Abstract
Description
本出願は、2014年11月17日に出願された米国出願第14/542,695号の利益を主張する。当該出願は、参照することによってその全体が本明細書に組み込まれる。

Claims (15)
- マトリクス材料(6)及び前記マトリクス材料(6)内に配置された凝縮膨張性黒鉛(5)材料を含む膨潤性組成物であって、前記凝縮膨張性黒鉛(5)材料が嵩密度約1〜約8g/cm3を有しかつ膨張性黒鉛を含む、前記組成物。
- 前記マトリクス材料(6)が、以下のうちの1つ以上である、請求項1に記載の組成物:エチレン−プロピレン−ジエンモノマーゴム;ブタジエンゴム;スチレン−ブタジエンゴム;天然ゴム;アクリロニトリルブタジエンゴム;スチレン−ブタジエン−アクリロニトリル樹脂;ブタジエン−ニトリルゴム;ポリイソプレンゴム;アクリレート−ブタジエンゴム;ポリクロロプレンゴム;アクリレート−イソプレンゴム;エチレン−酢酸ビニルゴム;ポリプロピレンオキシドゴム;ポリプロピレンスルフィドゴム;フルオロエラストマー;または熱可塑性ポリウレタンゴム。
- 前記凝縮膨張性黒鉛(5)材料が、さらに、SiO2、Si、B、B2O3、金属、または金属合金のうちの1つ以上を含む結合剤を含む請求項1または請求項2に記載の組成物であって、前記金属が、アルミニウム、銅、チタン、ニッケル、タングステン、クロム、鉄、マンガン、ジルコニウム、ハフニウム、バナジウム、ニオブ、モリブデン、スズ、ビスマス、アンチモン、鉛、カドミウム、またはセレンのうちの1つ以上である、前記組成物。
- さらに、テルミット、Al−Ni、Ti−Si、Ti−B、Zr−Si、Zr−B、Ti−Al、Ni−Mg、またはMg−Biのうちの1つ以上を含む活性化材料を含む請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の組成物であって、前記テルミットが還元剤及び酸化剤を含み、前記還元剤が、アルミニウム、マグネシウム、カルシウム、チタン、亜鉛、ケイ素、またはホウ素のうちの1つ以上を含み、前記酸化剤が、酸化ホウ素、酸化ケイ素、酸化クロム、酸化マンガン、酸化鉄、酸化銅、または酸化鉛のうちの1つ以上を含む、前記組成物。
- 請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の組成物を含む製品。
- 前記製品が、シール、高圧ビーズフラックスクリーンプラグ、スクリーンベースパイププラグ、ボール及びシート用コーティング、ガスケット、圧縮パッキング要素、膨張性パッキング要素、Oリング、接着シール、弾丸シール、地下安全弁シール、地下安全弁フラッパシール、動的シール、Vリング、バックアップリング、ドリルビットシール、ライナーポートプラグ、大気ディスク、大気室ディスク、砂防ダム、ドリル・イン・スティム・ライナー・プラグ(drill in stim liner plug)、流入制御装置プラグ、フラッパ、シート、ボールシート、直接接続ディスク、ドリル・イン・リニア・ディスク(drill−in linear disk)、ガスリフト弁体、流体損失制御フラッパ、電動水中ポンプシール、シア・アウト・プラグ(shear out plug)、フラッパ弁、ガスリフト弁、またはスリーブである、請求項5に記載の製品。
- タップ密度約0.005〜約1g/cm3を有する膨張性黒鉛(5)を圧縮して凝縮膨張性黒鉛(5)のバルク材を得;前記凝縮膨張性黒鉛(5)のバルク材を、タップ密度約0.1〜約2g/cm3を有する凝縮膨張性黒鉛(5)粒子に分割し;前記凝縮膨張性黒鉛(5)粒子を前記マトリクス材料(6)と混合することを含む、請求項1に記載の組成物の製造方法。
- タップ密度約0.005〜約1g/cm3を有する膨張性黒鉛(5)と結合剤の混合物を圧縮して凝縮膨張性黒鉛(5)のバルク材を得;前記凝縮膨張性黒鉛(5)のバルク材を、タップ密度約1〜約5g/cm3を有する凝縮膨張性黒鉛(5)粒子に分割し;前記凝縮膨張性黒鉛(5)粒子を前記マトリクス材料(6)と混合することを含む、請求項4に記載の組成物の製造方法。
- 膨潤性部材(10)及び前記膨潤性部材(10)の表面に配置された封止部材(11)を含む封止装置であって、前記膨潤性部材(10)が凝縮膨張性黒鉛(5)材料を含み、凝縮膨張性黒鉛(5)材料が嵩密度約1〜約8g/cm3を有しかつ膨張性黒鉛を含み、前記封止部材(11)が、以下のうちの1つ以上を含む、前記封止装置:エチレン−プロピレン−ジエンモノマーゴム;ブタジエンゴム;スチレン−ブタジエンゴム;天然ゴム;アクリロニトリルブタジエンゴム;スチレン−ブタジエン−アクリロニトリル樹脂;ブタジエン−ニトリルゴム;ポリイソプレンゴム;アクリレート−ブタジエンゴム;ポリクロロプレンゴム;アクリレート−イソプレンゴム;エチレン−酢酸ビニルゴム;ポリプロピレンオキシドゴム;ポリプロピレンスルフィドゴム;フルオロエラストマー;または熱可塑性ポリウレタンゴム。
- 前記凝縮膨張性黒鉛(5)材料が、さらに、SiO2、Si、B、B2O3、金属、または金属合金のうちの1つ以上を含む結合剤を含む請求項9に記載の封止装置であって、前記金属が、アルミニウム、銅、チタン、ニッケル、タングステン、クロム、鉄、マンガン、ジルコニウム、ハフニウム、バナジウム、ニオブ、モリブデン、スズ、ビスマス、アンチモン、鉛、カドミウム、またはセレンのうちの1つ以上である、前記封止装置。
- 前記膨潤性部材(10)が、さらに、以下のうちの1つ以上を含む活性化材料を含む、請求項9または請求項10に記載の封止装置:テルミット;Al−Ni;Ti−Si;Ti−B;Zr−Si;Zr−B;Ti−Al;Ni−Mg;またはMg−Bi。
- さらに、前記封止部材に隣接する押出防止部材(12)及び任意の環状体を含む、
請求項9から11のいずれか一項に記載の封止装置であって、前記押出防止部材(12)が任意にバックアップリングであり、前記膨潤性部材(10)が任意に前記環状体の表面に配置される、前記封止装置。 - 請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の組成物であって、第一の形状を有する前記組成物を含む製品、または請求項9から12のいずれか一項に記載の封止装置であって、前記膨潤性部材(10)が第一の形状を有する前記封止装置を所定の位置に配置し;前記凝縮膨張性黒鉛(5)材料を活性化して前記製品中の前記組成物または前記封止装置の前記膨潤性部材(10)に前記第一の形状とは異なる第二の形状を獲得させることを含む、製品または封止装置の展開方法。
- 前記活性化が、前記組成物または前記膨潤性部材(10)を、電流、電磁放射線、または熱のうちの1つ以上を含む選択された形のエネルギーに曝露することを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記方法が、さらに、坑井孔を、前記製品または前記封止装置を前記坑井孔内で展開させることによって、遮断または完成させることを含む、請求項13または14に記載の方法。
