Abstract
Description
Claims (6)
- レーザー光を放出するレーザー光源と、
レーザー光を通過させながらレーザー光の大きさと形状を調節するスリットと、
前記スリットを通過したレーザー光を通過させて集束度を1次的に調節し、パネルへの画像光を通過させるチューブレンズと、
前記チューブレンズを通過したレーザー光を受光して通過させながら集束度を2次的に調節して前記パネルに照射し、前記パネルへの画像光を通過させながら前記画像光の集束度を調節する対物レンズ系と、
前記対物レンズ系を介して前記パネルを照らす照明光を放出する照明光源と、
前記チューブレンズを通過した画像光を受光して前記パネルに対する画像を取得する撮像装置と、
前記パネルを基準として前記対物レンズ系の反対側に配設されて前記パネルを照らす赤外線透過光源と、
を備えるレーザーリペア及び検査装置。 - 前記対物レンズ系の反対側には、前記赤外線透過光源とともに可視光透過光源が配備されて、前記赤外線透過光源と代替的にもしくは一緒に可視光を前記パネルの裏面側に照射する請求項1に記載のレーザーリペア及び検査装置。
- 請求項2に記載のレーザーリペア及び検査装置を用いるレーザーリペア及び検査方法であって、
前記パネルに対して表面側に前記照明光源による照明光を照射し、前記パネルの裏面側に前記可視光透過光源によって透過光を照射しながら前記パネルに対する点灯検査を行うステップと、
前記点灯検査を通じて前記撮像装置によって取得された画像を用いて前記パネルの常時的に光が通過する強制発光不良画素を確認するステップと、
前記パネルの確認済みの不良画素に対してレーザー光を照射して前記不良画素を暗点化させるステップと、
前記パネルに対して前記照明光源及び前記可視光透過光源による照射が行われない状態で前記赤外線透過光源によって赤外線を照射して前記撮像装置によって取得した画像を用いて前記不良画素に対する暗点化が正確に行われたか否かを確認するステップと、
を含むレーザーリペア及び検査方法。 - 前記ステップは、インサイチュ(in situ)方式により前記パネルの移動なしに行われることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のレーザーリペア及び検査方法。
- 前記不良画素を暗点化させるステップは、前記パネルの表面側に貼り付けられた偏光フィルムと前記対物レンズ系の焦点距離の調節を通じてレーザー光のエネルギーが前記パネルのカラーフィルター層に集中されるようにして行われることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のレーザーリペア及び検査方法。
- 請求項1又は請求項2に記載のレーザーリペア及び検査装置を用いるレーザーリペア及び検査方法であって、
前記パネルの確認済みの不良画素に対してレーザー光を照射して前記不良画素を暗点化させるステップと、
前記パネルに対して前記赤外線透過光源によって赤外線を照射して前記不良画素に対する暗点化が正確に行われたか否かを確認するステップと、
を含むレーザーリペア及び検査方法。
