Abstract
Description
ポリマー硬質発泡材は、一般に公知であり、かつ多様な分野で、例えば断熱材料として、包装材において、および軽量化構造体において使用される。この発泡材は、軽量化構造体の分野において特に、低い密度で高い強度を有することが好ましい。ここでは、とりわけ、PVC発泡材、PET発泡材、特にPU発泡材およびP(M)I−(ポリ(メタ)アクリルイミド)発泡材が使用され、これらの発泡材は、とりわけサンドイッチ複合材中のコア材料として使用される。
したがって、本発明の課題は、先行技術の検討された欠点を有しないPMMAフォームの新規な製造方法を提供することであった。
前記課題は、PMMA発泡材を製造するための新規な方法であって、かなりの割合のMMAを含むモノマー混合物を、またはかなりの割合のMMAからなるポリマーとかなりの割合のMMAから構成されたモノマー混合物からなるシロップを、好ましくは、重合条件でガス状でない発泡剤および/または共重合可能な発泡剤の存在で重合させる、例えばプレート重合させることにより発泡材の製造を行う方法により解決される。こうして、完全に重合させかつ任意に後から発泡剤を負荷させて得られたPMMAプレートを、次いで、第二段階で加熱により発泡させる。
PMMAフォームの製造のための包括的手法
配合物の個々の成分(具体的な組成については、次の表を参照)を順々に秤量し、引き続き約20分間にわたり撹拌モータを用いてかつ場合によりUltraturraxを使用しながら混合して、均質な混合物を得た。
Claims (12)
- ポリメタクリラート発泡材の製造方法であって、開始剤0.2〜2.0質量%、重合可能でない発泡剤0〜20質量%、調節剤0〜5質量%およびモノマー混合物70〜99.8質量%を含む組成物を、20℃〜100℃の温度で重合させ、引き続き130℃〜250℃の温度で発泡させ、前記モノマー混合物は、MMA 70〜95質量%、アルキル基中に1〜12個のC原子を有するアルキルアクリラート0.1〜5質量%、アルキル基中に2〜12個のC原子を有するアルキルメタクリラート0〜10質量%、メタクリルアミド、N−アルキルメタクリルアミドおよび/またはN,N−ジ−アルキルメタクリルアミド0.5〜10質量%、架橋剤0〜10質量%、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸および/またはイタコン酸0〜10質量%およびヒドロキシ官能性アルキル(メタ)アクリラート0〜10質量%からなり、ここで、前記モノマー混合物の全部または一部は、前記重合の開始時に、80質量%までがポリマーおよび/またはオリゴマーとして存在してよいことを特徴とする、方法。
- 前記重合を30℃〜70℃の温度で行い、かつ前記発泡を150℃〜230℃の温度で行うことを特徴とする、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記架橋剤は、ジ(メタ)アクリラート、トリ(メタ)アクリラート、テトラ(メタ)アクリラート、アリル(メタ)アクリラート、トリアリルシアヌラート、トリアリルイソシアヌラートまたは前記架橋剤の少なくとも2つを含む混合物であることを特徴とする、請求項1または2の少なくとも1項記載の方法。
- 前記アルキルメタクリラートは、全部または一部が、tert−ブチルメタクリラートおよび/またはイソプロピルメタクリラートであり、かつ/または前記アルキルアクリラートは、全部または一部が、tert−ブチルアクリラートおよび/またはイソプロピルアクリラートであることを特徴とする、請求項1から3までの少なくとも1項記載の方法。
- 前記モノマー混合物は、tert−ブチルメタクリラート、イソプロピルメタクリラート、tert−ブチルアクリラートおよび/またはイソプロピルアクリラートを5〜10質量%含み、tert−ブチルアクリラートおよびイソプロピルアクリラートの割合は、最大で5質量%であり、かつ前記組成物は、共重合可能でない発泡剤を有しないことを特徴とする、請求項4記載の方法。
- 前記組成物は、開始剤0.5〜1.5質量%、重合可能でない発泡剤0〜15質量%、調節剤0〜1質量%およびモノマー混合物75〜98.49質量%を含み、前記モノマー混合物は、MMA 75〜95質量%、アルキル基中に1〜8個のC原子を有するアルキルアクリラート0.5〜2.5質量%、アルキル基中に2〜8個のC原子を有するアルキルメタクリラート0〜5質量%、メタクリルアミド、N−アルキルメタクリルアミドおよび/またはN,N−ジ−アルキルメタクリルアミド1〜8質量%、ジメタクリラートまたはトリメタクリラート0〜5質量%、およびアクリル酸、メタクリル酸および/またはイタコン酸0〜8質量%から構成されており、かつ0〜50質量%がポリマーおよび/またはオリゴマーとして存在することを特徴とする、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記モノマー混合物は、アルキル基中に1〜12個の炭素原子を有するN−アルキルメタクリルアミドを有し、かつメタクリルアミドまたはN,N−ジ−アルキルメタクリルアミドを有しないことを特徴とする、請求項1から6までの少なくとも1項記載の方法。

- 前記重合および/または前記発泡を、異なる温度で段階的に行うことを特徴とする、請求項1から8までの少なくとも1項記載の方法。
- 前記重合および前記発泡を、少なくとも部分的に同時に行うことを特徴とする、請求項1から9までの少なくとも1項記載の方法。
- PMMAフォームにおいて、前記フォームの固形分の少なくとも95質量%がモノマー混合物から製造されたポリマーからなり、前記モノマー混合物は、MMA 70〜95質量%、アルキル基中に1〜12個のC原子を有するアルキルアクリラート0.1〜5質量%、アルキル基中に2〜12個のC原子を有するアルキルメタクリラート0〜10質量%、メタクリルアミド、N−アルキルメタクリルアミドおよび/またはN,N−ジ−アルキルメタクリルアミド0.5〜10質量%、架橋剤0〜10質量%、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸および/またはイタコン酸0〜10質量%およびヒドロキシ官能性アルキル(メタ)アクリラート0〜10質量%からなり、かつ前記フォームは、50〜350kg/m3の密度を有することを特徴とする、PMMAフォーム。
- 前記PMMAフォームは、75〜250kg/m3の密度を有することを特徴とする、請求項11記載のPMMAフォーム。
