Abstract
Description
図1は、本発明の第1の実施形態に係る表示装置の平面図である。表示装置として、有機エレクトロルミネッセンス表示装置を例に挙げる。表示装置は、例えば、赤、緑及び青からなる複数色の単位画素(サブピクセル)を組み合わせて、フルカラーの画素を形成し、表示領域にフルカラーの画像を表示するようになっている。表示装置は、複数の画素がマトリクス状に配置された表示領域DAを有する。
図8は、本発明の第2の実施形態に係る表示装置の断面図である。本実施形態で、第2可撓性層260は、画像が表示される側で最表層である。詳しくは、封止層244に粘着層250を介して第2可撓性層260が貼り付けられている。第2形状記憶ワイヤ268は、粘着層250と第2可撓性層260の間(第2界面262)に位置する。また、第2形状記憶ワイヤ268は、表示領域DAを避けて配置される。第1可撓性層210には、粘着層264を介してフィルム252が貼り付けられている。その他の内容は、第1の実施形態で説明した内容を適用することができる。
図9は、本発明の第3の実施形態に係る表示装置の断面図である。本実施形態で、第1界面356を介して第1可撓性層310に接触する層は、回路層354である。第1形状記憶ワイヤ366は、第1界面356に設けられている。その他の内容は、第1の実施形態で説明した内容を適用することができる。
図10は、本発明の第4の実施形態に係る表示装置の断面図である。本実施形態で、第1可撓性層410と第2可撓性層460は、粘着層464によって貼り付けられている。第1界面456は、第1可撓性層410と粘着層464との間にある。第1形状記憶ワイヤ466は、第1界面456に設けられている。その他の内容は、第1の実施形態で説明した内容を適用することができる。

前記第2可撓性層は、画像が表示される側で、前記複数の層の最表層であり、
前記第2形状記憶ワイヤは、表示領域を避けて配置されることを特徴とする表示装置。
