Description
本出願は、2018年8月24日出願の「個人用保護換気システム(Personal Protection and Ventilation System)」なる標題の米国特許仮出願第62/722、571号に基づく優先権を主張するものである。上記出願の開示内容は、参照により本明細書中に援用される。
本発明は、手術室で医療提供者が着用するか、または、危険な物質及び液体に曝される危険がある他の環境で作業者が着用する、手術衣(サージカルガウン)、フード、ヘルメット、及び換気システムなどの保護衣類に関する。
Claims (20)
- 個人用保護換気システムであって、
使い捨て式の手術衣と、
ヘルメットと、
ファンを含むファンモジュールと、
エアチューブと、を備え、
前記手術衣は、前側パネルと、第1の袖部と、第2の袖部と、第1の後側パネルと、第2の後側パネルと、フードと、前記フードに取り付けられるバイザーとを含み、
前記前側パネル、前記第1の袖部、前記第2の袖部、及び前記フードの少なくとも一部は、前記手術衣の外側に向いた面を画定する面を有する外側スパンボンド層と、前記手術衣の身体側に向いた面を画定する面を有するスパンボンド/メルトブローン/スパンボンド(SMS)積層体と、前記外側スパンボンド層及び前記スパンボンド/メルトブローン/スパンボンド(SMS)積層体間に配置され、液体不透過性を有し、かつASTM-1671の要件を満たす弾性フィルムと、を含み、0.03m3/分(1標準立方フィート/分(scfm))未満の空気体積流量を可能にする第1の材料から作製され、
前記第1の後側パネル及び前記第2の後側パネルは、空気通気性を有する不織布積層体を含み、0.57~2.27m3/分(20~80scfm)の範囲の空気体積流量を可能にする第2の材料から作製され、
前記ヘルメットは、第1の側部と、第2の側部と、前記ヘルメットの後部から前記ヘルメットの前部に向かって延びて、前記ヘルメットの前記前部に左右に並んで配置されるように2つに分岐した空気出口を画定するエアコンジットと、前側部分及び後側部分を有するヘッドバンドとを含み、前記ヘッドバンドの前記後側部分は、前記エアチューブを支持するクレードルを有し、
前記ファンモジュールは、着用者の腰部の周りに固定され、前記ファンは、前記手術衣の前記第1の後側パネル、前記第2の後側パネル、またはその両方を通して、外部環境から空気を取り込み、
前記エアチューブは、前記ファンモジュールから取り込まれた空気を前記ヘルメットの前記エアコンジットに送達し、前記エアコンジットは、前記ヘルメットの前記前部に位置する前記2つに分岐した空気出口から前記着用者と前記バイザーとの間の空間に空気を排出して前記着用者に換気を提供することを特徴とする個人用保護換気システム。 - 請求項1に記載の個人用保護換気システムであって、
前記エアコンジットの前記2つに分岐した空気出口は、そこから排出される前記空気の流れの角度が、y軸方向すなわち垂直方向に対して、5~60°の範囲の角度αをなすように設けられることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載の個人用保護換気システムであって、
前記エアコンジット及び前記ヘッドバンドは、ポリマー、セルロース、またはそれらの組み合わせから作製されることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載の個人用保護換気システムであって、
前記フードは、その全体が前記第1の材料から作製されることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載の個人用保護換気システムであって、
前記フードは、前記手術衣の後側に設けられたシームによって互いに分離される第1の部分と、第2の部分とを含み、
前記第1の部分は、前記シームの上側に位置する部分であり、前記シームの上側に位置する前記フードの全ての部分を含み、
前記第2の部分は、前記シームの下側に位置する部分であり、
前記フードの前記第1の部分は、前記第1の材料から作製され、
前記フードの前記第2の部分は、前記第2の材料から作製されることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載の個人用保護換気システムであって、
前記手術衣の前記フードに設けられた前記バイザーは、第1の側方部と、第2の側方部とを含み、
前記バイザーは、前記第1の側方部に設けられた第1の結合タブと、前記第2の側方部に設けられた第2の結合タブとを有し、
前記ヘルメットは、前記ヘルメットの前記第1の側部において、前記ヘッドバンド上に設けられた第1の受容タブと、前記ヘルメットの前記第2の側部において、前記ヘッドバンド上に設けられた第2の受容タブとを有し、
前記第1の結合タブを前記第1の受容タブと係合させ、前記第2の結合タブを前記第2の受容タブと係合させることによって、前記手術衣の前記フードに取り付けられる前記バイザーが前記ヘルメットの前記ヘッドバンドに固定されることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載の個人用保護換気システムであって、
