Abstract
Description
本発明のポリイソシアネート(A)は、ジイソシアネートおよびその誘導体からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種のポリイソシアネート化合物である。前記ジイソシアネートとしては、例えば、1,6−ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネートなどの脂肪族ジイソシアネート;1,3−ビス(イソシアナトメチル)シクロヘキサン、イソホロンジイソシアネート、4,4’−ジシクロヘキシルメタンジイソシアネートなどの脂環式ジイソシアネート;キシリレンジイソシアネート、トリレン−2,6−ジイソシアネート、ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネートなどの芳香族ジイソシアネートなどが挙げられる。前記ジイソシアネートの誘導体としては、例えば、前記脂肪族ジイソシアネート、脂環式ジイソシアネート、および/または芳香族ジイソシアネートなどを出発原料として合成されたもので、ビュレット体、トリメチロールプロパンとのアダクト体、イソシアヌレート体、アロファネート体などの、脂肪族ジイソシアネートの誘導体、脂環式ジイソシアネートの誘導体、芳香族ジイソシアネートの誘導体などが挙げられる。前記ポリイソシアネート(A)は、単独で用いてもよく、2種以上組み合わせてもよい。
本発明のポリオール(B)は、ポリエーテルポリオール(b1)と、ポリカプロラクトンポリオール(b2)を含む。
前記ポリエーテルポリオール(b1)は、ゲル浸透クロマトグラフィーによって示差屈折率計を用いて得られたクロマトグラムにおいて、屈折率強度最大点での分子量が300〜1,800であり、溶出開始点から前記屈折率強度最大点に対応する溶出時点までのピーク面積をS1とし、前記屈折率強度最大点に対応する前記溶出時点から溶出終了点までのピーク面積をS2としたとき、ピーク面積比(S2/S1)が1.5以上2.0以下である。
前記ポリカプロラクトンポリオール(b2)は、防曇膜の強度が向上できる。前記ポリカプロラクトンポリオール(b2)は、単独で用いてもよく、2種以上組み合わせてもよい。なお、当該数平均分子量は、ポリカプロラクトンポリオール(b2)の水酸基価によって算出できる。
本発明の界面活性剤は、防曇膜の表面に付着した水分の表面張力を低下させ、防曇膜の表面に水膜を形成させることにより防曇性を向上させるための成分である。
本発明の溶媒は、防曇剤組成物の粘度や塗装性、防曇膜の平滑性の改良のため、使用するものであり、ポリイソシアネート(A)、ポリオール(B)などの成分を、溶解または分散することができるものであり、乾燥温度において揮発する有機溶媒であれば、特に制限されるものではない。
本発明の防曇剤組成物は、反応遅延剤を含有していても良い。前記反応遅延剤は、2種以上を混合して用いてもよい。
本発明の防曇剤組成物には、その他の成分として、必要に応じ、触媒、レベリング剤、酸化防止剤、紫外線吸収剤、光安定剤などの慣用の各種添加剤を配合することができる。前記その他の成分の添加量は、それぞれの添加剤につき慣用的な添加量で配合することができるが、通常、前記ポリイソシアネート(A)と前記ポリオール(B)の合計100質量部に対して、10質量部以下程度である。
本発明の防曇性物品は、前記防曇剤組成物を、通常の塗料において行われる塗装方法により基材に塗装し、加熱硬化することによって、基材表面に防曇膜が形成されたものである。
<防曇剤組成物の製造>
ポリイソシアネート(A)として、1,3−ビス(イソシアナトメチル)シクロヘキサンのトリメチロールプロパンアダクト体(商品名:タケネート D−120N、三井化学(株)社製、有効成分75質量%)を69質量部(有効成分量として52質量部)、ポリエーテルポリオール(b1)として、ポリオキシエチレングリセリルエーテル(分子量750、S2/S1=1.5)を40質量部、ポリカプロラクトンポリオール(b2)として、ポリカプロラクトントリオール(商品名:PLACCEL 308、(株)ダイセル社製、1分子あたりの水酸基数3、数平均分子量800)を8質量部、界面活性剤として、ジ−2−エチルヘキシルスルホコハク酸ナトリウム(商品名:ラピゾール A−90、日油(株)社製、有効成分90質量%)を3質量部、シリコーンオイルとして、ポリエーテル変性オルガノポリシロキサン(商品名:KF−642、信越化学工業(株)社製、HLB値=12)を0.2質量部、反応遅延剤として、酢酸を1質量部、さらに溶媒として、ジアセトンアルコールを50質量部と酢酸エチルを38質量部とを混合し、防曇剤組成物を製造した。
