Abstract
Description
本発明を目的とする本説明及び特許請求の範囲において、以下の定義が適用される様々な用語が使用され得る。
(1) 自由形式コンタクトレンズであって、
凹形状を有する後方光学的品質表面と、
凸形状を有する対向する前方表面であって、前記前方及び後方表面は、前記コンタクトレンズの外周を画定するレンズ縁部において接合する、前記前方表面と、
所定の形状を有し、第1の重合反応混合物から構成される少なくとも第1のレンズ特徴部と、を含み、
前記コンタクトレンズの残りは、前記第1の重合反応混合物とは異なる第2の重合反応混合物から構成され、前記第1の重合反応混合物と前記第2の重合反応混合物とは共有結合している、コンタクトレンズ。
(2) 前記少なくとも第1のレンズ特徴部は、前記後方光学的表面から前記コンタクトレンズ内の所定の深さまで延び、前記少なくとも第1のレンズ特徴部は、前記後方表面に沿う以外で前記第2の重合反応混合物によって完全に囲まれている、実施態様1に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
(3) 前記少なくとも第1のレンズ特徴部は、前記第2の重合反応混合物によって完全に囲まれている、実施態様1に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
(4) 前記少なくとも第1のレンズ特徴部は、前記前方表面から前記コンタクトレンズ内の所定の深さまで延び、前記少なくとも第1のレンズ特徴部は、前記前方表面に沿う以外で前記第2の重合反応混合物によって完全に囲まれている、実施態様1に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
(5) 前記第1又は第2の反応混合物は蛍光物質を含む、実施態様1に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
(7) 前記第1又は第2の反応混合物は有機色素を含む、実施態様1に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
(8) 前記第1又は第2の反応混合物はエタフィルコンである、実施態様1に記載のコンタクトレンズ。

(18) 少なくとも1つのレンズ特徴部を有するコンタクトレンズを形成するための方法であって、
レンズ特徴部反応混合物と、前記レンズ特徴部反応混合物とは異なるレンズ反応混合物とを得ることと、
成形オプティックの少なくとも凸状の光学的品質表面を、前記レンズ特徴部反応混合物を収容するリザーバ内に浸漬させることであって、前記凸状の光学的品質表面は、前記コンタクトレンズの後方表面を画定する、浸漬させることと、

成形オプティックの少なくとも凸状の光学的品質表面を、前記レンズ特徴部反応混合物を収容するリザーバ内に浸漬させることであって、前記凸状の光学的品質表面は、前記コンタクトレンズの後方表面を画定する、浸漬させることと、
化学線を、前記成形オプティックを通して、前記レンズ特徴部反応混合物のリザーバ内に印加することと、
前記印加した化学線を選択的に制御して、前記レンズ特徴部反応混合物の一部を、前記成形オプティックの少なくとも第1の所定の部分に沿ってボクセル単位で選択的に重合又は部分的に重合することと、
前記レンズ特徴部反応混合物のリザーバから前記成形オプティックを取り出すことと、
前記成形オプティックの少なくとも前記凸状の光学的品質表面と、付着したレンズ特徴部反応混合物とを、前記レンズ反応混合物のリザーバに浸漬することと、
化学線を、前記成形オプティックを通して、前記レンズ反応混合物のリザーバ内に印加することと、
前記印加した化学線を選択的に制御して、前記レンズ反応混合物の一部を、ボクセル単位で選択的に重合又は部分的に重合することであって、前記選択的に重合又は部分的に重合したレンズ反応混合物は、前記成形オプティックの前記所定の部分に隣接する以外で前記重合又は部分的に重合したレンズ特徴部反応混合物を完全に包囲する、重合することと、
前記レンズ反応混合物から前記成形オプティックを取り出すことと、
固定化放射線を印加して前記コンタクトレンズを形成することと、を含む方法。 - 前記レンズ特徴部反応混合物は、前記レンズ反応混合物と共有結合する、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記レンズ特徴部反応混合物は蛍光物質を含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記蛍光物質はフルオレセイン成分を含む、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記レンズ特徴部反応混合物は有機色素を含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記レンズ反応混合物はエタフィルコンである、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記レンズ反応混合物はシリコーン系である、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記選択的に重合したレンズ特徴部反応混合物は所定の形状を形成する、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記所定の形状は基準マーカーである、請求項25に記載の方法。
- 前記所定の形状は幾何学的パターンである、請求項25に記載の方法。
