Abstract
Description
図1は、本発明の第1の実施形態に関する超音波探触子100の全体構造の一例を示す断面図である。
図2は、バッキング170の厚さの違いによる熱抵抗と音響レンズ160の表面の温度上昇との関係を示すグラフである。ここで、図2の縦軸は、音響レンズ160の表面の温度上昇(K)を示し、横軸はバッキング170の熱抵抗(K/W)を示す。
図3は、低周波プローブであるセクタプローブの周波数の特性を示すグラフである。ここで、図3の縦軸は、送受信感度の最大値を基準としたときの感度(dB)を示し、横軸は周波数(MHz)を示す。
本実施形態では、バッキング170の熱伝導率を適切に高めることで、バッキング170の熱抵抗が8K/W以下になるようにし、同時に、バッキング170の厚みが上記最も低い周波数の超音波を10dB以上減衰させるような厚みとなるようにする。たとえば、バッキング170は、熱伝導率を高めるため、母材と熱伝導性フィラーとを含有することが好ましい。さらに、バッキング170の音響インピーダンスを調整し、超音波探触子100の送信感度を向上させるために中空粒子を含有することが好ましい。
(バッキングの作製)
主剤A(エポキシ樹脂)「Albidur EP2240:NANORESIN社製、「Albidur」は同社の登録商標である」80質量部と、硬化剤D(エポキシ樹脂硬化剤)「jERキュア ST−12:三菱ケミカル株式会社製、「jERキュア」は同社の登録商標である)24質量部とを混合し、次いで、熱伝導性フィラーF(炭化珪素粉末)「SSC−A15(平均粒子径19μm):信濃電気製錬株式会社製」150質量部と、フィラー複合粒子X(平均粒径215μm)125質量部とを加え、さらに混合して混合物1を得た。フィラー複合粒子Xは、液状シリコーンゴム(主剤)「TSE3032(A):モメンティブ・パフォーマンス・マテリアルズ社製」、液状シリコーンゴム(硬化剤)「TSE3032(B):モメンティブ・パフォーマンス・マテリアルズ社製」、酸化タングステン「C3−WO3:株式会社アライドマテリアル製」、球状炭化ケイ素「SSC−A30:信濃電気製錬株式会社製」を91:9:250:220(質量比)で混合したものである。
バッキングブロックの厚みを4.9mmにして、密度が2.1g/cm3、音響インピーダンスが2.5MRayls、減衰量が26.5dB/MHz、熱抵抗が8.0K/Wになるようにした以外は、実験1と同様にして、バッキングブロック2を得た。
実験1の主剤A(80質量部)を主剤B「jER828:三菱ケミカル株式会社製、「jER」は同社の登録商標である」68質量部に変更し、硬化剤D(24質量部)を硬化剤E「jERキュア113:三菱ケミカル株式会社製」25質量部に変更した。また、熱伝導性フィラーF(150質量部)を熱伝導性フィラーG「iGurafen−αS:株式会社アイテック製、「iGurafen」は同社の登録商標である」10質量部に、フィラー複合粒子X(125質量部)をフィラー複合粒子Y(平均粒径198μm)205質量部に変更した。また、中空粒子Z「Expancel 551DE40d42:AkzoNovel社製、「Expancel」は同社の登録商標である」0.4質量部を加えた。バッキングブロックの厚みを1.7mmにして、密度が1.8g/cm3、音響インピーダンスが2.3MRayls、減衰量が7.0dB/MHz、熱抵抗が0.6K/Wになるようにした以外は、実験1と同様にして、バッキングブロック3を得た。フィラー複合粒子Yは、液状シリコーンゴム(主剤)「TSE3032(A)(モメンティブ・パフォーマンス・マテリアルズ社製)」、液状シリコーンゴム(硬化剤)「TSE3032(B)(モメンティブ・パフォーマンス・マテリアルズ社製)」、酸化タングステン「C3−WO3(株式会社アライドマテリアル製)」、グラフェン「iGurafen−αS(株式会社アイテック製)」を91:9:420:53(質量比)で混合したものである。
バッキングブロックの厚みを22.1mmにして、密度が1.8g/cm3、音響インピーダンスが2.3MRayls、減衰量が90.6dB/MHz、熱抵抗が8.0K/Wになるようにした以外は、実験3と同様にして、バッキングブロック4を得た。
フィラー複合粒子X(125質量部)をフィラー複合粒子W(平均粒径116μm)380質量部に変更した。バッキングブロックの厚みを0.5mmにして、密度が2.6g/cm3、音響インピーダンスが2.7MRayls、減衰量が3.8dB/MHz、熱抵抗が8.0K/Wになるようにした以外は、実験1と同様にして、バッキングブロック5を得た。フィラー複合粒子Wは、液状シリコーンゴム(主剤)「TSE3032(A):モメンティブ・パフォーマンス・マテリアルズ社製」、液状シリコーンゴム(硬化剤)「TSE3032(B):モメンティブ・パフォーマンス・マテリアルズ社製」、酸化タングステン「C3−WO3:株式会社アライドマテリアル製」を91:9:730(質量比)で混合したものである。
図4は、超音波探触子100を備える超音波診断装置10の一例を示す模式図である。超音波診断装置10は、超音波探触子100、本体部11、コネクタ部12およびディスプレイ13を備える。

Claims (4)
- 超音波の送受信をするための圧電素子と、
前記圧電素子の背面側に配置された信号電極と、
前記信号電極の背面側に配置されたバッキングと、
を有する超音波探触子であって、
前記バッキングは、8K/W以下の熱抵抗を有し、
前記バッキングは、前記超音波探触子の送受信感度がその最大値から20dB低下する周波数のうち、最も低い周波数の超音波を、10dB以上減衰させる、
超音波探触子。 - 前記バッキングは、母材と熱伝導性フィラーとを含有する、請求項1に記載の超音波探触子。
- 前記バッキングは、さらに中空粒子を含有する、請求項1または請求項2に記載の超音波探触子。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の超音波探触子を有する超音波診断装置。
