Abstract
Description
前記ベルト層が、撚り合わされずに一列に引き揃えられた複数本の金属フィラメントからなる補強素子をエラストマーにより被覆してなり、かつ、
前記トレッド部のベーストレッドが、0℃におけるtanδの値である0℃tanδと、30℃におけるtanδの値である30℃tanδとの比率0℃tanδ/30℃tanδが、2.90以上であるゴム組成物からなることを特徴とするものである。
エラストマー被覆率=(ゴム被覆長/試料長)×100(%)
なお、エラストマーとして、ゴム以外のエラストマーを用いた場合、および、金属コードとして、スチールコード以外の金属コードを用いた場合も、同様に算出することができる。
本発明においては、トレッド部101のベーストレッドが、0℃におけるtanδの値である0℃tanδと、30℃におけるtanδの値である30℃tanδとの比率0℃tanδ/30℃tanδが、2.90以上であるゴム組成物からなる。
下記の表1に示す配合処方に従い、通常のバンバリーミキサーを用いて、ベーストレッド用ゴム組成物A〜Cを調製した。なお、下記の表1中の各成分の配合量は、ゴム成分100質量部に対する量(質量部)を記載している。

下記の表2中に示す条件に従う補強素子としてのスチールコードを、上下両側から、ゴム組成物よりなる厚さ0.5mm程度のシートにより被覆して、ベルト層に用いる各ゴム−スチールコード複合体を作製した。コーティング用のゴム組成物は、常法に従い配合・混練することで調製した。得られた各ゴム−スチールコード複合体を160℃、20分にて加硫して、以下の評価を行った。
各ゴム−スチールコード複合体を用いて作製したベルト層に含まれるゴム量を、比較例1を基準の100として、指数にて求めた。数値が小さいほど、軽量性に優れ良好である。結果は表2中に示した。
各ゴム−スチールコード複合体を用いて作製した交錯ベルト層サンプルを用いて面内剛性の評価を行い、操縦安定性の指標とした。ベルト角度は、タイヤ周方向に対して±28°とした。この交錯ベルト層サンプルの下2点、上1点に冶具を配置し、上1点から押し込んだ時の荷重を面内剛性として評価した。結果は比較例1を基準の100として、指数にて求めた。数値が大きいほど、操縦安定性に優れている。結果は表2中に示した。
図1に示すようなタイヤサイズ195/65R15の乗用車用タイヤを、各ゴム−スチールコード複合体を2層のベルトに適用して作製した。ベルト角度は、タイヤ周方向に対して±28°とした。また、トレッド部のベーストレッドには、それぞれ下記の表2中に示すベーストレッド用ゴム組成物を適用した。
各ゴム−スチールコード複合体をベルト層に適用したタイヤについて、ドラム試験機による評価を行った後におけるセパレーション長さを測定して求めた。セパレーション長さが、比較例1より小さい場合を◎、同等である場合を○、やや大きい場合を△、大きい場合を×とした。結果は表2中に示した。
比較例1を基準(コントロール)として、各供試タイヤの転がり抵抗について推測値を求めた。結果は比較例1よりも転がり抵抗が低下している場合を▲で示した。結果は表2中に示した。

Claims (11)
- 接地部を形成するトレッド部に、少なくとも1層のベルト層からなるベルトを備えるタイヤにおいて、
前記ベルト層が、撚り合わされずに一列に引き揃えられた複数本の金属フィラメントからなる補強素子をエラストマーにより被覆してなり、かつ、
前記トレッド部のベーストレッドが、0℃におけるtanδの値である0℃tanδと、30℃におけるtanδの値である30℃tanδとの比率0℃tanδ/30℃tanδが、2.90以上であるゴム組成物からなることを特徴とするタイヤ。 - 前記補強素子が、2本以上20本以下の金属フィラメントからなる金属フィラメント束である請求項1記載のタイヤ。
- 前記金属フィラメント同士の間の最小隙間距離が、0.01mm以上0.24mm未満
である請求項1または2記載のタイヤ。 - 前記金属フィラメント同士の間の最大隙間距離が、0.25mm以上2.0mm以下である請求項1〜3のうちいずれか一項記載のタイヤ。
- 前記金属フィラメントの線径が、0.15mm以上0.40mm以下である請求項1〜4のうちいずれか一項記載のタイヤ。
- 前記30℃tanδが、0.075〜0.220である請求項1〜5のうちいずれか一項記載のタイヤ。
- 前記0℃tanδが、0.200〜0.625である請求項1〜6のうちいずれか一項記載のタイヤ。
- 前記ゴム組成物が、ゴム成分として、スチレン量が26質量%以上のスチレンブタジエンゴムを含む請求項1〜7のうちいずれか一項記載のタイヤ。
- 前記ゴム組成物が、ゴム成分として、天然ゴムをさらに含む請求項8記載のタイヤ。
- 前記ゴム組成物が、ゴム成分として、ブタジエンゴムをさらに含む請求項8または9記載のタイヤ。
- 前記ゴム組成物が、ゴム成分として、前記天然ゴムを10〜75質量%、前記ブタジエンゴムを10〜75質量%、前記スチレンブタジエンゴムを15〜60質量%含む請求項10記載のタイヤ。
