[背景技術]
留置型カテーテルは、単独で又は埋め込み型医療デバイス(限定はしないが埋め込み型アクセスポート等)と組合せて、物質(例えば、薬物)の送出のため及び/又は物質(例えば、血液)の除去/置換のために、ホストの血管構造に対するアクセスを提供する。経時的に、内方成長及び凝固は、留置型カテーテルを詰まらせ、カテーテルを通る流体の流れを減少させる又は流体の流れを完全に阻止する場合がある。

Claims (20)
- 留置型医療デバイスの開通性を維持する開通性システムであって、
前記留置型医療デバイスの一部分内に少なくとも部分的に受取られるように構成されている細長いシャフトと、
前記留置型医療デバイス内で形成されるデブリを少なくとも部分的に除去するように構成されている少なくとも1つのクリーナとを備える、開通性システム。 - 前記少なくとも1つのクリーナはブラシを含む、請求項1に記載の開通性システム。
- 前記ブラシは、前記留置型医療デバイスの内部表面に接触するため、全体的に半径方向に外方に延在するように構成されている複数のブリストルを含む、請求項1に記載の開通性システム。
- 前記複数のブリストルは、前記複数のブリストルが前記内部表面に接触する拡張位置、及び、前記複数のブリストルが、全体的に前記細長いシャフトに向かって配置され、それにより、前記開通性システムの全体的な断面が前記拡張位置に比較して減少する後退位置に配置されるように構成されている、請求項3に記載の開通性システム。
- 前記拡張位置と前記後退位置との間で前記複数のブリストルを付勢させる位置選択器を更に備える、請求項4に記載の開通性システム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのクリーナはオーガを含む、請求項1に記載の開通性システム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのクリーナは少なくとも1つの突出部を含む、請求項1に記載の開通性システム。
- 前記少なくとも1つの突出部は少なくとも半球構成を含む、請求項7に記載の開通性システム。

- 前記少なくとも1つのクリーナは少なくともストランドを含む、請求項1に記載の開通性システム。
- 少なくとも1つのバルーンを更に備える、請求項1に記載の開通性システム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのバルーンは、拡張すると、除去済みデブリが前記医療デバイスから出ることを全体的に防止するように構成されている、請求項11に記載の開通性システム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのバルーンは、前記細長いシャフトの端に位置決めされる、請求項11に記載の開通性システム。
- 前記細長いシャフトは、前記バルーンに膨張流体を供給するように構成されている少なくとも1つの管腔を画定する、請求項13に記載の開通性システム。
- 前記細長いシャフトは少なくとも1つの管腔を画定し、前記バルーンは、前記細長いシャフトの前記管腔内に少なくとも部分的に配設されるように構成されている膨張管腔を含み、前記膨張管腔は、前記バルーンに膨張液体を供給するように構成されている、請求項11に記載の開通性システム。
- 前記バルーンの少なくとも一部分は、前記管腔内に移動可能に配設されるように構成されている、請求項15に記載の開通性システム。
- 前記細長いシャフトは、前記医療デバイス内にフラッシング流体を供給するように構成されている少なくとも1つのフラッシングポートを有する少なくとも1つのフラッシング管腔を画定する、請求項1に記載の開通性システム。
- 前記細長いシャフトは少なくとも1つの負圧管腔及び前記医療デバイス内から除去済みデブリを受取るように構成されている少なくとも1つの負圧ポートを画定する、請求項1に記載の開通性システム。
- 前記クリーナは、前記医療デバイスからデブリを除去するため、流体を提供するように構成されている少なくとも1つのアパーチャを含む、請求項1に記載の開通性システム。
- 前記細長いシャフトの少なくとも1つの管腔に流体源を供給するように構成されている少なくとも1つのカプラを更に備える、請求項1に記載の開通性システム。
