Abstract
Description
かかる構成によれば、タイヤの、環境負荷を低減させ、且つ、タイヤ性能を向上させることができる。
以下に、本発明に係るタイヤ1で用いられる、有機繊維コード等のコードにコーティングされる接着剤組成物について説明する。本発明に係る接着剤組成物は、ポリフェノール類及びアルデヒド類を含む。タイヤ1において、カーカス14、ベルト15、又はベルト補強層16等に用いられるコードをコーティングする接着剤組成物が、特定のポリフェノール類及びアルデヒド類を含有するもので構成されることで、環境への負荷を考慮してレゾルシンを用いない場合であっても、良好な接着性を実現できる。
接着剤組成物は、樹脂成分としてポリフェノール類を含む。接着剤組成物中にポリフェノール類を含むことで、樹脂組成物の接着性を高めることができる。ここで、ポリフェノール類は、水溶性のポリフェノール類であり、レゾルシン(レゾルシノール)以外のポリフェノールであれば限定はされない。ポリフェノール類において、芳香族環の数、又は水酸基の数は、適宜選択されてもよい。
フロログルシノール:
接着剤組成物は、上述したポリフェノール類に加えて、樹脂成分としてアルデヒド類を含む。接着剤組成物中にアルデヒド類を含有することで、上述したポリフェノール類と共に高い接着性を実現できる。ここで、アルデヒド類は、特に限定はされず、要求される性能に応じて、適宜選択されてもよい。本発明では、アルデヒド類には、アルデヒド類が発生源であるアルデヒド類の誘導体も含まれる。
接着剤組成物は、上述したポリフェノール類及びアルデヒド類に加えて、イソシアネート化合物をさらに含むことが好ましい。ポリフェノール類及びアルデヒド類との相乗効果によって、接着剤組成物の接着性を大きく高めることができる。
本発明の接着剤組成物は、上述したポリフェノール類、アルデヒド類及びイソシアネート化合物に加えて、実質的にはゴムラテックスをさらに含むことができる。これによって、接着剤組成物は、ゴム部材との接着性をより高めることができる。
本発明に係るタイヤ1は、接着剤組成物がコーティングされた有機繊維コードを有している。接着剤組成物がコーティングされた有機繊維コードは、被覆ゴム等のゴム部材と接着し、ゴム−有機繊維コード複合体を形成している。得られたゴム−有機繊維コード複合体は、本発明に係る接着剤組成物を用いているため、環境への負荷が小さい。
Claims (13)
- 一対のビード部間にトロイド状に延在するカーカスと、
前記カーカスのクラウン部のタイヤ径方向外側に配置された、ベルト層と、
前記ベルト層のタイヤ径方向外側に配置された、ベルト補強層と、
を備える、タイヤであって、
前記タイヤは、ポリフェノール類及びアルデヒド類を含む接着剤組成物がコーティングされた、有機繊維コードを有し、
タイヤ赤道面を中心にタイヤ幅方向の幅が接地端間の長さの2/3のタイヤ幅方向領域をセンター領域とし、前記センター領域よりもタイヤ幅方向外側の前記接地端間のタイヤ幅方向領域をショルダー領域とするとき、
前記センター領域における前記ベルト補強層の引張弾性率は、前記ショルダー領域における前記ベルト補強層の引張弾性率に比べて小さいことを特徴とする、タイヤ。 - 前記センター領域における前記ベルト補強層の巻き付け張力は、前記ショルダー領域における前記ベルト補強層の巻き付け張力に比べて小さい、請求項1に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記センター領域における前記ベルト補強層のコードの打ち込み本数は、前記ショルダー領域における前記ベルト補強層のコードの打ち込み本数に比べて少ない、請求項1又は2に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記センター領域における前記ベルト補強層のコードの熱収縮率は、前記ショルダー領域における前記ベルト補強層のコードの熱収縮率に比べて小さい、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記ベルト補強層は、前記有機繊維コードを含む、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記ポリフェノール類は、3つ以上の水酸基を有する、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記アルデヒド類は、芳香環を有するアルデヒド類である、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記アルデヒド類は、2つ以上のアルデヒド基を有する、請求項7に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記ポリフェノール類及び前記アルデヒド類の合計含有量が、3〜30質量%である、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記接着剤組成物は、イソシアネート化合物を含む、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記イソシアネート化合物は、(ブロックド)イソシアネート基含有芳香族化合物である、請求項10に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記接着剤組成物は、ゴムラテックスを含む、請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記ゴムラテックスは、天然ゴム(NR)、ポリイソプレンゴム(IR)、スチレン−ブタジエン共重合体ゴム(SBR)、ポリブタジエンゴム(BR)、エチレン−プロピレン−ジエンゴム(EPDM)、クロロプレンゴム(CR)、ハロゲン化ブチルゴム、アクリロニリトル−ブタジエンゴム(NBR)及びビニルピリジン−スチレン−ブタジエン共重合体ゴム(Vp)からなる群より選択される少なくとも一種である、請求項12に記載のタイヤ。
