Claims (15)
- 第一の端部および第二の端部を有するボディモジュールであって、
1人または複数の乗員を収容するための乗員室と、
車両のオペレーションを制御するための車両コンピューティングデバイスと
を含む、ボディモジュールと、
前記ボディモジュールの第一の端部において前記ボディモジュールに取り外し可能に連結された駆動モジュールと
を備えた車両であって、前記駆動モジュールは、
駆動モジュールフレームと、
第一および第二のホイールと、
前記第一および第二のホイールの少なくとも1つを駆動するために前記駆動モジュールフレームと前記第一および第二のホイールとに結合された推進システムと、
前記乗員室に温度制御された空気を供給するために前記駆動モジュールフレームの中にまたは上に配置されたHVAC(暖房換気および空調)システムと
を含むことを特徴とする車両。 - 前記駆動モジュールは、
前記推進システムおよび前記HVACシステムに電力を供給するために前記推進システムおよび前記HVACシステムに結合されたエネルギー貯蔵システムと、
前記車両コンピューティングデバイスに通信接続された駆動モジュール制御システムであって、前記車両コンピューティングデバイスから受信される信号に少なくとも部分的に基づいて、前記推進システムおよび前記HVACシステムのオペレーションを制御するように構成される、駆動モジュール制御システムと
をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両。 - 前記駆動モジュールは、
前記駆動モジュールフレームに結合されたクラッシュストラクチャーであって、前記車両の前記第一の端部に伝わる衝撃力を吸収するように構成される、クラッシュストラクチャーをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両。 - 前記駆動モジュールは、
前記第一および第二のホイールをステアするために前記第一および第二のホイールに結合されたステアリング組立体、
前記第一および第二のホイールを制動するために前記第一および第二のホイールに結合されたブレーキング組立体、
前記駆動モジュールフレームに前記第一および第二のホイールを可動連結するためのサスペンション組立体、
前記車両の1つまたは複数の外部ボディパネルまたはフェイシア、または
前記車両の1つまたは複数の外部ライト
のうちの少なくとも1つをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両。 - 前記駆動モジュールは、第一の駆動モジュールであり、前記車両は、前記車両の前記第二の端部に取り外し可能に連結された第二の駆動モジュールをさらに備え、前記第一の駆動モジュールおよび前記第二の駆動モジュールは、実質的に同一であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両。
- 前記第一の駆動モジュールは、前記車両における前記第一の端部の周囲の環境において物体を感知するための1つまたは複数のセンサーをさらに含み、
前記第二の駆動モジュールは、前記車両における前記第二の端部の周囲の環境において物体を感知するための1つまたは複数のセンサーをさらに含み、
前記第一の駆動モジュールの前記1つまたは複数のセンサーおよび前記第二の駆動モジュールの前記1つまたは複数のセンサーは、前記ボディモジュールの前記車両コンピューティングデバイスに通信接続されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の車両。 - 前記ボディモジュールは、
前記ボディモジュールの前記第一の駆動モジュールに連結するための第一の連結インターフェイスと、
前記ボディモジュールの前記第二の駆動モジュールに連結するための第二の連結インターフェイスと
を含み、前記第一の連結インターフェイスまたは前記第二の連結インターフェイスのうちの少なくとも1つは、
前記第一の駆動モジュールまたは前記第二の駆動モジュールのうちのそれぞれ1つに前記ボディモジュールを機械的に連結するためのメカニカルコネクターと、
前記第一の駆動モジュール、前記第二の駆動モジュールのうちの前記それぞれ1つに前記ボディモジュールを電気的に接続するための電気コネクター、
前記第一の駆動モジュール、前記第二の駆動モジュールのうちの前記それぞれ1つに前記ボディモジュールを流体的に接続するための流体コネクター、または
前記第一の駆動モジュール、前記第二の駆動モジュールのうちの前記それぞれ1つの前記HVACシステムから温度制御された空気を受け取るための空気コネクター
のうちの少なくとも1つと
を含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の車両。 - 前記メカニカルコネクターは、前記第一の駆動モジュールおよび第二の駆動モジュールのうちの前記それぞれの1つに対応する前記ボディモジュールを整列させるためのアラインメントガイドを含み、
前記電気コネクター、前記流体コネクター、または前記空気コネクターのうちの前記少なくとも1つは、ブラインドメイトコネクターであることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の車両。 - 前記車両は、自律車両を含み、前記ボディモジュールの前記車両コンピューティングデバイスは、前記車両のオペレーションを自律的に制御するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両。
- 前記駆動モジュールは、前記車両の進む方向に光を発するためのライトを含み、
前記ボディモジュールは、前記車両の周囲に光を発するための外部ライトをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両。 - 車両の駆動モジュールであって、
駆動モジュールフレームと、
第一および第二のホイールと、
前記第一および第二のホイールの少なくとも1つを駆動するために前記駆動モジュールフレームと前記第一および第二のホイールとに結合された推進システムと、
前記車両に結合されると、前記車両の乗員に温度制御された空気を供給するために前記駆動モジュールフレームの中にまたは上に配置されたHVAC(暖房換気および空調)システムと
を含むことを特徴とする駆動モジュール。 - 前記電気駆動モーターおよび前記HVACシステムに電力を供給するために前記推進システムおよび前記HVACシステムに結合されたエネルギー貯蔵システムと、
前記推進システムおよび前記HVACシステムのオペレーションを制御するように構成された駆動モジュール制御システムと
をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の駆動モジュール。 - 前記駆動モジュールフレームに結合されたクラッシュストラクチャーであって、前記駆動モジュールに伝わる衝撃力を吸収するように構成される、クラッシュストラクチャーをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の駆動モジュール。
- 前記第一および第二のホイールをステアするために前記第一および第二のホイールに結合されたステアリング組立体、
前記第一および第二のホイールを制動するために前記第一および第二のホイールに結合されたブレーキング組立体、
前記駆動モジュールフレームに前記第一および第二のホイールを可動連結するためのサスペンション組立体、
前記車両の1つまたは複数の外部ボディパネルまたはフェイシア、
前記車両の1つまたは複数の外部ライト、または
前記駆動モジュールの周囲の環境における物体を感知するために前記駆動モジュールに結合された1つまたは複数のセンサーであって、1つまたは複数のLIDAR、レーダーまたはカメラを含む、センサー、
をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の駆動モジュール。 - 前記駆動モジュールは、車両のボディモジュールに前記駆動モジュールを連結するための連結インターフェイスを含み、前記連結インターフェイスは、
ガイド突起部を受け取るためのガイド突起部、レセプタクルのうちの少なくとも1つと、
前記車両の前記ボディモジュールに前記駆動モジュールを機械的に連結するためのメカニカルコネクターと、
前記車両の前記ボディモジュールに前記駆動モジュールを電気的に接続するための電気コネクター、
前記車両の前記ボディモジュールに前記駆動モジュールを流体的に接続するための流体コネクター、または
前記車両の前記ボディモジュールに前記駆動モジュールの前記HVACシステムから温度制御された空気を供給するための空気コネクター
のうちの少なくとも1つと
を含むことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の駆動モジュール。
