Claims (15)
- ケイ素、酸化ケイ素(SiOx、0<x≦2)、及びケイ酸マグネシウムを含むケイ素酸化物複合体を含む負極活物質において、
前記ケイ酸マグネシウムは、MgSiO3を含み、
X線回折分析の際、2θ=27.5°乃至29.5°で検出されるSi(111)による回折ピークの強度Isi(111)及び2θ=30°乃至32°で検出されるMgSiO3による回折ピークの強度IMgSiO3(610)の比が0.1<IMgSiO3(610)/ISi(111)<0.5のものである、非水電解質二次電池用負極活物質。 - 前記ケイ素酸化物複合体の全重量に対して、マグネシウムが2wt%乃至30wt%である、請求項1に記載の非水電解質二次電池用負極活物質。
- 前記ケイ素酸化物複合体は、X線回折分析の際、Si(111)による回折ピークが2θ=27.5°乃至29.5°で表され、
前記回折ピークの半値幅(FWHM)から計算されたケイ素結晶子の大きさが2nm乃至100nmである、請求項1に記載の非水電解質二次電池用負極活物質。 - 前記ケイ酸マグネシウムは、Mg2SiO4をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の非水電解質二次電池用負極活物質。
- 前記ケイ素酸化物複合体は、酸素原子に対するケイ素原子数の割合(Si/O)が0.5乃至2である、請求項1に記載の非水電解質二次電池用負極活物質。
- 前記ケイ素酸化物複合体は、表面に炭素を含む被覆層をさらに含み、
前記ケイ素酸化物複合体の全100重量部当たりの前記被覆層は、2乃至20重量部である、請求項1に記載の非水電解質二次電池用負極活物質。 - 前記炭素を含む被覆層は、非晶質炭素、炭素ナノ繊維、炭素ナノチューブ、黒鉛、グラフェン、酸化グラフェン、還元された酸化グラフェンで構成された群から選択される少なくともいずれか1つ以上を含む、請求項6に記載の非水電解質二次電池用負極活物質。
- 請求項1乃至7のいずれか一項による非水電解質二次電池用負極活物質を含む負極。
- 前記負極は、黒鉛、導電性カーボンブラック、ソフトカーボン、ハードカーボン、炭素ナノ繊維、炭素ナノチューブ、グラフェン、還元された酸化グラフェン、及びグラフェンナノフレークからなる群から選択される少なくとも1つ以上を前記負極(活物質)の全重量に対して30wt%乃至95wt%の割合で含む、請求項8に記載の負極。
- 請求項9による負極を含む非水電解質リチウム二次電池。
- ケイ素粒子及び二酸化ケイ素粒子の混合物と、マグネシウムを反応器に投入する第1段階と、
前記反応器の圧力を0.000001torr乃至1torrに調節する第2段階と、
前記混合物と前記マグネシウムを600℃乃至1600℃で加熱してケイ素酸化物複合体を製造する第3段階と、
前記ケイ素酸化物複合体を冷却し、金属板に蒸着する第4段階と、
前記冷却及び金属板に蒸着したケイ素酸化物複合体を平均粒径0.5μm乃至15μmに粉砕及び粉級する第5段階とを含む、請求項1による非水電解質二次電池用負極活物質の製造方法。 - 前記ケイ素粒子は、平均粒子サイズが2μm乃至20μmであり、前記二酸化ケイ素(粒子)は、平均粒子サイズが10nm乃至300nmである、請求項11に記載の非水電解質二次電池用負極活物質の製造方法。
- 前記第5段階のケイ素酸化物複合体及び炭素源を投入し、600℃乃至1200℃で熱処理して前記ケイ素酸化物複合体の表面に炭素を含む被覆層を形成する第6段階をさらに含むものである、請求項11に記載の非水電解質二次電池用負極活物質の製造方法。
- 前記炭素源は、メタン、プロパン、ブタン、アセチレン、ベンゼン、及びトルエンで構成された群から選択される少なくともいずれかのものである、請求項13に記載の非水電解質二次電池用負極活物質の製造方法。
- 前記第6段階では、前記炭素源以外に、窒素、ヘリウム、アルゴン、炭酸ガス、水素、水蒸気からなる群から選択された少なくともいずれか1つ以上をさらに投入する、請求項13に記載の非水電解質二次電池用負極活物質の製造方法。
