Abstract
Description
本出願は、2015年2月11日に出願された欧州特許出願公開第15154654.6号からの優先権を主張するものであり、この出願の全ての内容は、あらゆる目的のために参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
−(CFX1−CX2X3)−一般式(1)
(式中、X1、X2及びX3は、それぞれ水素原子、フッ素原子、及び1〜3個の炭素原子を有するパーフルオロアルキル基のうちのいずれかを表す)。
更に、ポリマーは−(CFX1−CX2X3)−で表されるモノマーと、前者のモノマー以外の共重合可能なモノマーとの共重合によって製造されるポリマーの場合がある。特には次のものが記述されている:クロロトリフルオロエチレンとテトラフルオロエチレンとアクリル酸とのコポリマー(AA/TFE/CTFE)、及びエチレンとクロロトリフルオロエチレンとアクリル酸とのコポリマー(AA/CTFE/E)。
コアと、−(CFX1−CX2X3)−によって表される繰り返し単位を有するポリマーのシェルとを有する水性ポリマー分散液(ポリマーラテックス)が好ましい。
(a)51モル%〜65モル%のクロロトリフルオロエチレン(CTFE)及び/又はテトラフルオロエチレン(TFE)由来の繰り返し単位;
(b)0.5モル%〜10モル%のアクリル酸(AA)由来の繰り返し単位;並びに
(c)繰り返し単位(a)、(b)、及び(c)のパーセンテージの合計が100モル%になるような量での、31モル%〜45モル%のエチレン(E)由来の繰り返し単位;
から本質的になるポリマー[ポリマー(P)]であって、上述したモルパーセンテージは前記ポリマー(P)の繰り返し単位の総モル数基準である、ポリマー(P)に関する。
− 少なくとも1つの表面[表面(S)]を有する基材と、
− 前記表面(S)に直接接着している少なくとも1つの層[層(L1)]であって上で定義した通りのポリマー(P)を含む前記層(L1)と、
を含む物品に関する。
(a)58モル%〜60モル%の、クロロトリフルオロエチレン(CTFE)由来の繰り返し単位;
(b)1モル%〜9モル%の、アクリル酸(AA)由来の繰り返し単位;及び
(c)31モル%〜41モル%の、エチレン(E)由来の繰り返し単位;
からなり、上述したモルパーセンテージは前記ポリマー(P)の繰り返し単位の総モル数基準である。
(a)58モル%〜60モル%の、クロロトリフルオロエチレン(CTFE)由来の繰り返し単位;
(b)1.2モル%〜8.5モル%の、アクリル酸(AA)由来の繰り返し単位;及び
(c)31.5モル%〜40.8モル%の、エチレン(E)由来の繰り返し単位;
からなり、上述したモルパーセンテージは前記ポリマー(P)の繰り返し単位の総モル数基準である。
(I)少なくとも1つの表面(S)を有する基材を準備する工程;
(II)前記表面(S)に直接接着している少なくとも1つの層(L1)であって上で定義したポリマー(P)を含む前記層(L1)を製造する工程;
を含む方法によって得ることができる。
クロロホルムはSigma−Aldrich Corp.から購入した。
185.7℃の融点(Tm)、18J/gの融解熱(ΔH2f)、及び3g/10分のMFI(225℃/2.16Kgで測定)を有するポリマー(P−1)エチレン/クロロトリフルオロエチレン/アクリル酸(E/CTFE/AA)36.2/59/4.8ターポリマーは、次の通りに合成した。
− ポリマー(P−2):モル含有量が39.6/59/1.4でありTmが180.8℃である乾燥粉末形態のE/CTFE/AAターポリマー;
− ポリマー(P−3):モル含有量が32.7/59/8.3でありTmが181.8℃である乾燥粉末形態のE/CTFE/AAターポリマー;
邪魔板を備えた600rpmで撹拌するエナメル引きオートクレーブに、3リットルの脱塩水と、60gのクロロホルムと、20mlのヒドロキシプロピルアクリレート(HPA)(50容積%)及び水(50容積%)の溶液と、7Kgのクロロトリフルオロエチレンとを導入した。
邪魔板を備えた600rpmで撹拌するエナメル引きオートクレーブに、3リットルの脱塩水と、105gのクロロホルムと、12mlのヒドロキシエチルアクリレート(HEA)(25容積%)及び水(75容積%)の溶液と、7Kgのクロロトリフルオロエチレンとを導入した。
ポリマー基材又は金属基材と、前記基材に接着しているポリマー(P−1)、(P−2)、(P−3)を含む層とを含む本発明の多層物品は、以降に開示の通りに作製した。
厚さ300ミクロンの成形したPA612のプラークと、上に開示した通りに得たポリマー(P−1)のプラークを、240℃で5分間予熱した枠(大きさ130×130×0.6mm)中で重ね合わせた。プラークは、75barの圧力下で240℃で4分間成形した。その後、冷水プレート中で急速冷却を行った。
厚さ300ミクロンの銅のプラークを最初にアセトンで洗浄し、次いで上に開示の通りに得た厚さ1.5mmのポリマー(P−2)の成形したプラークの上に、225℃で5分間予熱した枠(大きさ130×80×1.5mm)の中で重ね合わせた。成形工程は80barの圧力下、225℃で4分間行った。その後、冷水プレート中で急速冷却を行った。
亜鉛メッキ鋼試験片(15×15cm)の表面をサンドブラスト処理(16メッシュの砂を使用)し、アンモニアで洗浄した。
