Claims (7)
- 樹脂フィルム付きMEAと、前記樹脂フィルム付きMEAの両側に配置された金属セパレータとを備え、前記樹脂フィルム付きMEAは、電解質膜の両側に電極が設けられてなる電解質膜・電極構造体と、前記電解質膜・電極構造体の外周部に全周に亘って設けられた枠形状の樹脂フィルムとを有し、前記金属セパレータの一端から他端に向かって発電面に沿って反応ガスを流す反応ガス流路が形成され、前記樹脂フィルムに当接するとともに前記反応ガス流路を囲んで反応ガスの漏れを防止するビードシールが設けられ、前記反応ガスのバイパスを防止するために、前記ビードシールのうち前記金属セパレータの前記一端から前記他端に向かって延在する部分から前記反応ガス流路の流路幅方向の端部に向かって延出するとともに前記樹脂フィルムに向かって膨出成形されたバイパス止め凸状部が設けられた発電セルにおいて、
前記電極の、前記反応ガス流路の流路方向の少なくとも一方の端部の角部は、前記バイパス止め凸状部の頂部に重なる、
ことを特徴とする発電セル。 - 請求項1記載の発電セルにおいて、
前記反応ガス流路の流路方向に間隔を置いて前記バイパス止め凸状部が複数設けられ、
前記電極の前記角部は、前記複数のバイパス止め凸状部のうち、前記流路方向の一方の端部に位置するバイパス止め凸状部の頂部と重なる、
ことを特徴とする発電セル。 - 請求項1又は2記載の発電セルにおいて、
前記電極の、前記反応ガス流路の前記流路方向の両方向の端部の角部が、前記バイパス止め凸状部の頂部に重なる、
ことを特徴とする発電セル。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の発電セルにおいて、
前記バイパス止め凸状部は、前記反応ガス流路の前記流路幅方向の両側にそれぞれ設けられ、
前記電極の前記角部は、前記流路幅方向の両側で、前記バイパス止め凸状部の頂部に重なる、
ことを特徴とする発電セル。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の発電セルにおいて、
前記金属セパレータは、前記バイパス止め凸状部の前記頂部に隣接して、前記電極の外端面と対向する壁部を有する、
ことを特徴とする発電セル。 - 請求項5記載の発電セルにおいて、
前記壁部は、前記金属セパレータの厚さ方向に対して傾斜している、
ことを特徴とする発電セル。 - 請求項5又は6記載の発電セルにおいて、
前記金属セパレータは、前記壁部に隣接し且つ前記樹脂フィルムを支持する支持部を有する、
ことを特徴とする発電セル。
