Abstract
Description
これらの性能を付与するために、以下の技術が知られている。
特許文献2には、基材樹脂シートに塗布する防曇剤として、蔗糖と、炭素数12〜22の脂肪族モノカルボン酸との部分エステル化合物、及び、炭素数14〜22の脂肪族モノカルボン酸アルカリ金属塩を含有する防曇剤が開示されている。
また、特許文献3には、非イオン性界面活性剤等からなる防曇剤(A)と、二次成形の加熱温度をT℃としたとき、(T−90)℃〜(T+20)℃の軟化点を有する親水性(メタ)アクリル系重合体(B1)を含む防曇助剤(B)とを含有する防曇層用塗工液が開示されている。そして、この塗工液は、金属化合物(D)を含有することができ、特に、多価の金属イオンの化合物(塩化マグネシウム等)が好ましいと記載されている。
本発明が解決しようとする課題は、少なくとも1面側に配された改質層において、防曇性、滑性及び帯電防止性に優れた表面改質樹脂シート及びその改質層の形成材料として好適な樹脂シート用改質剤を提供することである。また、他の課題は、このような表面改質樹脂シートを用いて容器等の成形品を製造する方法を提供することである。本明細書において、「防曇性」は、含水性又は表面に水分が付着している物品を、表面改質樹脂シートにより(改質層を物品側として)包装した状態で、例えば、5℃以下の雰囲気下に載置して放置した後、改質層の表面に残存しやすい水滴がほとんど見られず、シートを通して物品を良好に視認できる性能をいう。
本発明は、以下に示される。
本発明の樹脂シート用改質剤は、更に、親水性アクリル樹脂(B)及び有機カルボン酸塩(C)のうちの少なくとも一方を含有することが好ましい。
(m1−1)R1がメチル基であり、R2がエチレン基であり、R3及びR4がメチル基である化合物
(m1−2)R1がメチル基であり、R2がエチレン基であり、R3及びR4がエチル基である化合物
(m1−3)R1が水素原子であり、R2がエチレン基であり、R3及びR4がエチル基である化合物
上記数平均分子量は、水系GPC(ゲル浸透クロマトグラフィー)を用いて、公知の方法により測定することができる。
(B−1)上記化合物(m1−1)に由来する構造単位と、ヒドロキシエチルメタクリレートに由来する構造単位と、メチルメタクリレートに由来する構造単位とからなる共重合体
(B−2)上記化合物(m1−1)に由来する構造単位と、ヒドロキシエチルメタクリレートに由来する構造単位と、メチルメタクリレートに由来する構造単位とからなる共重合体

(B−8)メチルメタクリレートに由来する構造単位と、エチルアクリレートに由来する構造単位と、ブチルアクリレートに由来する構造単位と、アクリル酸に由来する構造単位とからなる共重合体
上記基材樹脂シートの厚さは、特に限定されない。
以下において、はじめに、液状媒体を含有する樹脂シート用改質剤(改質層形成用組成物)を製造し、その後、この改質剤を、基材樹脂シートに塗布して、表面改質樹脂シートを製造した例を示すが、本発明は、液状媒体を含有しない構成の樹脂シート用改質剤とすることができることはいうまでもない。
実施例及び比較例に用いた原料を示す。
本発明に係る成分(A)に対応する原料は以下の通りである。
(A−1)塩化ナトリウム粉末
(A−2)硫酸ナトリウム粉末
(A−3)塩化カリウム粉末
(A−4)塩化リチウム粉末
(a−1)塩化マグネシウム粉末
(a−2)硫酸マグネシウム粉末
(a−3)炭酸カルシウム粉末
本発明に係る成分(B)に対応する原料を、以下の合成例1〜8により得た。
撹拌装置及び還流装置を備える反応容器に、イソプロパノール300g、N,N−ジメチルアミノエチルメタクリレート65.9g(0.42モル)、ヒドロキシエチルメタクリレート45.1g(0.35モル)、メチルメタクリレート90.3g(0.90モル)及びアゾビスイソブチロニトリル1.2gを仕込み、これらを混合し、窒素ガス雰囲気下に、80℃で3時間かけてラジカル重合反応を行った。次に、得られた反応液に、モノクロル酢酸ナトリウム48.7g(0.42モル)と水629gとからなる水溶液を、10分かけて滴下し、その後、90℃まで昇温してイソプロパノール180gを留去した。得られた水溶液を、誘導結合プラズマ(ICP)発光分光分析装置で、塩化ナトリウムが残存しなくなるまで、イオン交換水及びアセトンを用いて精製した。次いで、水溶液中の反応生成物を分析した結果、下記の構造単位を所定の割合で含み、GPCによる数平均分子量が55000であることが分かった。以下、この親水性アクリル樹脂を、「ビニル共重合体(B−1)」という。
合成例1と同様にして、ビニル共重合体(B−2)〜(B−8)を合成した。
