Abstract
Description
本発明の前記目的に関して、長鎖カルボン酸はC13〜C22である。
本発明において有用な長鎖モノカルボン酸と短もしくは中分岐鎖モノカルボン酸から誘導される前記有機金属塩組成物は、それらの一般化された調製経路およびそれらの構造の特定の共通した態様の両方によって特徴づけることができる。
〔実施例1:本発明による修飾された有機金属塩の調製〕
本発明の前記修飾有機金属塩は、金属塩、好ましくは金属炭酸塩であって、前記金属が銅である金属塩を、脂肪酸と、好ましくはオレイン酸と反応させて、前記金属カルボン酸塩の前記金属含有量が8〜9重量%の前記範囲内の前記最終塩の金属濃度を提供するようにし、その後、分岐短または中鎖モノカルボン酸を前記金属カルボン酸塩に添加することによって調製することができる。前記炭酸銅および前記オレイン酸を無酸素環境中で16時間150℃にて反応させる。前記反応後、2−エチルヘキサン酸を前記オレイン酸銅に前記混合物の前記総質量の7.5%の割合で添加する。この結果、室温で液体であり、10℃の融点を有する銅系有機金属塩組成物が得られ、その一方で、前記分岐短または中鎖モノカルボン酸を含まない8〜9%の前記範囲内の金属含有量を有するオレイン酸銅は55℃の融点を有する。前記融解温度を視覚的に測定した。前記金属含有量をMP−AESでの分析によって検証した。
2−エチルヘキサン酸を前記修飾有機金属塩の前記総質量の11.25%の量で、8〜9%の前記範囲内の金属含有量を有するオレイン酸銅に添加することによって本発明にしたがって修飾有機金属塩を調製した。11.25%の2−エチルヘキサン酸の前記添加によって前記修飾有機金属塩の前記融解温度が4℃まで低下し、その一方で、7.5%の2−エチルヘキサン酸を含有する実施例1の修飾有機金属塩は10℃の融点を有し、オレイン酸銅のみからなる有機金属塩は55℃の融点を有する。前記融解温度を視覚的に測定した。
前記修飾有機金属塩の前記総質量の15%の量で2−エチルヘキサン酸を、8〜9%の前記範囲内の金属含有量を有するオレイン酸銅に添加することによって、修飾有機金属塩を本発明にしたがって調製した。15%の2−エチルヘキサン酸の前記添加によって、前記修飾有機金属塩の前記融解温度が低下して0℃より低くなり、一方、11.25%の2−エチルヘキサン酸を含む実施例2の修飾有機金属塩は4℃の融点を有し、7.5%の2−エチルヘキサン酸を含む実施例1の修飾有機金属塩は10℃の融点を有し、オレイン酸銅のみからなる有機金属塩は55℃の融点を有する。前記融解温度を視覚的に測定した。
分岐短または中鎖モノカルボン酸の前記金属含有量および前記含有量がどのように前記修飾有機金属塩の前記融解温度に影響を及ぼすかを判定するために、2〜9%の前記範囲内の金属含有量および1〜10%の前記範囲内の2−エチルヘキサン酸を有するオレイン酸銅を含有する本発明による修飾有機金属塩を調製した。前記融解温度を視覚的に測定し、表1に記載する。前記金属含有量をMP−AESでの分析によって検証した。
金属カルボン酸塩は、金属炭酸塩をオレイン酸と真空下、150℃で16時間反応させることによって調製した。使用した前記金属炭酸塩は次炭酸ビスマスおよび炭酸コバルトであった。前記金属オレイン酸塩の重量基準の前記金属含有量は5〜10%であった。前記有機金属塩の前記融解温度が0℃以下に達するまで、2−エチルヘキサン酸を前記有機金属塩の総質量の5%、10%および15%で添加した。前記融解温度を表2に記載する。
実施例1、2および3で調製した本発明の銅系修飾有機金属塩をII群基油に0.3〜3.0%の前記範囲の濃度でブレンドした。14週間前記サンプルを追跡することによって溶解度を視覚的に測定した。前記結果を表3で提示する。前記修飾有機金属塩は、前記サンプルの相分離または不透明性が観察されない場合は可溶性とみなした。
実施例1、2および3で調製した本発明の銅系修飾有機金属塩をIII群基油に0.3%〜3%の前記範囲の濃度でブレンドした。前記サンプルを12週間追跡することによって溶解度を視覚的に測定した。前記結果を表4に提示する。前記修飾有機金属塩は、前記サンプルの相分離または不透明性が観察されない場合は可溶性であるとみなした。
実施例1、2および3で調製した本発明の銅系修飾有機金属塩をII群基油中に0.3〜3.0%の前記範囲内の濃度でブレンドした。前記サンプルを14週間追跡することによって溶解度を視覚的に測定した。前記結果を表5に提示する。前記修飾有機金属塩は、前記サンプルの相分離または不透明性が観察されない場合は可溶性とみなした。
周囲温度よりも低い融解温度を有する分岐長鎖カルボン酸を含む修飾有機金属塩が得られる前記可能性を調査するために、前記修飾有機金属塩の前記総質量の1〜7%、10%および15%の量でイソステアリン酸を、8〜9%の前記範囲内の金属含有量を有するオレイン酸銅に添加することによって、修飾有機金属塩を調製した。前記イソステアリン酸を激しく混合しながら60℃に加熱したオレイン酸銅に添加した。前記サンプルを15分間撹拌して確実に均一にした。前記サンプルは、前記サンプルの前記温度が周囲温度に達すると凝固した。