前記ヘッドバンドは、前記ヘッドバンドの前記前側部分と前記着用者との間に配置されたパッドを有することを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載の個人用保護換気システムであって、
前記ヘルメットは、前記第1の側部と前記第2の側部との間に延びる固定バンドをさらに含み、
前記固定バンドは、前記ヘルメットの前記第1の側部、前記ヘルメットの前記第2の側部、またはその両方に設けられた調節ストラップを有することを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載の個人用保護換気システムであって、
前記ヘルメットの前記前部に取り付けられる光源をさらに備えることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項9に記載の個人用保護換気システムであって、
前記光源は、前記ヘルメットの前記前部に設けられた支持体内に収容され、
前記支持体は、前記光源の照明領域を調節するためのレバーを有することを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載の個人用保護換気システムであって、
前記弾性フィルムは、第1のスキン層と、第2のスキン層と、前記第1のスキン層及び前記第2のスキン層間に配置されたコア層とを含み、
前記コア層は、ポリプロピレンを含み、
前記第1のスキン層及び前記第2のスキン層はそれぞれ、ポリプロピレンとポリエチレンとのコポリマーを含むことを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載の個人用保護換気システムであって、
前記第1の材料の前記弾性フィルムは、5~50gsmの範囲の坪量を有することを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項11に記載の個人用保護換気システムであって、
前記コア層は、前記コア層の総重量に基づいて、0.1~5重量%の範囲の量で含有されるフルオロケミカル添加剤を含むことを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項11に記載の個人用保護換気システムであって、
前記コア層は、前記コア層の総重量に基づいて、50~85重量%の範囲の量で含有される充填剤を含むことを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載の個人用保護換気システムであって、
前記第1の材料の前記外側スパンボンド層及び前記スパンボンド/メルトブローン/スパンボンド(SMS)積層体は、半結晶性ポリオレフィンを含み、
前記半結晶性ポリオレフィンは、プロピレンとエチレンとのコポリマーを含み、
前記エチレンは、1~20重量%の範囲の量で含有されることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載の個人用保護換気システムであって、
前記第1の材料の前記外側スパンボンド層は、5~50gsmの範囲の坪量を有し、
前記第1の材料の前記スパンボンド/メルトブローン/スパンボンド(SMS)積層体は、10~40gsmの範囲の坪量を有することを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載の個人用保護換気システムであって、
前記第1の材料の前記外側スパンボンド層及び前記スパンボンド/メルトブローン/スパンボンド(SMS)積層体はそれぞれ、スリップ剤を含み、
前記スリップ剤は、エルカ酸アミド、オレイン酸アミド、ステアリン酸アミド、ベヘン酸アミド、オレイルパルミチン酸アミド、ステアリルエルカ酸アミド、エチレンビス-オレイン酸アミド、N、N´-エチレンビスステアリン酸アミド(EBS)、またはそれらの任意の組み合わせから選択され、
前記スリップ剤は、前記外側スパンボンド層に、該外側スパンボンド層の総重量に基づいて、0.1~4重量%の範囲の量で含有され、かつ、前記スパンボンド/メルトブローン/スパンボンド(SMS)積層体に、該スパンボンド/メルトブローン/スパンボンド(SMS)積層体の総重量に基づいて、0.25~6重量%の範囲の量で含有されることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載の個人用保護換気システムであって、
前記手術衣の前記第1の後側パネル及び前記第2の後側パネルを構成する前記第2の材料は、スパンボンド/メルトブローン/スパンボンド(SMS)積層体を含むことを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項18に記載の個人用保護換気システムであって、
前記第2の材料は、20~80gsmの範囲の坪量を有することを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載の個人用保護換気システムであって、
前記手術衣の前記第1の後側パネル及び前記第2の後側パネルを構成する前記第2の材料は、スリップ剤を含み、
前記スリップ剤は、エルカ酸アミド、オレイン酸アミド、ステアリン酸アミド、ベヘン酸アミド、オレイルパルミチン酸アミド、ステアリルエルカ酸アミド、エチレンビス-オレイン酸アミド、N、N´-エチレンビスステアリン酸アミド(EBS)、またはそれらの任意の組み合わせから選択され、
