[背景技術]
留置型カテーテルは、単独で又は埋め込み型医療デバイス(限定はしないが埋め込み型アクセスポート等)と組合せて、物質(例えば、薬物)の送出のため及び/又は物質(例えば、血液)の除去/置換のために、ホストの血管構造に対するアクセスを提供する。経時的に、内方成長及び凝固は、留置型カテーテルを詰まらせ、カテーテルを通る流体の流れを減少させる又は流体の流れを完全に阻止する場合がある。

Claims (17)
- 医療システムであって、前記医療システムは、
留置型カテーテル及び埋め込み型アクセスポートを有する留置型医療デバイスであって、前記埋め込み型アクセスポートは、患者に埋め込まれたときに、前記埋め込み型アクセスポート内に収容可能であり前記アクセスポートの外側に露出可能な針を有し、前記針、前記留置型カテーテル及び前記埋め込み型アクセスポートは、互いに流体連通状態の管腔を有する、前記留置型医療デバイスと、
前記留置型医療デバイスの前記針、前記埋め込み型アクセスポート及び前記留置型カテーテルの前記管腔内に受取られるように構成されている細長いシャフトと、
前記細長いシャフトに配置され、且つ、前記留置型医療デバイスの少なくとも前記留置型カテーテルの前記管腔内で形成されるデブリの少なくとも一部を除去するように構成された、少なくとも1つのクリーナと、
少なくとも1つのバルーンと、を備え、
前記埋め込み型アクセスポートの前記管腔は、前記細長いシャフトを前記針の前記管腔から前記留置型カテーテルの前記管腔に向ける前記埋め込み型アクセスポートにより画定される湾曲した管腔であり、
前記細長いシャフトは少なくとも1つの管腔を画定し、前記バルーンは、前記細長いシャフトの前記管腔内に少なくとも部分的に配設されるように構成されている膨張管腔を含み、前記膨張管腔は、前記バルーンに膨張液体を供給するように構成されている、医療システム。 - 前記少なくとも1つのクリーナはブラシを含む、請求項1に記載の医療システム。
- 前記ブラシは、前記留置型医療デバイスの内部表面に接触するため、前記細長いシャフトから全体的に半径方向に外方に延在するように構成されている複数のブリストルを含む、請求項2に記載の医療システム。
- 前記複数のブリストルは、前記複数のブリストルが前記内部表面に接触する拡張位置、及び、前記複数のブリストルが、全体的に前記細長いシャフトに向かって配置され、それにより、全体的な断面が前記拡張位置に比較して減少する後退位置に配置されるように構成されている、請求項3に記載の医療システム。
- 前記拡張位置と前記後退位置との間で前記複数のブリストルを付勢させる位置選択器を更に備える、請求項4に記載の医療システム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのクリーナはオーガを含む、請求項1に記載の医療システム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのクリーナは少なくとも1つの突出部を含む、請求項1に記載の医療システム。
- 前記少なくとも1つの突出部は少なくとも半球構成を含む、請求項7に記載の医療システム。
- 前記少なくとも1つの突出部は柔軟セグメントによって分離された複数の突出部を含む、請求項7に記載の医療システム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのクリーナは少なくとも1つのストランドを含む、請求項1に記載の医療システム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのバルーンは、拡張すると、除去済みデブリが前記医療デバイスから出ることを防止するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の医療システム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのバルーンは、前記細長いシャフトの端に位置決めされる、請求項1に記載の医療システム。
- 前記バルーンの少なくとも一部分は、前記細長いシャフトの前記管腔内に移動可能に配設されるように構成されている、請求項1に記載の医療システム。
- 前記細長いシャフトは、前記医療デバイス内にフラッシング流体を供給するように構成されている少なくとも1つのフラッシングポートを有する少なくとも1つのフラッシング管腔を画定する、請求項1に記載の医療システム。
- 前記細長いシャフトは少なくとも1つの負圧管腔及び前記医療デバイス内から除去済みデブリを受取るように構成されている少なくとも1つの負圧ポートを画定する、請求項1に記載の医療システム。
- 前記クリーナは、前記留置型医療デバイスからデブリを除去するため、流体を提供するように構成されている少なくとも1つの流体アパーチャを含む、請求項1に記載の医療システム。
- 前記細長いシャフトの少なくとも1つの管腔に流体源を供給するように構成されている少なくとも1つのカプラを更に備える、請求項1に記載の医療システム。
