Description
ここで、回転体及び質量体が回転すると、遠心子は遠心力を受ける。そして、変換機構は、この遠心子に作用する遠心力によって、回転体と質量体との間に相対変位が生じたときには、遠心子に作用する遠心力を円周方向力に変換し、この円周方向力によって回転体と質量体の間の相対変位を小さくするように作動する。このような変換機構の作動によって、トルク変動が抑えられる。
本発明の第４側面に係るトルクコンバータは、エンジンとトランスミッションとの間に配置される。このトルクコンバータは、エンジンからのトルクが入力される入力側回転体と、トランスミッションにトルクを出力する出力側回転体と、入力側回転体と出力側回転体との間に配置されたダンパと、上記いずれかのトルク変動抑制装置と、を備えている。
