Abstract
Description
ヘリカルギヤ7のギヤ歯7aに対して焼入れを行う場合、図1に示すように、支持部13にヘリカルギヤ7をセットする。そして、高周波電源3を駆動して、左導電板4及び右導電板5を介して左右加熱コイル11,12の左右導体部21,22に高周波電流を流す。また、回転移動部14は、支持部13を上下に移動及び回転させる。
本発明を実施した左右加熱コイル11,12を有する加熱装置2を用いて、ヘリカルギヤ7のギヤ歯7aに焼入れを行った。図8に、実施例の焼入れ後のヘリカルギヤ7を示す。
Claims (3)
- 円形状に形成され、中心軸に対して傾斜した方向に延びる凹凸部が外周面に形成されたワークの前記凹凸部を加熱する加熱コイルであって、
前記ワークの外側に設けられ、前記凹凸部の傾斜方向に直交する方向に延びるように形成され、前記凹凸部に前記加熱コイルの一部が対向する対向面と、前記凹凸部に対向しない非対向面とを有する導体部と、
前記導体部の前記非対向面を覆う第1磁性体と、
前記第1磁性体に連接して設けられ、前記非対向面と、前記対向面のうちの前記凹凸部に対向している部分の外側となる外側部とを覆う第2磁性体と、
を備えることを特徴とする加熱コイル。 - 請求項1に記載の加熱コイルにおいて、
前記第2磁性体は、前記対向面の前記外側部を覆う範囲が、前記第1磁性体から前記ワークの周方向に離れるにつれて大きくなるように形成されていることを特徴とする加熱コイル。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の加熱コイルにおいて、
前記導体部は、螺旋状に延び、且つ、前記対向面の周方向の曲率が前記ワークの外周面の曲率よりも小さいことを特徴とする加熱コイル。
