じて加えて、少なくとも3ppmのアミノ酸ベースのポリマーの濃度と、少なくとも3ppmのヒドロキシホスホノ酢酸の濃度とを維持する工程を更に含み、これらの濃度は、前記水システム中の水の量に加えた場合のものである、請求項37に記載の方法。