本発明に係る成分(C)に対応する原料は以下の通りである。
(C−1)オクタデカン酸ナトリウム粉末
(C−2)オクタデセン酸ナトリウム粉末
(C−3)ヘキサデセン酸ナトリウム粉末
(C−4)オクタデセン酸カリウム粉末
(C−5)オクタデカン酸カリウム粉末
(C−6)テトラデカン酸ナトリウム粉末
(C−7)ドコセン酸カリウム粉末
試験区分1で示した原料を用いて、基材樹脂シートに塗布するための液状の改質層形成用組成物からなる樹脂シート用改質剤を調製した(表1参照)。尚、以下の実験では、液状の改質層形成用組成物の製造原料として、ビニル共重合体(B−1)の水溶液(B−1x)を用いたが、上記のように、水溶液ではなく、液状媒体を含まない単離されたビニル共重合体のみを用いた樹脂シート用改質剤とすることも可能である。
8.0部の水と4.4部の水溶液(B−1x)と、0.8部のオクタデカン酸ナトリウム(C−1)と、0.1部の塩化ナトリウム(A−1)とを混合して、固形分15%の樹脂シート用改質剤(E−1)を調製した。この樹脂シート用改質剤(E−1)において、アルカリ金属含有無機化合物/親水性アクリル樹脂/有機カルボン酸塩の固形分比(質量比)は、5/55/40である。
表1の原料を用いて、実施例1と同様にして、改質剤(E−2)〜(E−13)及び(e−1)〜(e−6)を調製した。
試験区分2にて製造した樹脂シート用改質剤を用いて塗工液を調製し、その後、この塗工液及び基材樹脂シートを用いて、表2に示す表面改質樹脂シートを製造した。以下に使用した基材樹脂シートを示す。
(S−1)ポリエステル系樹脂シート(ポリエチレンテレフタレート樹脂未結晶タイプ)
(S−2)ポリエステル系樹脂シート(ポリエチレンテレフタレート樹脂二軸延伸タイプ)
(S−3)脂肪族エステル系樹脂シート(無延伸タイプ、コロナ処理により、JIS K 6768に準ずるぬれ張力が44mN/mであるもの)
(S−4)ポリスチレン系樹脂シート(無延伸タイプ、コロナ処理により、JIS K 6768に準ずるぬれ張力が44mN/mであるもの)
(S−5)ポリスチレン系樹脂シート(二軸延伸タイプ、コロナ処理により、JIS K 6768に準ずるぬれ張力が44mN/mであるもの)
(S−6)ポリオレフィン系樹脂シート(ポリプロピレン、無延伸タイプ、コロナ処理により、JIS K 6768に準ずるぬれ張力が44mN/mであるもの)
(S−7)ポリメタクリル酸メチルシート(無延伸タイプ、コロナ処理により、JIS K 6768に準ずるぬれ張力が44mN/mであるもの)
実施例1−1で作製した固形分15%の樹脂シート用改質剤(E−1)13.3gと、水/イソプロピルアルコール=90/10(質量比)の溶媒86.7gとを混合することで、有効濃度2%の塗工液を調製した。
その後、ポリエステル系樹脂シート(S−1)に、調製した塗工液をバーコーターにて塗布した(塗布量:5g/m2)。その後、塗膜を70℃で乾燥させて、絶乾塗布量が100mg/m2である改質層を有する表面改質樹脂シート(P−1)を作製した。
次に、得られた表面改質樹脂シート(P−1)について、改質層表面における防曇性、滑性及び帯電防止性の評価を行った。その結果を表2に併記した。
表面改質樹脂シートを、直径7cmの円形に切り取り、60℃のお湯100mlを入れた200ml容のビーカーに改質層の表面がビーカーの内側となるように被せ、5℃の冷蔵庫内に24時間放置した。その後、表面改質樹脂シートの改質層の表面における水滴の付着程度を観察し、下記の基準で防曇性を評価した。
<防曇性の評価基準>
◎:水滴の付着が無く透明であった(防曇性が優れている)
○:大きな水滴の付着があったが透明であった(防曇性が良好である)
△:水滴の付着がありやや不透明であった(防曇性が劣っている)
×:小さな水滴の付着があり不透明であった(防曇性が著しく劣り実用的でない)
JIS−K7125に準拠して改質層の表面における動摩擦係数を測定し、下記の基準で滑性を評価した。
<滑性の評価基準>
◎:動摩擦係数が0.25未満であった
○:動摩擦係数が0.25以上0.30未満であった
△:動摩擦係数が0.30以上0.35未満であった
×:動摩擦係数が0.35以上であった
表面改質樹脂シートを、温度20℃及び相対湿度65%の条件下に24時間載置して調湿した後、同条件で表面比抵抗(Ω)を測定した。測定機器は、シシド電気社製表面抵抗値測定装置(商品名:メガレスタHT−301)である。表面抵抗値から、以下の基準で帯電防止性を評価した。
<帯電防止性の評価基準>
◎:表面比抵抗が5.0×108Ω未満であった
