下記の数式1を満たすことを特徴とするハードコーティングフィルムを提供する。

Aは応力−歪み曲線において歪み0〜1%の区間の面積を示し、
Bは応力−歪み曲線の下の全体面積を示す。

20重量部のウレタンアクリレート(10官能、ミウォンスペシャリティケミカル社製、Miramer MU9500)、20重量部のペンタエリトリトールトリアクリレート(3官能、ミウォンスペシャリティケミカル社製)、20重量部のナノジリカゾル(12nm、固形分40%、触媒化成社製、V8802)、30重量部のメチルエチルケトン、7重量部のプロピレングリコールモノメチルエーテル、2.5重量部の光開始剤(Ciba社製、I−184)、及び0.5重量部のレベリング剤(BYKケミー社製、BYK3570)を撹拌機にて配合し、ポリプロピレン(PP)材質のフィルタを利用してろ過して、ハードコーティング組成物を製造した。

20重量部のウレタンアクリレート(2官能、ミウォンスペシャリティケミカル社製、Miramer PU210)、50重量部のエチレンオキサイド含有アクリレート(3官能、ミウォンスペシャリティケミカル社製、Miramer M3190)、20重量部のメチルエチルケトン、7重量部のプロピレングリコールモノメチルエーテル、2.5重量部の光開始剤(Ciba社製、I−184)、及び0.5重量部のレベリング剤(BYKケミー社製、BYK3570)を撹拌機にて配合し、PP材質のフィルタを利用してろ過して、ハードコーティング組成物を製造した。
前記第造例1で得られたハードコーティング組成物を、ポリイミドフィルム(50μm)の一方の面に硬化後の厚さが10μmになるようにコートしてから溶剤の乾燥及びUV積算光量500mJ/cm2を照射することで片面コーティングを実施した後、ポリイミドフィルムのもう一方の面に同様に硬化後の厚さが10μmになるようにコートしてから乾燥及びUV硬化を施してハードコーティングフィルムを製造した。
前記実施例1において両面のハードコーティング層の厚さをそれぞれ8μmにしたことを除き、実施例1と同様にしてハードコーティングフィルムを製造した。
前記実施例1において両面のハードコーティング層の厚さをそれぞれ15μmにしたことを除き、実施例1と同様にしてハードコーティングフィルムを製造した。
前記実施例1において第造例1のハードコーティング組成物を、ポリイミドフィルム(50μm)の一方の面に硬化後の厚さが10μmになるようにコートしてから溶剤乾燥及びUV積算光量500mJ/cm2を照射することで片面コーティングのみを実施して、ハードコーティングフィルムを製造した。
前記実施例1においてハードコーティング組成物を第造例2のハードコーティング組成物にしたことを除き、実施例1と同様にしてハードコーティングフィルムを製造した。
前記実施例1においてハードコーティング組成物を第造例3のハードコーティング組成物にしたことを除き、実施例1と同様にしてハードコーティングフィルムを製造した。
前記実施例1において両面のハードコーティング層の厚さをそれぞれ3μmになるようにしたことを除き、実施例1と同様にしてハードコーティングフィルムを製造した。
前記実施例1において両面のハードコーティング層の厚さをそれぞれ20μmになるようにしたことを除き、実施例1と同様にしてハードコーティングフィルムを製造した。
実施例及び比較例で得られたハードコーティングフィルムの物性をそれぞれ下記の評価法にて評価した後、その結果を下記の表1に表した。
ハードコーティングフィルムを幅5mm、長さ10cmにカットした後、UTM治具間の距離が5cmになるようにフィルムを長さ方向に配設した。すなわち、測定するサンプルの領域は幅5mm、長さ5cmであった。測定は4mm/minの速度で治具を引っ張ってフィルムが破断する時点までの応力と歪み値を測定して応力−歪み曲線を測定した。
荷重1kg下、45度方向に鉛筆をセットした後、ハードコーティングフィルムをガラス上に固定し、フィルムのハードコーティング面に対して各鉛筆硬度を有する鉛筆にて5回評価した後、4回以上スクラッチが見られない硬度を鉛筆硬度と表記した。
実施例1〜3で得られたハードコーティングフィルムの場合は、向きとは関係なく実施し、実施例4で得られたハードコーティングフィルムの場合は、ハードコーティングフィルムのハードコーティング層が内側に向くようにして、フィルム面間の間隔が6mmになるように半分に折り曲げてから元に戻すことを20万回繰り返し実施した後、折り曲げ部分にクラックが発生したか否かを目視にて評価した。
OK:折り曲げ部分にクラック発生なし
NG:折り曲げ部分にクラック発生あり
B:応力−歪み曲線の下の全体面積
Claims (8)
- 透明基材;及び前記透明基材の少なくとも片面に形成されたハードコーティング層を含み、
1kgの荷重で評価した鉛筆硬度が4H以上であり、
下記の数式1を満たすことを特徴とするハードコーティングフィルム。

前記式中、
Aは応力−歪み曲線において歪み0〜1%の区間の面積を示し、
Bは応力−歪み曲線の下の全体面積を示す。 - 前記ハードコーティング層は、光硬化型(メタ)アクリレートオリゴマー及び光硬化型(メタ)アクリレートモノマーからなる群より選択された1種以上を含む光硬化型樹脂;光開始剤;及び溶剤を含むハードコーティング組成物から形成される、請求項1に記載のハードコーティングフィルム。
- 前記ハードコーティング組成物は、無機ナノ粒子をさらに含む、請求項2に記載のハードコーティングフィルム。
- 前記ハードコーティング層の厚さは5〜15μmである、請求項1に記載のハードコーティングフィルム。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のハードコーティングフィルムが備えられた偏光板。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のハードコーティングフィルムが備えられた画像表示装置。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のハードコーティングフィルムが備えられたフレキシブルディスプレイ。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のハードコーティングフィルムが備えられたフレキシブルディスプレイのウィンドウ。
