Abstract
Description
x=0.02且つy=0.4とした15.4wt%の(Lu(1−x),Cex)3(Al(1−y),Gay)5O12を、1wt%のシリカとともに、シリコーン中に混ぜることによって、蛍光体スラリーを作製した(重量分率は全て、マトリクス材料のシリコーン質量に対して計算されている)。このスラリーを、455.5nmの主波長の青色発光LEDを備えたミッドパワー3535Lパッケージをスラリーでディスペンスするのに用いたところ、図3cに示す色点(青色顔料なし:丸)に到達した。同じスラリーに、0.28wt%の、BASF社からのSicopal Blauを付加し、青色顔料なしのものと同様にLEDを作製した(青色顔料あり:三角)。結果として得られたこの色点も図3cに示されている。積分球を用いて測定した100mAのLED電流での平均光束値を表1に示す。
ここでは、458nmという長めの主波長を有する次の青色ビンの青色波長を、顔料なしの同じ蛍光体スラリーとともに使用した。0.24wt%のSicopal Blauを有する別の同じ蛍光体スラリーを作製し、458nmの青色主波長を持つLEDをディスペンスした。平均の色点を図3dに示している。x=0.166のx色座標において、ここでは、表2に示されるように、蛍光体懸濁液中の青色顔料の塗布で、青色域内の光束が26パーセント増大している。同一のx色座標のLEDを比較した。
Claims (15)
- 青色LEDパッケージ光を生成するように構成されたLEDパッケージであって、
青色光源光を生成するように構成されたソリッドステート光源と、
前記光源光の一部を、緑色光を有するルミネセント材料光へと変換するように構成されたルミネセント材料と、
前記ルミネセント材料光の一部を吸収するように構成された青色顔料と、
を有するLEDパッケージ。 - 前記青色LEDパッケージ光のCIE座標は、x−CIE座標について0.091−0.175の範囲内にあり、y−CIE座標について0.025−0.183の範囲内にある、請求項1に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 前記青色LEDパッケージ光のCIE座標は、(0.091,0.133)、(0.149,0.025)、(0.175,0.098)及び(0.174,0.183)によって画成されるCIE図の部分内にあり、且つ前記青色LEDパッケージ光のx−CIE座標は最大で0.175であり、前記青色LEDパッケージ光のy−CIE座標は最小で0.140である、請求項1又は2に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 前記ソリッドステート光源は、450−465nmの範囲内にピーク波長を持つ青色光源光を生成するように構成されている、請求項1乃至3の何れか一項に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 前記ルミネセント材料は、490−530nmの範囲から選択されたピーク波長を持ち且つ50−150nmの範囲から選択された半値全幅(FWHM)を持つルミネセント材料光を提供するように構成されている、請求項1乃至4の何れか一項に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 前記ルミネセント材料は、セリウムドープされたガーネットを有する、請求項1乃至5の何れか一項に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 前記ルミネセント材料は、0.005≦x≦0.08、且つ0≦y≦0.7として、(Lu(1−x),Cex)3(Al(1−y),Gay)5O12を有する、請求項1乃至6の何れか一項に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 前記ルミネセント材料は、(a)Si(6−x)AlxOyN(6−y):Eu、ただし、0<x≦4.2、0<y≦4.2(ベータサイアロン)、(b)ユーロピウムでドープされたアルカリ土類金属オルトシリケート、(c)BaMgAl10O17:Eu,Mn、(d)BaMg2Al16O27:Eu,Mn、及び(e)Sr4Al14O25:Eu、のうちの1つ以上を有する、請求項1乃至7の何れか一項に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 前記青色顔料は、42000−45000の範囲から選択されたカラーインデックス国際番号を持つ有機色素を有する、請求項1乃至8の何れか一項に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 前記青色顔料はフタロシアニンを有する、請求項1乃至9の何れか一項に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 前記青色顔料は、(a)MAl2O4、ただし、Mは、Co、Ni、Mg、Cu及びZnのうちの1つ以上を有し、Mは少なくともCoを含む、(b)NaxAl6Si6O24Sy、ただし、6≦x≦8、且つ2≦y≦4、のうちの1つ以上を有する、請求項1乃至10の何れか一項に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 当該LEDパッケージは、前記ルミネセント材料を有する第1の層と、前記青色顔料を有する第2の層とを有し、
前記ソリッドステート光源に対して、前記第2の層が前記第1の層の下流に配置されている、
請求項1乃至11の何れか一項に記載のLEDパッケージ。 - 前記ルミネセント材料と前記青色顔料とを有する第1の層、を有する請求項1乃至12の何れか一項に記載のLEDパッケージ。
- 請求項1乃至13の何れか一項に記載のLEDパッケージと、制御ユニットと、(a)光学系及び(b)更なる光源のうちの1つ以上と、を有する照明装置であって、
前記制御ユニットは、前記LEDパッケージと、オプションの前記更なる光源とを制御するように構成されている、照明装置。 - 青色非常用照明を提供するため又は装飾照明を提供するための、請求項1乃至13の何れか一項に記載のLEDパッケージ又は請求項14に記載の照明装置の使用。