○:表面比抵抗が5.0×108Ω以上1.0×109Ω未満であった
△:表面比抵抗が1.0×109Ω以上5.0×109Ω未満であった
×:表面比抵抗が5.0×109Ω以上であった
樹脂シート用改質剤(E−1)に代えて、樹脂シート用改質剤(E−2)〜(E−13)及び(e−1)〜(e−6)を用いた以外は、実施例2−1と同様にして、各塗工液を調製した。次に、塗工液を、表2に示す基材樹脂シートの表面に塗布し、改質層を備える表面改質樹脂シート(P−2)〜(P−13)及び(p−1)〜(p−6)を得た。
その後、実施例2−1と同様にして表面改質樹脂シートの評価を行った。その結果を表2に併記した。
試験区分3にて製造した表面改質樹脂シートを圧空成形に供し、改質層を内表面とする角錐台状の成形品(開口部:70mm×70mm、底部:60mm×60mm、深さ:30mm)を製造した。
実施例2−1で得られた表面改質樹脂シート(P−1)を圧空成形機により加工し、角錐台状の成形品を作製した。改質層の剥離等の不具合は見られず、外観性も良好であった。
表2に記載の表面改質樹脂シートを用いて、実施例3−1と同様にして、角錐台状の成形品を作製した。いずれの成形品においても、改質層の剥離等の不具合は見られず、外観性も良好であった。
本発明は、以下に示される。
上記成分(C)は、炭化水素基の炭素原子数が14〜22の脂肪族カルボン酸のナトリウム塩及びカリウム塩から選ばれた少なくとも1つの有機カルボン酸塩であり、
上記成分(A)、上記成分(B)及び上記成分(C)の含有割合が、これらの合計を100質量%とした場合に、それぞれ、0.1〜15.0質量%、35.0〜85.0質量%、及び、15.0〜60.0質量%であり、
多価金属イオンを含有しないことを特徴とする。
表1の原料を用いて、実施例1と同様にして、改質剤(E−2)〜(E−11)、(EE−1)〜(EE−2)及び(e−1)〜(e−6)を調製した。
樹脂シート用改質剤(E−1)に代えて、樹脂シート用改質剤(E−2)〜(E−11)、(EE−1)〜(EE−2)及び(e−1)〜(e−6)を用いた以外は、実施例2−1と同様にして、各塗工液を調製した。次に、塗工液を、表2に示す基材樹脂シートの表面に塗布し、改質層を備える表面改質樹脂シート(P−2)〜(P−11)、(PP−1)〜(PP−2)及び(p−1)〜(p−6)を得た。
その後、実施例2−1と同様にして表面改質樹脂シートの評価を行った。その結果を表2に併記した。
表2に記載の表面改質樹脂シートを用いて、実施例3−1と同様にして、角錐台状の成形品を作製した。いずれの成形品においても、改質層の剥離等の不具合は見られず、外観性も良好であった。
Claims (13)
- 樹脂シートの表面改質に用いられる改質剤であって、
(A)アルカリ金属元素を含む無機化合物
を含有することを特徴とする樹脂シート用改質剤。 - 前記成分(A)に含まれる前記アルカリ金属元素が、リチウム、ナトリウム及びカリウムから選ばれた少なくとも1つである請求項1に記載の樹脂シート用改質剤。
- 更に、
(B)親水性アクリル樹脂
を含有する請求項1又は2に記載の樹脂シート用改質剤。 - 前記成分(B)が、更に、下記式(2)で表される化合物に由来する構造単位、下記式(3)で表される化合物に由来する構造単位、及び、下記式(4)で表される化合物に由来する構造単位から選ばれた少なくとも一種を含む請求項4に記載の樹脂シート用改質剤。
- 前記成分(B)の数平均分子量が10000〜100000である請求項3から5のいずれか一項に記載の樹脂シート用改質剤。
- 更に、
(C)滑剤
を含有する請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の樹脂シート用改質剤。 - 前記滑剤(C)が有機カルボン酸塩を含む請求項7に記載の樹脂シート用改質剤。

- 前記成分(B)及び前記成分(C)を含有し、前記成分(A)、前記成分(B)及び前記成分(C)の含有割合が、これらの合計を100質量%とした場合に、それぞれ、0.1〜15.0質量%、35.0〜85.0質量%、及び、15.0〜60.0質量%である請求項7から9のいずれか一項に記載の樹脂シート用改質剤。
- 樹脂を含む基層と、該基層の少なくとも1面側に配された、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の樹脂シート用改質剤を含む改質層とを備えることを特徴とする表面改質樹脂シート。
- 前記基層に含まれる前記樹脂が、ポリエステル樹脂、芳香族ビニル樹脂及びオレフィン樹脂から選ばれた少なくとも一種である請求項11に記載の表面改質樹脂シート。
