4,4’−ビフェノール130.2g(0.7モル)、イソフタル酸116.2g(0.7モル)、6−ヒドロキシ−2−ナフタレンカルボン酸131.6g(0.7モル)、4−アミノ安息香酸95.9g(0.7モル)、および無水酢酸286g(2.8モル)を混合してから150℃に加熱し、窒素下にて150℃で3時間反応させ、次いで320℃まで加熱し、320℃で1時間反応させた。続いて、温度を320℃に保ち、反応が理想的な粘度に達するまで、徐々に圧力を真空にした。次いで、窒素を用いて真空を破壊し、窒素の圧力により生成物を押し出した。オストワルド粘度計により測定した生成物の固有粘度は0.81dL/gであった。生成物を140℃でN−メチル−2−ピロリドン(NMP)中に完全に溶解させ、濃度0.3g/dLの溶液を得た。室温(25℃)でその溶液の固有粘度をオストワルド粘度計により測定した。生成物の熱分解温度(Td)は453℃であった(熱重量分析(TGA)により測定)。示差走査熱量測定(DSC)により測定した生成物の融点(Tm)は286℃、ガラス転移温度(Tg)は169℃であった。生成物をNMP中に溶解させて、固形分8wt%(最大溶解度)の溶液を作った。その溶液を銅箔上に塗布して乾燥させてから、200℃から300℃で熱処理して、銅箔に付着した液晶ポリマーフィルム(厚さ25マイクロメーター)を得た。次いで、銅箔をエッチング液で除去し、単独の液晶ポリマーフィルムを得た。上述の反応において、
スピロビフェノール(spirobiphenol)86.3g(0.28モル)、4,4’−ビフェノール78.2g(0.42モル)、イソフタル酸116.2g(0.7モル)、6−ヒドロキシ−2−ナフタレンカルボン酸131.6g(0.7モル)、4−アミノ安息香酸95.9g(0.7モル)、および無水酢酸286g(2.8モル)を混合してから150℃に加熱し、窒素下にて150℃で3時間反応させ、次いで320℃まで加熱し、320℃で1時間反応させた。続いて、温度を320℃に保ち、反応が理想的な粘度に達するまで、徐々に圧力を真空にした。次いで、窒素を用いて真空を破壊し、窒素の圧力により生成物を押し出した。オストワルド粘度計により測定した生成物の固有粘度は0.71dL/gであった。生成物を140℃でNMP中に完全に溶解させ、濃度0.3g/dLの溶液を得た。室温(25℃)でその溶液の固有粘度をオストワルド粘度計により測定した。生成物のTdは450℃であった(TGAにより測定)。DSCにより測定した生成物のTmは243℃、Tgは165℃であった。生成物をNMP中に溶解させて、固形分16wt%(最大溶解度)の溶液を作った。その溶液を銅箔上に塗布して乾燥させてから、200℃から300℃で熱処理して、銅箔に付着した液晶ポリマーフィルム(厚さ40マイクロメーター)を得た。次いで、その銅箔をエッチング液で除去し、単独の液晶ポリマーフィルムを得た。
スピロビフェノール215.6g(0.7モル)、イソフタル酸116.2g(0.7モル)、6−ヒドロキシ−2−ナフタレンカルボン酸131.6g(0.7モル)、4−アミノ安息香酸95.9g(0.7モル)、および無水酢酸286g(2.8モル)を混合してから150℃に加熱し、窒素下にて150℃で3時間反応させ、次いで320℃まで加熱し、320℃で1時間反応させた。続いて、温度を320℃に保ち、反応が理想的な粘度に達するまで、徐々に圧力を真空にした。次いで、窒素を用いて真空を破壊し、窒素の圧力により生成物を押し出した。オストワルド粘度計により測定した生成物の固有粘度は0.2dL/gであった。生成物を140℃でNMP中に完全に溶解させ、濃度0.3g/dLの溶液を得た。室温(25℃)でその溶液の固有粘度をオストワルド粘度計により測定した。生成物のTdは413℃であった(TGAにより測定)。DSCにより測定したところ、生成物はTmを有さず、Tgは231℃であった。生成物をNMP中に溶解させて、固形分8wt%(最大溶解度)の溶液を作った。
Claims (19)
- スピロ構造を有する少なくとも1つの繰り返し単位を含む液晶ポリマーであって、1mol%から20mol%の前記繰り返し単位を含む液晶ポリマー。
- 固有粘度が0.1dL/gから5dL/gである請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の液晶ポリマー。
- 支持体と、
前記支持体上に配置された液晶ポリマーフィルムと、
を含む積層材であって、
前記液晶ポリマーフィルムが請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載の前記液晶ポリマーを含む、積層材。 - 前前記液晶ポリマーフィルムの厚さが1マイクロメーターから100マイクロメーターである、請求項9に記載の積層材。
- 前記支持体には銅箔、ガラス、またはアルミニウム箔が含まれる、請求項9または10に記載の積層材。
- 前記支持体と前記液晶ポリマーフィルムとの間に配置された接着層をさらに含む請求項9から11のいずれか1項に記載の積層材。
- 100重量部の溶媒と、
0.01から100重量部の請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載の前記液晶ポリマーと、
を含む液晶ポリマー溶液。 - 前記溶媒には、ハロゲン含有溶媒、エーテル溶媒、ケトン溶媒、エステル溶媒、カーボネート溶媒、アミン溶媒、ニトリル溶媒、アミド溶媒、ニトロ溶媒、スルフィド溶媒、ホスフィド(phosphide)溶媒、パラフィン、オレフィン、アルコール、アルデヒド、芳香族炭化水素、テルペン、水素添加炭化水素、複素環化合物、またはこれらの組み合わせが含まれる、請求項13に記載の液晶ポリマー溶液。
- 別の樹脂をさらに含み、前記別の樹脂には熱可塑性樹脂または熱硬化性樹脂が含まれる、請求項13または14に記載の液晶ポリマー溶液。
- 添加剤をさらに含み、前記添加剤には無機フィラー、有機フィラー、抗酸化剤、 UV吸収剤、熱安定剤、光安定剤、抗エイジング剤、強化剤、鎖延長剤、可塑剤、 架橋剤、塗料インクに用いる添加剤、またはこれらの組み合わせが含まれる、請求項13から15のいずれか1項に記載の液晶ポリマー溶液。
- 請求項13から16のいずれか1項に記載の前記液晶ポリマー溶液を支持体上に塗布する工程と、
前記溶媒を除去して前記支持体上に液晶ポリマーフィルムを形成する工程と、
を含む液晶ポリマーフィルムの形成方法。 - 前記支持体には銅箔、ガラス、またはアルミニウム箔が含まれる、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記液晶ポリマーフィルムを前記支持体上に形成した後に、前記支持体を除去する工程をさらに含む請求項17または18に記載の方法。
