Description
本開示は、2015年6月31日にインド特許庁に出願した「BI-STABLE DISPLAY」という名称の仮出願第3958/CHE/2015号、2015年6月31日にインド特許庁に出願した「KEYBOARD WITH DISPLAY EMBEDDED KEYS AND DEVICE TO SENSE BIO-SIGNALS」という名称の仮出願第3961/CHE/2015号、2015年6月31日にインド特許庁に出願した「"KEYCAP WITH ACTIVE ELEMENTS」という名称の仮出願第3959/CHE/2015号に関連し、これらは参照によってその全体が本開示に組み込まれる。
本開示は、一般に電子デバイスの分野に関し、より具体的には、能動素子(active element)を有するキーキャップに関する。
図1Aは、本開示の一実施形態による電子デバイス100の実施形態を示す簡略化された概略図である。電子デバイス100は、第1ハウジング102及び第2ハウジング104aを含むことができる。第2ハウジング104aは、キーボード部分106を含むことができる。キーボード部分106は複数のキー108を含むことができ、各キー108はキーキャップ110を含むことができる。1つ以上の実施形態において、電子デバイス100は、キーを含むコンピュータ、デスクトップコンピュータ、キーを含むモバイルデバイス、キーを含むタブレットデバイス、キーを含むPhablet(登録商標)、キーを含むパーソナルデジタルアシスタント(PDA)、キーを含むオーディオシステム、キーを含む任意のタイプのムービープレイヤ等のように、キーボード又はキーを有する任意の適切な電子デバイスであってよい。
例A1は、1つ以上の露出エリアを含むマスクと、上部電極と、1つ以上の下部電極と、上部電極と1つ以上の下部電極との間の誘電体と、上部電極と1つ以上の下部電極との間に差動電圧を生成する電気接続とを備える、ディスプレイである。
Claims (20)
- 1つ以上の露出エリアを含むマスクと;
上部電極と;
1つ以上の下部電極と;
前記上部電極と前記1つ以上の下部電極との間の誘電体と;
前記上部電極と前記1つ以上の下部電極との間に差動電圧を生成する電気接続と;
を備える、ディスプレイ。 - 前記誘電体の材料の色は、異なる電圧が印加されると変化する、
請求項1に記載のディスプレイ。 - 前記ディスプレイが双安定ディスプレイである、
請求項1に記載のディスプレイ。 - 前記マスク、前記上部電極、前記1つ以上の下部電極及び前記誘電体の厚さは、約3ミリメートル未満である、
請求項1に記載のディスプレイ。 - 前記電気接続は能動エリア内にある、
請求項1に記載のディスプレイ。 - 前記1つ以上の下部電極の各々は、前記1つ以上の露出エリアからある露出エリアに対応する、
