Abstract
Description
本出願は、2018年8月24日出願の「個人用保護換気システム(Personal Protection and Ventilation System)」なる標題の米国特許仮出願第62/722、571号に基づく優先権を主張するものである。上記出願の開示内容は、参照により本明細書中に援用される。
本発明は、手術室で医療提供者が着用するか、または、危険な物質及び液体に曝される危険がある他の環境で作業者が着用する、手術衣(サージカルガウン)、フード、ヘルメット、及び換気システムなどの保護衣類に関する。
Claims (21)
- 個人用保護換気システムであって、
使い捨て式の手術衣と、
ヘルメットと、
ファンを含むファンモジュールと、
エアチューブと、を備え、
前記手術衣は、前側パネルと、第1の袖部と、第2の袖部と、第1の後側パネルと、第2の後側パネルと、フードと、バイザーとを含み、
前記前側パネル、前記第1の袖部、前記第2の袖部、及び前記フードの少なくとも一部は、前記手術衣の外側に向いた面を画定する面を有する外側スパンボンド層と、前記手術衣の身体側に向いた面を画定する面を有するスパンボンド/メルトブローン/スパンボンド(SMS)積層体と、前記外側スパンボンド層及び前記スパンボンド/メルトブローン/スパンボンド(SMS)積層体間に配置され、液体不透過性を有し、かつASTM−1671の要件を満たす弾性フィルムと、を含み、0.03m3/分(1標準立方フィート/分(scfm))未満の空気体積流量を可能にする第1の材料から作製され、
前記第1の後側パネル及び前記第2の後側パネルは、空気通気性を有する不織布積層体を含み、0.57〜2.27m3/分(20〜80scfm)の範囲の空気体積流量を可能にする第2の材料から作製され、
前記ヘルメットは、第1の側部と、第2の側部と、前記ヘルメットの後部から前記ヘルメットの前部に向かって延びて、前記ヘルメットの前記前部に位置する空気出口を画定するエアコンジットと、前側部分及び後側部分を有するヘッドバンドとを含み、前記ヘッドバンドの前記後側部分は、前記エアチューブを支持するクレードルを有し、
前記ファンモジュールは、着用者の腰部の周りに固定され、前記ファンは、前記手術衣の前記第1の後側パネル、前記第2の後側パネル、またはその両方を通して、外部環境から空気を取り込み、

前記第1の材料の前記スパンボンド/メルトブローン/スパンボンド(SMS)積層体は、10〜60gsmの範囲の坪量を有することを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載の個人用保護換気システムであって、
前記第1の材料の前記外側スパンボンド層及び前記スパンボンド/メルトブローン/スパンボンド(SMS)積層体はそれぞれ、スリップ剤を含み、
前記スリップ剤は、エルカ酸アミド、オレイン酸アミド、ステアリン酸アミド、ベヘン酸アミド、オレイルパルミチン酸アミド、ステアリルエルカ酸アミド、エチレンビス−オレイン酸アミド、N、N´−エチレンビスステアリン酸アミド(EBS)、またはそれらの任意の組み合わせから選択され、
前記スリップ剤は、前記外側スパンボンド層に、該外側スパンボンド層の総重量に基づいて、0.1〜4重量%の範囲の量で含有され、かつ、前記スパンボンド/メルトブローン/スパンボンド(SMS)積層体に、該スパンボンド/メルトブローン/スパンボンド(SMS)積層体の総重量に基づいて、0.25〜6重量%の範囲の量で含有されることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載の個人用保護換気システムであって、

前記第2の材料は、20〜80gsmの範囲の坪量を有することを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載の個人用保護換気システムであって、
前記手術衣の前記第1の後側パネル及び前記第2の後側パネルを構成する前記第2の材料は、スリップ剤を含み、
前記スリップ剤は、エルカ酸アミド、オレイン酸アミド、ステアリン酸アミド、ベヘン酸アミド、オレイルパルミチン酸アミド、ステアリルエルカ酸アミド、エチレンビス−オレイン酸アミド、N、N´−エチレンビスステアリン酸アミド(EBS)、またはそれらの任意の組み合わせから選択され、

前記ファンを高速で動作させた場合には、前記着用者が、他人が発した言葉の90%を聞き取るためには、前記他人が30〜50デシベルの音レベルで言葉を発する必要があることを特徴とするシステム。
