本発明の包装材料を評価するために、本発明に従って製造された包装材料のブロッキング挙動を、ロッドコーターを用いた実験室試験で評価する一連の試験を行った。
本発明に従って製造された包装材料のブロッキング挙動をオフラインコーター(ロールアプリケーターおよび計量ロッド)を用いた製造試験において評価する第2の一連の試験を実施した。
Claims (14)
- ヒートシール可能な包装材料を製造する方法であって、
トッププライを含む板紙基材を提供するステップ、
前記トッププライ上に第1の分散液バリア層を適用するステップであって、この第1の分散液バリア層は第1のガラス転移温度を有するラテックスを含むステップ、および
前記第1のバリア層上に第2の分散液バリア層を適用するステップであって、この第2の分散液バリア層は第2のガラス転移温度を有するラテックスを含むステップを含み、
前記第2のガラス転移温度は前記第1のガラス転移温度よりも高く、第2の分散液バリア層の坪量は第1の分散液バリア層の坪量より低く、かつ、第2の分散液バリア層は顔料を含む、
上記方法。 - 前記第1のガラス転移温度が≧−10℃から≦15℃の範囲内、好ましくは≧−10℃から≦10℃の範囲内である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第2のガラス転移温度が、≧10℃から≦40℃の範囲内、好ましくは≧15℃から≦30℃の範囲内、より好ましくは≧20℃から≦25℃の範囲内である、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の分散液バリア層が、≧4g/m2から≦25g/m2の範囲内の量、好ましくは≧5g/m2から≦15g/m2の範囲内の量で適用される、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の分散液バリア層が、≧3g/m2から≦20g/m2の範囲内の量、好ましくは≧5g/m2から≦15g/m2の範囲内の量、より好ましくは≧5g/m2から≦12g/m2の範囲内の量で適用される、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の分散液バリア層が、乾燥固形分量に基づいて、≧0重量%から≦40重量%の範囲内の量、好ましくは≧5重量%から≦20重量%の範囲内の量、より好ましくは≧10重量%から≦15重量%の範囲内の量の顔料を含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の分散液バリア層が、合計固形分量に基づいて、≧30重量%から≦70重量%の範囲内の量、好ましくは≧30重量%から≦50重量%の範囲内の量の顔料を含む、請求項6または7に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の分散液バリア層が、当該層の乾燥固形分量に基づいて、≧50重量%から≦90重量%の範囲内の量、好ましくは≧60重量%から≦80重量%の範囲内の量のラテックスを含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の分散液バリア層中のラテックスの平均粒径が、前記第1の分散液バリア層のラテックスの平均粒径よりも小さい、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の方法によって製造されたヒートシール可能な包装材料。
- トッププライを含む板紙基材と、
トッププライ上の第1の分散液バリア層であって、この第1の分散液バリア層は第1のガラス転移温度を有するラテックスを含む第1の分散液バリア層と、
前記第1のバリア層上の第2の分散液バリア層であって、この第2の分散液バリア層は第2のガラス転移温度を有するラテックスを含む第2の分散液バリア層とを含む、ヒートシール可能な包装材料であって、
前記第2ガラス転移温度は前記第1のガラス転移温度よりも高く、第2の分散液バリア層の坪量は第1の分散液バリア層の坪量より低く、第2の分散液バリア層は顔料を含む、ヒートシール可能な包装材料。 - 前記第1の分散液バリア層が、≧6から≦12の範囲内、好ましくは≧9から≦12の範囲内のKITバリア性を有する、請求項10または11のいずれか1項に記載のヒートシール可能な包装材料。
- 前記第2の分散液バリア層が、合計固形分量に基づいて、≧30重量%から≦70重量%の範囲内の量、好ましくは≧30重量%から≦50重量%の範囲内の量の顔料を含む、請求項10〜12のいずれか1項に記載のヒートシール可能な包装材料。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の方法によって製造されたヒートシール可能な包装材料から、あるいは請求項10〜13のいずれか1項に記載のヒートシール可能な包装材料から作製された、ヒートシールされた包装または超音波によってシールされた包装。
