Abstract
Description
以下に、本発明の一実施形態に係る有機EL表示装置の構成を図1(A)及び(B)に示す。図1(A)は有機EL表示装置100の平面図を示し、図中に示すA−B線に対応する断面構造を図1(B)に示す。
Xは独立にN、C-H又はC-Ar1を示し、少なくとも1つはNである。Ar1は独立に芳香族炭化水素基又は芳香族複素環基を示す。好ましくはNが1〜3個であり、より好ましくはNが2〜3個であり、更に好ましくはNが3個である。XがC-Ar1の場合、Ar1とXを含む環とで一辺を共有する縮合環を形成してもよい。好ましいAr1の具体例は、Arで説明した芳香族炭化水素基又は芳香族複素環基と同様である。また、好ましい置換基も同様である。
式(23)において、Aは、単結合または芳香族炭化水素の2価基、芳香族複素環の2価基もしくは縮合多環芳香族の2価基を表す。芳香族炭化水素、芳香族複素環または縮合多環芳香族としては、ベンゼン、ビフェニル、ターフェニル、テトラキスフェニル、スチレン、ナフタレン、アントラセン、アセナフチレン、フルオレン、フェナントレン、インダン、ピレン、トリフェニレン、フルオランテン、ベンゾフルオランテン、クリセン、ピリジン、ピリミジン、トリアジン、フラン、ピロール、チオフェン、キノリン、イソキノリン、ベンゾフラン、ベンゾチオフェン、インドリン、カルバゾール、カルボリン、ベンゾオキサゾール、ベンゾチアゾール、キノキサリン、ベンゾイミダゾール、ピラゾール、ジベンゾフラン、ジベンゾチオフェン、ナフチリジン、フェナントロリン、アクリジン、ビピリジン、フェニルピリジン等が挙げられる。
本発明の一実施形態に係る有機EL表示装置の製造方法の概要を説明する。有機EL表示装置の製造工程には、公知の製造工程を用いることができる。
Claims (6)
- 画素電極と、
前記画素電極上に設けられた第1の有機層と、
前記第1の有機層上に設けられた発光層と、
前記発光層上に設けられた第2の有機層と、
前記第2の有機層上に設けられた対向電極と、を有し、
前記発光層は、ホスト材料と、発光ドーパント材料と、アシストドーパント材料と、を含み、
前記発光ドーパント材料は、前記発光層の膜厚方向に第1の濃度分布を有し、
前記アシストドーパント材料は、前記発光層の膜厚方向に第2の濃度分布を有し、
前記第1の濃度分布は、前記第2の濃度分布の範囲内に濃度のピークを有することを特徴とする、有機エレクトロルミネッセンス表示装置。 - 前記第1の濃度分布は、前記第2の濃度分布よりも狭い範囲であることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス表示装置。
- 前記第1及び前記第2の濃度分布は、前記発光層の中心よりも、前記第1の有機層に近い側に濃度のピークを有することを特徴とする、請求項1記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス表示装置。
- 前記第1の濃度分布の濃度のピークと、前記第2の濃度分布の濃度のピークが重なることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス表示装置。
- 前記第1の有機層は、ホール輸送層を含み、
前記第2の有機層は、電子輸送層を含み、
前記第1の有機層の膜厚は、前記第2の有機層の膜厚よりも大きいことを特徴とする、請求項1記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス表示装置。 - 前記第1の有機層と前記発光層との間に、電子ブロッキング層をさらに有し、
前記発光層と前記第2の有機層との間に、ホールブロッキング層をさらに有することを特徴とする、請求項1記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス表示装置。