5a−ポリマー基材を含む多層物品の接着性
上で開示した実施例4aで得た多層物品の接着性は、23℃、50%R.H(相対湿度)でASTM D1876に従って行われる剥離試験によって評価した。

上で開示した実施例4cで得た多層物品の接着性は、23℃、50%R.H(相対湿度)でASTM D1876に従って行われる剥離試験によって評価した。この試験は、多層物品を製造して数時間後に行った(t=0)。
本発明のECTFEコポリマーと、50重量%のCTFEを含むECTFEコポリマーの光学特性を、instrument BYKのスペクトロガイドD45 10°を使用して測定した。
Claims (15)
- (a)51モル%〜65モル%の、クロロトリフルオロエチレン(CTFE)及び/又はテトラフルオロエチレン(TFE)由来の繰り返し単位;
(b)0.5モル%〜10モル%の、アクリル酸(AA)由来の繰り返し単位;並びに
(c)前記繰り返し単位(a)、(b)、及び(c)のパーセンテージの合計が100モル%になるような量での、31モル%〜45モル%の、エチレン(E)由来の繰り返し単位;
から本質的になるポリマー[ポリマー(P)]であって、
上述したモルパーセンテージは前記ポリマー(P)の繰り返し単位の総モル数基準である、ポリマー(P)。 - クロロトリフルオロエチレン(CTFE)及び/又はテトラフルオロエチレン(TFE)由来の前記繰り返し単位が、前記ポリマー(P)の繰り返し単位の総モル数基準で53モル%〜62モル%の量である、請求項1に記載のポリマー(P)。
- クロロトリフルオロエチレン(CTFE)及び/又はテトラフルオロエチレン(TFE)由来の前記繰り返し単位が、前記ポリマー(P)の繰り返し単位の総モル数基準で54モル%〜60モル%の量である、請求項2に記載のポリマー(P)。
- アクリル酸(AA)由来の前記繰り返し単位が、前記ポリマー(P)の繰り返し単位の総モル数基準で0.5モル%〜9モル%の量である、請求項1に記載のポリマー(P)。
- アクリル酸(AA)由来の前記繰り返し単位が、前記ポリマー(P)の繰り返し単位の総モル数基準で1モル%〜9モル%の量である、請求項3に記載のポリマー(P)。
- (a)58モル%〜60モル%の、クロロトリフルオロエチレン(CTFE)由来の繰り返し単位;
(b)1モル%〜9モル%の、アクリル酸(AA)由来の繰り返し単位;及び
(c)31モル%〜41モル%の、エチレン(E)由来の繰り返し単位;
からなるポリマー(P)であって、
上述したモルパーセンテージは前記ポリマー(P)の繰り返し単位の総モル数基準である、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のポリマー(P)。 - (a)58モル%〜60モル%の、クロロトリフルオロエチレン(CTFE)由来の繰り返し単位;
(b)1.2モル%〜8.5モル%の、アクリル酸(AA)由来の繰り返し単位;及び
(c)31.5モル%〜40.8モル%の、エチレン(E)由来の繰り返し単位;
からなるポリマー(P)であって、上述したモルパーセンテージは前記ポリマー(P)の繰り返し単位の総モル数基準である、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のポリマー(P)。 - 請求項1〜7のいずれか1項で定義されるポリマー(P)の製造方法であって、アクリル酸(AA)の存在下で、エチレン(E)とクロロトリフルオロエチレン(CTFE)及び/又はテトラフルオロエチレン(TFE)とを反応させることを含む方法。
- アクリル酸(AA)の存在下での、エチレン(E)とクロロトリフルオロエチレン(CTFE)及び/又はテトラフルオロエチレン(TFE)との反応が懸濁液中で行われる、請求項8に記載の方法。
- アクリル酸(AA)の存在下での、エチレン(E)とクロロトリフルオロエチレン(CTFE)及び/又はテトラフルオロエチレン(TFE)との反応が、−40℃〜+100℃の温度かつ0.5〜100barの範囲の圧力で行われる、請求項8に記載の方法。
- − 少なくとも1つの表面[表面(S)]を有する基材と、
− 前記表面(S)に直接接着している少なくとも1つの層[層(L1)]であって、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のポリマー(P)を含む層(L1)と、
を含む物品。 - 前記基材がポリマー基材又は金属基材である、請求項11に記載の物品。
- 前記ポリマー基材が、ポリアミド基材、ポリアリールアミド基材、及びポリイミド基材を含む群の中で選択される、請求項12に記載の物品。
- 前記金属基材が、ステンレス鋼、亜鉛メッキステンレス鋼、炭素鋼、銅、アルミニウム、鉄、亜鉛、カドミウム、マグネシウム、黄銅、青銅、Monel(登録商標)、Inconel(登録商標)を含む群の中で選択される、請求項12に記載の物品。
- 請求項11〜14のいずれか1項に定義されたとおりの物品の製造方法であって、
(I)少なくとも1つの表面(S)を有する基材を準備する工程と;
(II)前記表面(S)に直接接着している少なくとも1つの層(L1)であって、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項で定義されるポリマー(P)を含む層(L1)を製造する工程と;
を含む方法。