上記で得られた防曇剤組成物を、ポリカーボネート基材(5cm×5cm×1mm、商品名:ユーピロンシートNF−2000、MGCフィルシート(株)社製)にバーコーターを用いて塗布した。そして、ポリカーボネート基材を、100℃で30分間保持することによって乾燥することにより、ポリカーボネート基材上に、厚さが約10μmの防曇膜を有する防曇性物品(試験片)を作製した。
ヘイズメーター(日本電色工業株式会社製NDH5000)によって、防曇膜を有する防曇性物品(試験片)のヘイズ(%)測定によって判定した。判定基準は以下のとおりである。
◎:基材とのヘイズの値の差が1未満
〇:基材とのヘイズの値の差が1以上3未満
×:基材とのヘイズの値の差が3以上
試験片を30℃、60%RH下の環境にて24時間以上静置したのち、防曇膜表面のべたつきを指触によって判定した。判定基準は以下のとおりである。
◎:べたつきが見られない
〇:べたつきがわずかにみられる
×:明らかにべたつきがみられる
温度が50℃の恒温水槽上の水面から1cmの位置に、防曇膜面が下になるように上記で得られた試験片を固定し、曇りの状態を目視によって判定した。判定基準は以下のとおりである。
○:試験片を固定後、5分以上曇りが生じない
×:試験片を固定後、すぐに曇りが生じる
<防曇剤組成物の製造、および防曇性物品の作製>
各実施例および比較例において、各原料の種類とその配合量を表1に示すように変えたこと以外は、実施例1と同様の方法により、防曇剤組成物を製造し、さらにポリカーボネート基材上に防曇膜を有する防曇性物品(試験片)を作製した。
タケネート D−140Nは、イソホロンジイソシアネートのトリメチロールプロパンアダクト体(商品名:タケネート D−140N、三井化学(株)社製、有効成分75質量%);
PLACCEL 308は、ポリカプロラクトントリオール(商品名:PLACCEL 308、(株)ダイセル社製、1分子あたりの水酸基数3、数平均分子量800);
PLACCEL 312は、ポリカプロラクトントリオール(商品名:PLACCEL 312、(株)ダイセル社製、1分子あたりの水酸基数3、数平均分子量1250);
ユニオックス G750は、ポリオキシエチレングリセリルエーテル(商品名:ユニオックス G750、日油(株)社製、屈折率強度最大点での分子量730、S2/S1=1.3)

Claims (6)
- ポリイソシアネート(A)、ポリオール(B)、界面活性剤、および溶媒を含む防曇剤組成物であって、
前記ポリイソシアネート(A)は、ジイソシアネートおよびその誘導体からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種のポリイソシアネート化合物であり、
前記ポリオール(B)は、ポリエーテルポリオール(b1)と、ポリカプロラクトンポリオール(b2)を含み、
前記ポリエーテルポリオール(b1)は、ゲル浸透クロマトグラフィーによって示差屈折率計を用いて得られたクロマトグラムにおいて、屈折率強度最大点での分子量が300〜1,800であり、溶出開始点から前記屈折率強度最大点に対応する溶出時点までのピーク面積をS1とし、前記屈折率強度最大点に対応する前記溶出時点から溶出終了点までのピーク面積をS2としたとき、S2/S1が1.5以上2.0以下であり、
前記ポリカプロラクトンポリオール(b2)に対する前記ポリエーテルポリオール(b1)の質量比((b1)/(b2))が、5以上15以下であることを特徴とする防曇剤組成物。 - 前記ポリイソシアネート(A)と前記ポリオール(B)の合計に対して、前記ポリイソシアネート(A)の割合が20質量%以上70質量%以下であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の防曇剤組成物。
- 前記ポリカプロラクトンポリオール(b2)は、数平均分子量が300以上1,800以下であることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の防曇剤組成物。
- シリコーンオイルを含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の防曇剤組成物。
- 反応遅延剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の防曇剤組成物。
- 基材上に、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の防曇剤組成物から形成される防曇膜を有することを特徴とする防曇性物品。
