Description
図1を参照すると、1は機関本体、2は排気マニホルド、3は排気管、4は、排気管3に接続された排気処理装置、5は、排気処理装置4内に収容されている排気処理触媒、6は、水素を含む改質ガスを生成するための改質器を夫々示す。改質器6は、改質用触媒7と、改質用触媒7の一側に形成されたバーナー燃焼室8と、改質用触媒7の他側に形成された改質ガス流出室9と、バーナー10とを具備する。バーナー10は、燃料タンク11およびエアポンプ12に接続され、燃料タンク11から供給された燃料およびエアポンプ12から供給された空気がバーナー10からバーナー燃焼室8内に供給される。

Claims (4)
- 機関排気通路内に排気処理触媒を配置し、排気処理触媒上流の機関排気通路内に、改質器において生成された水素を供給するようにした内燃機関の排気浄化装置において、機関排気通路内に挿入された水素供給管の外周面上に、機関排気通路内を流れる排気ガスとの間で熱交換を行うための熱交換用フィンを形成した内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 水素供給管の内周面上に、水素供給管内を流れる、水素を含む改質ガスとの間で熱交換を行うための熱交換用フィンを更に形成した請求項1に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 水素供給管内に、水素供給管内を流れる、水素を含む改質ガスに水素供給管の軸線回りの旋回流を与える旋回流生成器を配置した請求項1に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 水素供給管の先端部は、排気管の外部から排気管の管壁を貫通して排気管の内部まで延びると共に、水素供給管の先端開口部が排気処理触媒の上流側端面に向かうように排気管の軸線方向に折り曲げられている請求項1に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
