Abstract
Description
パターン電極16は、例えば導電性材料18が真空蒸着法や無電解ニッケルメッキ法等の手法で全面に形成された後、レーザ加工により一部の電極を除去してパターニングされる。なお、本実施形態においてパターン電極16の材料はニッケルを用いるが、これに限られるものではない。パターン電極16は、例えば金や銅等で形成してもよい。あるいはパターン電極16は2種以上の導電性の膜を積層しても良い。
Claims (5)
- 第1の電極を有する第1エリアと、
前記第1エリアに連続するとともに複数の溝を有し、前記溝の内面に、前記第1の電極に接続されるとともに変質部を有する第2の電極を有する、第2エリアと、
を有するベース部を備える液体吐出ヘッド。 - 前記第1エリアは前記ベース部の表面に配され、
前記第2エリアは前記ベース部の前記表面に連続する面に形成された複数の前記溝の底部であり、
複数の前記溝の少なくとも一部が圧力室を構成し、
前記変質部は金属材料の残渣、酸化膜、及び炭化膜、合金層の少なくともいずれかを有する、請求項1に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。 - 前記第1エリアは、前記第2エリアよりも広く、配線数が多い、請求項1に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。
- 第1エリアにおいて、エッチング処理により電極をパターニングし、第1の電極を形成することと、
前記第1エリアに連続するとともに複数の溝を有する第2エリアにおいてレーザ加工により電極をパターニングして前記第1の電極に接続される第2の電極を形成することと、を備える、液体吐出ヘッドの製造方法。 - 第1の電極を有する第1エリアと、複数の溝を有し、前記溝の内面に、変質部を有するとともに前記第1の電極に接続される第2の電極を有する、第2エリアと、を有するベース部を備える液体吐出ヘッドと、
所定の搬送路に沿って媒体を搬送する搬送装置と、
を備える液体吐出装置。
