Abstract
Description
本発明の第1の実施の形態について、図1乃至図7を参照して説明する。なお、以下に説明する実施の形態は、本発明を実施する上での好適な具体例として示すものであり、技術的に好ましい種々の技術的事項を具体的に例示している部分もあるが、本発明の技術的範囲は、この具体的態様に限定されるものではない。
図2は、駆動力配分機構14の構成例を示す断面図である。図3は、図2の部分拡大図である。
クラッチ部2は、油圧ユニット3から供給される作動油(作動流体)の圧力によって動作する押圧部材としてのピストン20と、中間シャフト108と一体に回転するクラッチハブ21と、ドライブシャフト107Lと一体に回転するクラッチドラム22と、クラッチハブ21とクラッチドラム22との間に配置された多板クラッチ23と、ピストン20と多板クラッチ23との間に配置されたプレッシャプレート24及びスラストころ軸受25と、クラッチハブ21とプレッシャプレート24との間に配置されたリターンスプリング26とを有している。クラッチハブ21及びクラッチドラム22は、回転軸線Oを共有しており、同一回転軸線上で相対回転可能である。
図6は、駆動力伝達装置1のクラッチ部2、油圧ユニット3、及び制御部4を模式的に示す構成図である。油圧ユニット3は、供給される電流に応じたトルクを発生する電動モータ31と、電動モータ31によって駆動される油圧ポンプ32と、油圧ポンプ32から吐出された作動油の一部をリザーバ33に還流させる固定絞り弁34とを有している。電動モータ31と油圧ポンプ32とは、連結軸311によって連結されている。電動モータ31は、例えば三相ブラシレスDCモータであるが、電動モータ31としてブラシ付きのDCモータを用いてもよい。また、シリンダ室140に供給される油圧を調整する他の実施形態として、油圧ポンプ32から一定量の作動油を吐出させ、固定絞り弁34に替えて電磁可変絞り弁を油圧ポンプ32と作動油供給孔141との間に設置し、この電磁可変絞り弁によってシリンダ室140に供給される油圧を調整してもよい。さらに、他の実施形態として、電磁可変絞り弁に替えて電磁リリーフ弁を設置してもよい。
以上説明した本発明の第1の実施の形態によれば、二輪駆動状態から四輪駆動状態への切り替えが必要となる可能性が高い所定の条件が満たされたとき、制御部4がアクチュエータ30を制御してピストン20を予備的に初期位置よりも多板クラッチ23側に所定量変位させるので、二輪駆動状態から四輪駆動状態への切り替えが必要となった際に、ピストン20を初期位置から移動させる場合よりも速やかに駆動状態の切り替えを行うことが可能となる。
次に、図8乃至図11を参照して本発明の第2の実施の形態について説明する。本実施の形態では、四輪駆動車100の駆動力伝達系101の構成、及び駆動力伝達装置1Aの構成が、第1の実施の形態と異なる。
以上、本発明を第1及び第2の実施の形態に基づいて説明したが、これらの実施の形態は特許請求の範囲に係る発明を限定するものではない。また、実施の形態の中で説明した特徴の組合せの全てが発明の課題を解決するための手段に必須であるとは限らない点に留意すべきである。

Claims (3)
- 駆動源の駆動力が主駆動輪及び補助駆動輪に伝達される四輪駆動状態と前記駆動力が前記主駆動輪のみに伝達される二輪駆動状態とを切り替え可能な四輪駆動車に搭載され、前記補助駆動輪に伝達される駆動力を調節可能な駆動力伝達装置であって、
複数のクラッチプレートを軸方向に配置してなる多板クラッチと、
前記多板クラッチを軸方向に押圧する押圧部材と、
前記押圧部材を軸方向移動させるアクチュエータと、
前記アクチュエータを制御する制御部とを備え、
前記制御部は、前記四輪駆動車の前記二輪駆動状態時に前記四輪駆動状態への切り替えが必要となる可能性が高い所定の条件が満たされたとき、前記アクチュエータを制御して前記押圧部材を初期位置よりも前記多板クラッチ側に所定量変位させる、
駆動力伝達装置。 - 前記所定の条件は、路面の摩擦係数の推定値が所定値よりも小さいこと、路面の勾配が所定値よりも高いこと、外気温が所定値よりも低いことの少なくとも何れかを含む、
請求項1に記載の駆動力伝達装置。 - 前記四輪駆動車は、運転者の操作により、駆動状態を前記二輪駆動状態に固定する第1モード、駆動状態を前記四輪駆動状態に固定する第2モード、及び走行状態に応じて前記二輪駆動状態と前記四輪駆動状態とを自動的に切り替える第3モードを選択可能であり、
前記所定の条件として、前記第3モードが選択された場合に、前記アクチュエータを制御して前記押圧部材を初期位置よりも前記多板クラッチ側に変位させる、
請求項1又は2に記載の駆動力伝達装置。