前記有機金属塩組成物の前記トライボロジー効果をボール・オン・スリー・プレートシステムでのトライボロジー試験で実証した。本発明の有機金属塩組成物は、オレイン酸銅を8重量%の2−エチルヘキサン酸と60〜70℃で激しく混合しながら混合することによって調製した。前記組成物をChevron Taro 30 DP 40に0.3%、1%および3%の濃度で添加し、15分間撹拌しながら60〜70℃に加熱した。前記均質油混合物を周囲条件で冷却させた。Anton Paar回転式レオメータを使用したトライボロジー測定によって前記サンプルを試験した。

ならし運転期間 1200rpm、30分
Striebeck相 0〜3000rpm、10分
ボール・オン・スリー・プレートシステムでのトライボロジー試験において前記潤滑油添加剤組成物の前記トライボロジー効果を示すために、活性複合体を還元性付加物に添加した。本発明の組成物は、国際出願第PCT/EP2015/060811号明細書に記載されている活性複合体を実施例9で調製した前記有機金属塩組成物に2.35重量%の割合で60〜70℃での激しい混合下で添加することによって調製した。本発明の前記組成物をChevron Taro 30 DP 40に0.3%、1%および3%の濃度で添加し、撹拌下で60〜70℃に15分間加熱した。前記均質油混合物を周囲条件で冷却させた。実施例9で記載した前記条件にしたがってAnton Paar回転式レオメータを使用したトライボロジー測定により前記サンプルを試験した。前記結果を表8および表9に提示する。
a)銅に基づく有機金属塩組成物
前記活性複合体の前記調製は3工程プロセスを含む。
本発明による修飾された有機金属塩は、炭酸コバルトをオレイン酸と反応させて、前記金属カルボン酸塩の前記金属含有量が8〜9重量%の前記範囲内の前記最終塩の金属濃度となるようにし、その後、2−エチルヘキサン酸を前記金属カルボン酸塩に添加することによって調製する。炭酸コバルト六水和物およびオレイン酸を無酸素環境中で16時間、150℃にて反応させる。前記反応後、2−エチルヘキサン酸を前記混合物の前記総質量の10%の割合で前記オレイン酸コバルトに添加する。この結果、室温で液体であり、15℃の融点を有するコバルト系有機金属塩組成物を得る。前記融点を視覚的に測定した。前記金属含有量をMP−AESでの分析によって検証した。
Claims (17)
- 少なくとも一つのC13〜C22モノカルボン酸の一つの金属の塩と、
少なくとも一つのC4〜C12分岐鎖モノカルボン酸と、を含む有機金属塩組成物であって、
炭化水素油I、II、IIIおよびIV群のすべてにおいて0.1重量%を超える炭化水素油中溶解度を有する有機金属塩組成物。 - I、II、IIIおよびIV群炭化水素油中の溶解度が0.5重量%を超える請求項1に記載の有機金属塩組成物。
- 前記少なくとも一つの飽和分岐鎖が、メチルまたはエチルである少なくとも一つの分岐アルキル基を含む請求項1に記載の有機金属塩組成物。
- 前記少なくとも一つの飽和短または中分岐鎖モノカルボン酸が2−エチルヘキサン酸である請求項3に記載の有機金属塩組成物。
- 長鎖カルボン酸がオレイン酸である請求項1に記載の有機金属塩組成物。
- 前記少なくとも一つの長鎖カルボン酸の金属塩がオレイン酸銅である請求項1に記載の有機金属塩組成物。
- 有機金属塩が18〜24℃の前記範囲内の温度で少なくとも一週間、前記炭化水素油中に可溶性である請求項1に記載の有機金属塩組成物。
- II、IIIおよびIV群基油において炭化水素油の有機金属塩組成物に対する比が100:1〜200:1で前記炭化水素油中に可溶性である請求項1に記載の有機金属塩組成物。
- 長鎖カルボン酸を、炭酸銀、炭酸金、炭酸パラジウム、炭酸銅、炭酸コバルト、炭酸鉛、炭酸スズ、炭酸ビスマス、炭酸モリブデン、炭酸チタン、炭酸タングステンおよび炭酸ニッケルからなる群から選択される金属炭酸塩と反応させるステップと、
塩組成物の総質量の2〜20重量%の前記範囲内の重量で短もしくは中分岐鎖モノカルボン酸を添加するステップと、を含む有機金属塩組成物を調製するための方法。 - 前記金属炭酸塩が銅または炭酸コバルトを含む請求項9に記載の方法。
- カルボン酸の炭酸塩反応物質の金属に対するモル比が1:1〜20:1の前記範囲内である請求項9または10に記載の方法。
- 有機金属塩を約60℃まで加熱し、前記短もしくは中分岐鎖モノカルボン酸を激しく混合しながら添加する請求項9〜11の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記有機金属塩組成物を作製するための有機金属塩および飽和短または中分岐鎖モノカルボン酸の重量比が5:1〜50:1である請求項9〜12の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 任意にさらなる添加剤成分と組み合わせた、請求項1に記載の前記有機金属塩組成物を含む潤滑油添加剤組成物。
- 第一金属成分および第二金属成分と、
前記第一金属成分および任意に前記第二金属成分を含む粒子と、を含む活性複合体をさらに含む請求項14に記載の潤滑油添加剤組成物。 - 前記潤滑油添加剤組成物が、0.1重量%を超えるI、II、IIIまたはIV群炭化水素油中の溶解度を有する請求項14または15に記載の潤滑油添加剤組成物。
- 潤滑された面の摩擦および摩耗を低減するための請求項1〜8および14〜16の少なくとも一項に記載の組成物の使用。
