Abstract
Description
mは、3以上、好ましくは4以上、より好ましくは5以上の値であり、6以上であってもよいが、同時に10以下、好ましくは9以下、より好ましくは8以下、更により好ましくは7以下、なおも更により好ましくは6以下、最も好ましくは5以下である。最も望ましくは、mは5である。
これらの界面活性剤のそれぞれが、80%以上の生分解性値を呈する。60%の値は、本試験方法下において「容易に生分解可能」とみなされる。したがって、これらの界面活性剤のそれぞれが、容易に生分解可能とみなされる。
以下のミルクソイル(Milk Soil)消泡試験においてこれらの界面活性剤の消泡性能を判定する。各界面活性剤の水溶液を、溶液の重量に基づいて0.01重量%の界面活性剤を充填して調製する。186ミリリットル(mL)の溶液に、0.6グラムの水酸化ナトリウム水溶液を添加する。次いで、結果として得られる溶液を1リットルのWaring(商標)Laboratory Blender(Waring CommercialからのModel 31DM33)容器に入れ、15mLのミルク分散液(水中10重量%の粉ミルク)を添加する。高速で60秒間ブレンダーを作動させる。ブレンダーを停止させ、0、15、30、60、及び120秒の時点での泡の高さを記録する。
ASTM 3566−85試験方法に従い、北米の試験条件下において、自動食器洗い機での界面活性剤の洗浄力を特徴付ける。SearsのKenmoreモデル665.13.04シリーズ2K113食器洗い機を、事前に水を55℃に温め、短時間洗浄サイクルのプログラムで使用する。スケーリング及びスポッティングの特徴付けに4つのLibbey−Collinグラス(モデル番号53)を使用する。食器洗い機の上段の食器洗い機の異なる隅部に下向きにグラスを置く。食器洗い機には、汚れていない磁器、セラミック、メラミン、及びガラス製のプレート及び/またはカップ、ステンレス製のカトラリー、ならびにプラスチック製のタンブラーを含む、消費者に関連する食器洗いを行う追加量の物品が含まれている。

- 更に、mが5であり、nが9〜15の範囲内であり、zが5〜25の範囲内であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の界面活性剤。
- 更に、n対zの比が1以下であることを特徴とする、請求項1または請求項2のいずれかに記載の界面活性剤。
- 更に、mが5であり、nが5〜9の範囲内の値であり、zが10〜25の範囲内の値であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の界面活性剤。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の界面活性剤を使用する方法であって、前記界面活性剤を含有する洗剤組成物を自動食器洗い機に入れることを含む、方法。
