Abstract
Description

第2のクライアントから捕捉され、前記ピアツーピアデジタルゲームトーナメントの第2の試合のゲーム内情報を特徴付ける第2のゲーム状態データを受信するステップであって、前記第1の試合および前記第2の試合は、別個のゲームインスタンスであり、前記第1のゲーム状態データは、前記第1の試合の間に捕捉され、デジタルビデオゲームの内部状態を表す、ステップと、
前記第1の試合における第1のプレーヤの成績の測定値と前記第2の試合における第2のプレーヤの成績の測定値とを算出することによって、所定の比較ルールを使用して、前記第1のゲーム状態データおよび前記第2のゲーム状態データを比較するステップと、
前記比較を提供するステップと
を含み、
前記受信するステップ、比較するステップ、および提供するステップのうちの少なくとも1つは、少なくとも1つのコンピューティングシステムの一部を形成する少なくとも1つのデータプロセッサによって実施される、方法。

前記所定の比較ルールは、前記第1のプレーヤの成績の測定値および前記第2のプレーヤの成績の測定値を定義する、項目1に記載の方法。
(項目3)
前記第1の試合のディスプレイの前記第1のクライアントから第1のビデオ捕捉を受信するステップと、
前記第2の試合のディスプレイの前記第2のクライアントから第2のビデオ捕捉を受信するステップと、
前記比較に基づいて、前記第1のビデオ捕捉の一部または前記第2のビデオ捕捉の一部を選択するステップと、
前記第1のビデオ捕捉の一部および前記第2のビデオ捕捉の一部のうちの少なくとも1つを少なくとも1つの視聴クライアントにストリーミングするステップと
をさらに含む、項目1に記載の方法。

周期的にかつ複数の時間点において、前記第1のゲーム状態データおよび前記第2のゲーム状態データを比較するステップをさらに含む、項目1に記載の方法。

前記第1の試合および前記第2の試合は、異なる時間に開始し、前記方法はさらに、
時間内に、前記第1のゲーム状態データを前記第2のゲーム状態データに登録するステップを含み、時間は、ゲーム時間、絶対時間、またはトーナメント時間を基準とする、

前記第1のゲーム状態データは、前記第1の試合の間の2つまたはそれを上回る時間点における1つまたはそれを上回るゲーム内データオブジェクトの値を特徴付ける、項目1に記載の方法。

前記第1のクライアントは、ゲームデータを第三者ゲームサーバから受信し、前記ゲームデータは、前記第1の試合を実施するためのものである、項目1に記載の方法。

前記第1の試合および前記第2の試合は、前記デジタルビデオゲームの別個のインスタンスである、項目1に記載の方法。

前記デジタルビデオゲームは、非同期ゲームである、項目8に記載の方法。

前記比較するステップは、イベントが生じる前記第1の試合または前記第2の試合の間の少なくとも1つの時間期間を識別するステップを含む、項目1に記載の方法。

前記第1のゲーム状態データを受信するステップは、前記第1の試合の間に生じる、項目1に記載の方法。

前記第1のゲーム状態データを受信するステップは、前記第1の試合の間に周期的に生じる、項目14に記載の方法。
(項目16)
前記第1のゲーム状態データは、瞬間スコア、所定の時間期間にわたるスコア変化、キャラクタ位置、キャラクタ健康を含む、項目1に記載の方法。
(項目17)
前記第1の試合および前記第2の試合は、共通乱数シードで開始され、共通開始条件を提供する、項目1に記載の方法。
(項目18)
前記第1のクライアントおよび前記第2のクライアントは、ネットワークを介して、第三者ゲームサーバおよび分析サーバと通信する、別個のコンピューティングシステムであって、前記第三者ゲームサーバは、前記分析サーバと別個であって、前記受信するステップ、比較するステップ、および提供するステップのうちの少なくとも1つは、前記分析サーバによって実施される、項目1に記載の方法。
(項目19)
命令を記憶する非一過性機械可読媒体を備えるコンピュータプログラム製品であって、前記命令は、1つまたはそれを上回るプログラマブルプロセッサによって実行されると、前記1つまたはそれを上回るプログラマブルプロセッサに、任意の前記項目に説明されるように動作を実施させる、コンピュータプログラム製品。

命令を記憶する機械可読媒体と、項目1−18のいずれかに説明されるように動作を実施するように構成される1つまたはそれを上回るプログラマブルプロセッサとを備える、システム。
