Description
光源からの出射光を投影レンズを介して灯具前方へ向けて照射するように構成された灯具ユニットを備えた車両用灯具において、
上記灯具ユニットは、上記光源として各々所要の点灯モードで点灯する第1および第2光源を備えており、
上記第1光源は、上記投影レンズの後側焦点近傍に配置された少なくとも1つの発光素子で構成されており、
上記第2光源は、上記後側焦点よりも上方側において該後側焦点から灯具前後方向に変位した位置に配置された少なくとも1つの発光素子で構成されており、
上記第1光源を構成する各発光素子および上記第2光源を構成する各発光素子は、灯具前後方向と直交する鉛直面に対して灯具前後方向に傾斜して延びるように配置された同一の基板に搭載されている、ことを特徴とするものである。

Claims (5)
- 光源からの出射光を投影レンズを介して灯具前方へ向けて照射するように構成された灯具ユニットを備えた車両用灯具において、
上記灯具ユニットは、上記光源として各々所要の点灯モードで点灯する第1および第2光源を備えており、
上記第1光源は、上記投影レンズの後側焦点近傍に配置された少なくとも1つの発光素子で構成されており、
上記第2光源は、上記後側焦点よりも上方側において該後側焦点から灯具前後方向に変位した位置に配置された少なくとも1つの発光素子で構成されており、
上記第1光源を構成する各発光素子および上記第2光源を構成する各発光素子は、灯具前後方向と直交する鉛直面に対して灯具前後方向に傾斜して延びるように配置された同一の基板に搭載されている、ことを特徴とする車両用灯具。 - 上記第2光源の発光面積は、上記第1光源の発光面積よりも大きい値に設定されている、ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両用灯具。
- ロービーム用配光パターンとハイビーム用配光パターンとを選択的に形成し得るように構成された第2灯具ユニットを備えており、
上記灯具ユニットは、上記第2光源の点灯によって上記ロービーム用配光パターンの明るさを補強するとともに、上記第1光源の点灯によって上記ハイビーム用配光パターンの明るさを補強するように構成されている、ことを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の車両用灯具。 - 上記基板は、上記鉛直面に対して灯具前方側に傾斜している、ことを特徴とする請求項1〜3いずれか記載の車両用灯具。
- 上記灯具ユニットは、上記第2光源の左右両側に配置された1対のリフレクタを備えており、
上記各リフレクタは、上記第2光源からの出射光を上記投影レンズへ向けて反射させるように構成されている、ことを特徴とする請求項1〜4いずれか記載の車両用灯具。
