また、第6の発明は、前記第1の発明乃至第5の発明の何れか1つに記載の四輪駆動車両の制御装置において、前記クラッチ制御部は、前記クラッチにおける係合力の制御時の係合力を連続的乃至段階的に高くし、前記駆動力伝達軸の回転速度が上昇開始したときの係合力よりも所定値分低い係合力を保持することにある。このようにすれば、前記駆動力伝達軸の回転速度の連続的な上昇が開始させられる前の状態に前記駆動力伝達軸が適切に維持される。
また、第7の発明は、前記第6の発明に記載の四輪駆動車両の制御装置において、前記クラッチ制御部は、前記所定値分低い係合力を、次回の前記クラッチにおける係合力の制御開始時の係合力とすることにある。このようにすれば、前記駆動力伝達軸の回転速度の連続的な上昇が開始させられる前の状態に前記駆動力伝達軸が速やかに維持される。

Claims (7)
- 主駆動輪へ伝達される駆動力源の動力の一部を四輪駆動走行中に副駆動輪へ伝達する駆動力伝達軸と、前記駆動力伝達軸の前記駆動力源側と前記副駆動輪側とに各々設けられた、前記駆動力源と前記副駆動輪との間の動力伝達経路を断接する2つの断接機構とを備え、前記2つの断接機構のうちの一方は、相対する回転部材を有して前記相対する回転部材の回転速度を同期させる過程での係合力が制御されるクラッチである四輪駆動車両の、制御装置であって、
前記2つの断接機構を共に解放して走行する二輪駆動走行中に、前記2つの断接機構を共に係合して走行する前記四輪駆動走行へ移行するか否かを判断する四輪駆動移行判定部と、
前記四輪駆動移行判定部により前記四輪駆動走行への移行が未だ判断されていないときには、前記四輪駆動車両が所定走行状態であるか否かを判断する走行状態判定部と、
前記走行状態判定部により前記四輪駆動車両が前記所定走行状態であると判断された場合には、前記クラッチにおける係合力を、前記駆動力伝達軸の回転速度の連続的な上昇が開始させられる前の状態に前記駆動力伝達軸を維持する係合力に制御するクラッチ制御部とを、含み、
前記走行状態判定部は、前記二輪駆動走行中に、前記主駆動輪と前記副駆動輪との間に所定車輪速度差が生じると予測したときには、或いはアンダーステア状態かオーバーステア状態かの何れかが発生すると予測したときには、前記四輪駆動車両が前記所定走行状態であると判断することを特徴とする四輪駆動車両の制御装置。 - 前記走行状態判定部は、低μ路、登坂路、及び操舵の状態のうちの少なくとも1つに基づいて、前記所定車輪速度差が生じるか否かを予測するか、或いは前記アンダーステア状態か前記オーバーステア状態かの何れかが発生するか否かを予測することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の四輪駆動車両の制御装置。
- 前記四輪駆動移行判定部は、前記二輪駆動走行中に、前記主駆動輪と前記副駆動輪との間に所定車輪速度差が生じたか否かを判断するか、或いはアンダーステア状態かオーバーステア状態かの何れかが発生したか否かを判断することで、前記四輪駆動走行へ移行するか否かを判断するものであり、
前記クラッチ制御部は、前記四輪駆動移行判定部により前記四輪駆動走行への移行が判断された場合には、前記クラッチにおける係合力の制御時の係合力を前記クラッチの係合に向けて増大することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の四輪駆動車両の制御装置。 - 主駆動輪へ伝達される駆動力源の動力の一部を四輪駆動走行中に副駆動輪へ伝達する駆動力伝達軸と、前記駆動力伝達軸の前記駆動力源側と前記副駆動輪側とに各々設けられた、前記駆動力源と前記副駆動輪との間の動力伝達経路を断接する2つの断接機構と、前記駆動力源と前記主駆動輪との間の動力伝達経路に設けられた自動変速機とを備え、前記2つの断接機構のうちの一方は、相対する回転部材を有して前記相対する回転部材の回転速度を同期させる過程での係合力が制御されるクラッチである四輪駆動車両の、制御装置であって、
前記2つの断接機構を共に解放して走行する二輪駆動走行中に、前記2つの断接機構を共に係合して走行する前記四輪駆動走行へ移行するか否かを判断する四輪駆動移行判定部と、
前記四輪駆動移行判定部により前記四輪駆動走行への移行が未だ判断されていないときには、前記四輪駆動車両が所定走行状態であるか否かを判断する走行状態判定部と、
前記走行状態判定部により前記四輪駆動車両が前記所定走行状態であると判断された場合には、前記クラッチにおける係合力を、前記駆動力伝達軸の回転速度の連続的な上昇が開始させられる前の状態に前記駆動力伝達軸を維持する係合力に制御するクラッチ制御部とを、含み、
前記走行状態判定部は、前記二輪駆動走行中に、前記自動変速機を手動変速する為の手動変速装置が運転者によって操作されたときには、或いは所定のノーマルモードと比較して前記自動変速機の高車速側のギヤ比が選択され易い所定のスノーモードを選択する為のモード選択装置が運転者によって操作されて前記スノーモードが選択されたときには、前記四輪駆動車両が前記所定走行状態であると判断することを特徴とする四輪駆動車両の制御装置。 - 前記四輪駆動移行判定部は、前記二輪駆動走行中に、前記運転者によって前記操作が為されたことで前記走行状態判定部により前記四輪駆動車両が前記所定走行状態であると判断された場合には、前記自動変速機の変速が開始されたか否かを判断することで、前記四輪駆動走行へ移行するか否かを判断するものであり、
前記クラッチ制御部は、前記四輪駆動移行判定部により前記自動変速機の変速が開始されたと判断されたことで前記四輪駆動走行への移行が判断された場合には、前記クラッチにおける係合力の制御時の係合力を前記クラッチの係合に向けて増大することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の四輪駆動車両の制御装置。 - 前記クラッチ制御部は、前記クラッチにおける係合力の制御時の係合力を連続的乃至段階的に高くし、前記駆動力伝達軸の回転速度が上昇開始したときの係合力よりも所定値分低い係合力を保持することを特徴とする請求項1乃至5の何れか1項に記載の四輪駆動車両の制御装置。
- 前記クラッチ制御部は、前記所定値分低い係合力を、次回の前記クラッチにおける係合力の制御開始時の係合力とすることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の四輪駆動車両の制御装置。
