Claims (8)
- 少なくとも1つの電池モジュールと、前記電池モジュールを収容するケースとを含む電池パックにおいて、
前記電池モジュールが載置される載置面を含む前記ケースの底部を隔壁として利用すると共に、前記底部を介して前記電池モジュールと冷却液とを熱交換させる冷却器と、
前記載置面から窪むと共に前記ケースの一対の側部および一対の端壁部に沿って前記載置面を包囲するように前記底部に形成された凹部と、
を備える電池パック。 - 請求項1に記載の電池パックにおいて
前記ケースの前記一対の側部および前記一対の端壁部の少なくとも何れかは、前記底部に溶接されている電池パック。 - 請求項1または2に記載の電池パックにおいて、
前記冷却器は、液位計を有すると共に前記冷却液を貯留する冷却液タンクと前記冷却液を圧送する冷却液ポンプとを含む冷却液循環通路に接続されており、
前記凹部の容積は、前記冷却器から漏れ出た前記冷却液が前記凹部から溢れる前に前記液位計により検出可能な液位変動を生じさせるように定められている電池パック。 - 請求項3に記載の電池パックにおいて、
前記ケースの前記一対の側部は、衝撃を吸収するための複数の空洞部をそれぞれ含み、
前記冷却液循環通路の少なくとも一部は、前記複数の空洞部の少なくとも何れかにより形成される電池パック。 - 請求項3または4に記載の電池パックにおいて、
前記冷却液循環通路は、前記冷却液ポンプの吐出口と前記冷却器との間に配置された三方弁と、前記三方弁と前記冷却液タンクとに接続された第1バイパス通路と、開閉弁を含むと共に前記冷却液ポンプの吸入口と前記冷却器の前記凹部とに接続された第2バイパス通路とを含む電池パック。 - 請求項3または4に記載の電池パックにおいて、
前記冷却液循環通路は、前記冷却液ポンプの吐出口と前記冷却器との間に配置された第1三方弁と、前記第1三方弁と前記冷却液タンクとに接続された第1バイパス通路と、前記冷却液タンクと前記冷却器との間に配置された第2三方弁と、前記第2三方弁と前記冷却液ポンプの吸入口とに接続された第2バイパス通路とを含む電池パック。 - 請求項1から6の何れか一項に記載の電池パックにおいて、
前記凹部内に配置されると共に漏電検出回路に接続される導電体を更に備える電池パック。 - 請求項1から7の何れか一項に記載の電池パックにおいて、
直列に接続される複数の前記電池モジュールを含み、
所定数の前記電池モジュールが1つのユニットを形成し、互いに接続される前記ユニット同士の間にヒューズが設置されている電池パック。
