Description
(1)酸化型グルタチオン及び/又はシスタチオニンを有効成分とするアーバスキュラー菌根菌に対する共生促進剤。
(2)アーバスキュラー菌根菌に酸化型グルタチオン及び/又はシスタチオニンを接触させることを特徴とする共生促進方法。
(3)上記(1)の共生促進剤とアーバスキュラー菌根菌とを含む微生物資材。
(4)栽培対象の植物の根に、酸化型グルタチオン及び/又はシスタチオニンを作用させたアーバスキュラー菌根菌を共生させる植物の栽培方法。
本発明に係る共生促進剤(以下、単に「共生促進剤」と称す)は、酸化型グルタチオン及び/又はシスタチオニンを有効成分として含有する。共生促進剤は、アーバスキュラー菌根菌に作用して、アーバスキュラー菌根菌の菌糸伸長を促進する機能を有する。この共生促進剤を接触させたアーバスキュラー菌根菌は、共生促進剤を接触させないアーバスキュラー菌根菌と比較して、植物に対する感染率が有意に向上する。
共生促進剤により共生能が向上するアーバスキュラー菌根菌(arbuscularmycorrhizal fungus)は、特に限定されず、グロムス門Glomeromycotaに属する全ての菌根菌とすることができる。特に、アーバスキュラー菌根菌としては、リゾファガス(Rhizophagus)属、ギガスポラ(Giga-spora)属及びグロムス(Glomus)属に属する真菌を挙げることができる。このうち、リゾファガス(Rhizophagus)属真菌の例としては、Rhizophagus arabicus、Rhizophagus clarus、Rhizophagus custos、Rhizophagus diaphanum、Rhizophagus fasciculatus、Rhizophagus intraradices、Rhizophagus iranicus、Rhizophagus irregularis、Rhizophagus manihotis、Rhizophagus proliferus等を挙げることができる。
上述した共生促進剤とアーバスキュラー菌根菌を利用して、植物のバイオマス量を増産させる微生物資材を提供できる。この微生物資材を使用することで、栽培対象の植物に対してバイオマス増産効果を期待することができる。微生物資材は、上述した共生促進剤とアーバスキュラー菌根菌とを含んでいる。また、微生物資材は、これら共生促進剤及びアーバスキュラー菌根菌以外に、これら共生促進剤及びアーバスキュラー菌根菌の担体や、乳化剤、分散剤、消泡剤、補助剤等を含むことができる。
上述した共生促進剤を使用することで、栽培対象の植物に対してアーバスキュラー菌根菌の感染率を向上させることができ、その結果、当該植物のバイオマスを増産することができる。ここで、「共生促進剤を使用する」とは、上述した共生促進剤を土壌に供給し、当該土壌に含まれるアーバスキュラー菌根菌に対して共生促進剤を作用させる形態、上述した共生促進剤を予め作用させたアーバスキュラー菌根菌を土壌に供給する形態、上述した微生物資材を土壌に供給する形態、上述した共生促進剤とアーバスキュラー菌根菌とを土壌に供給する形態を含む意味である。
本実施例では、酸化型グルタチオン(GSSG)によるアーバスキュラー菌根菌の菌糸伸長への影響を検証した。
本実施例では、土壌に酸化型グルタチオンを添加し、双子葉植物を栽培したときのアーバスキュラー菌根菌の感染率を検証した。
本実施例では土壌に酸化型グルタチオンを添加し、単子葉植物を栽培したときのアーバスキュラー菌根菌の感染率を検証した。
本実施例では、酸化型グルタチオンに代えてシスタチオニン(cystathionine)によるアーバスキュラー菌根菌感染率への影響の検証を行った。
本比較例では、アーバスキュラー菌根菌に代えて根粒菌を使用し、酸化型グルタチオンによる根粒菌の感染に対する影響を検証した。
本比較例では、酸化型グルタチオン及びシスタチオニンに代えて還元型グルタチオン(GSH)及びグルタチオン枯渇剤フォロン(Phoron)を使用し、還元型グルタチオン(GSH)及びグルタチオン枯渇剤フォロン(Phoron)によるアーバスキュラー菌根菌の感染に対する影響を検証した。
本比較例では、酸化型グルタチオン及びシスタチオニンに代えて還元型グルタチオン(GSH)を使用し、還元型グルタチオン(GSH)によるアーバスキュラー菌根菌の菌糸伸長への影響を検証した。

- 請求項1記載の共生促進剤とアーバスキュラー菌根菌とを含む微生物資材。
- 栽培対象の植物の根に、酸化型グルタチオン及び/又はシスタチオニンを作用させたアーバスキュラー菌根菌を共生させる植物の栽培方法。
