Claims (29)
- 1以上の識別繊維を含み;
識別繊維のそれぞれは少なくとも1つの別個の特徴を示し;
識別繊維は1以上の標付繊維を含み;
標付繊維は1以上のタガント表面マーキングを含む別個の特徴を示し;
タガント表面マーキングは標付繊維の長さに沿って繰り返しパターンを形成し;
繰り返しパターンは繊維のコードを表す繊維。 - 標準繊維を更に含み、コードは繊維又は標準繊維の少なくとも1つのサプライチェーン要素を表す、請求項1に記載の繊維。
- 繰り返しパターンが、英数字コード、デジタルコード、アナログコード、又は表意文字コードを含む、請求項1又は2のいずれかに記載の繊維。
- 繰り返しパターンがメタデータを含む、請求項3に記載の繊維。
- メタデータが、読み取り開始位置、読み取り終了位置、又は読み取り方向を含む、請求項4に記載の繊維。
- 繰り返しパターンがデジタルコードを含み、デジタルコードはバイナリーコードを含む、請求項3〜5のいずれかに記載の繊維。
- バイナリーコードにおける桁数が4〜100の範囲である、請求項6に記載の繊維。
- 繰り返しパターンの長さが5mm〜200mmの範囲である、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の繊維。
- 繰り返しパターンが実質的に一次元である、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の繊維。
- 繰り返しパターンが標付繊維の上に印刷されている、請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の繊維。
- 繰り返しパターンが、浮き出し印刷又は形態変化によって標付繊維の上に与えられている、請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の繊維。
- 標準繊維がセルロースアセテートを含む、請求項2〜11のいずれかに記載の繊維。
- 標付繊維が溶剤中に実質的に不溶であり、標準繊維は溶剤中に可溶である、請求項2〜11のいずれかに記載の繊維。
- 標付繊維がアセトン又は塩化メチレン中に実質的に不溶である、請求項12又は13のいずれかに記載の繊維。
- 標付繊維がトリアセチンとの溶剤結合を実質的に起こさない、請求項12〜14のいずれかに記載の繊維。
- 標付繊維が、アクリル、モダクリル、アラミド、ナイロン、ポリエステル、ポリプロピレン、レイヨン、ポリアクリロニトリル、ポリエチレン、セルローストリアセテート、又はPTFEを含む、請求項1〜15のいずれかに記載の繊維。
- 請求項1〜16のいずれかに記載の繊維を含む物品。
- フィルター(好ましくはフィルターロッド又は紙巻きタバコフィルター)、並びに布帛及び他の編織製品、不織布、並びに吸収材製品からなる群から選択される、請求項13に記載の物品。
- アセテートトウバンド、又はアセテートトウバンドを含むフィルター(好ましくはフィルターロッド又は紙巻きタバコフィルター)である、請求項17に記載の物品。
- 繰り返しパターンが、アセテートトウバンドの製造者、アセテートトウバンドの製造場所、アセテートトウバンドの製造ライン、アセテートトウバンドの製造ラン、アセテートトウバンドの製造日、アセテートトウバンドの梱包、アセテートトウバンドの倉庫、アセテートトウバンドの取引先、又はアセテートトウバンドの納入先を含む少なくとも1つのサプライチェーン要素を表す、請求項19に記載の物品。
- 請求項19又は20のいずれかに記載のアセテートトウバンドの製造方法であって、
(a)識別繊維を入手し;
(b)第1の繊維製造プロセスで標準繊維を製造し;そして
(c)識別繊維と標準繊維を結合してアセテートトウバンドにする;
ことを含む上記方法。 - 標付繊維を含む識別繊維を入手することが、
(i)第2の繊維製造プロセスで識別繊維の一部を製造し、次にタガント表面マーキングを繰り返しパターンで識別繊維に施して標付繊維の一部を製造すること;
(ii)識別繊維の一部を第三者から受取り、次にタガント表面マーキングを繰り返しパターンで識別繊維に施して標付繊維の一部を製造すること;或いは
(iii)標付繊維の一部を第三者から受け取ること;
の少なくとも1つを含む、請求項21に記載の方法。 - タガント表面マーキングを繰り返しパターンで施すことが、浮き出し印刷、印刷、又は形態変化を含む、請求項22に記載の方法。
- 施すことが、標準繊維を製造するのと同時に、標付繊維の上にタガント表面マーキングを繰り返しパターンで印刷又はレーザー浮き出し印刷し、アセテートトウバンドを捲縮する前に標付繊維と標準繊維を結合することを含む、請求項22に記載の方法。
- 繊維試料を特徴付ける方法であって、繊維試料は請求項1〜16のいずれかに記載の繊維又は請求項17〜20のいずれかに記載の物品を含み;
(1)繊維試料から標付繊維を分離し;
(2)画像技術を標付繊維に適用し;
(3)タガント表面マーキングの繰り返しパターンを測定する;
ことを含む上記方法。 - 分離することが、繊維試料を溶剤中に配置して、繊維試料の溶解部分及び標付繊維を含む溶液を形成し、溶液から標付繊維を取り出すことを含む、請求項25に記載の方法。
- 画像技術が、人間の目視検査、顕微鏡検査、電子顕微鏡検査、共焦点顕微鏡検査、及び光学スキャンからなる群から選択される、請求項25〜26のいずれかに記載の方法。
- タガント表面マーキングの繰り返しパターンを、製造に特異のタガントを含むデーターベースに相関させて少なくとも1つのサプライチェーン要素を求めることを更に含み、少なくとも1つのサプライチェーン要素は、標準繊維の製造者、標準繊維の製造場所、標準繊維の製造ライン、標準繊維の製造ラン、標準繊維の製造日、標準繊維の包装、標準繊維の倉庫、標準繊維の取引先、標準繊維の納入先、繊維を含む繊維バンドの製造者、繊維バンドの製造場所、繊維バンドの製造ライン、繊維バンドの製造ラン、繊維バンドの製造日、繊維バンドの包装、繊維バンドの倉庫、繊維バンドの取引先、繊維バンドの納入先、繊維を含む物品の製造者、物品の製造場所、物品の製造ライン、物品の製造ラン、物品の製造日、物品の包装、物品の倉庫、物品の取引先、又は物品の納入先を含む、請求項25〜27のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 繊維試料がフィルターの一部を含み、フィルターはアセテートトウバンドを含み、タガント表面マーキングの繰り返しパターンを、製造に特異のタガントを含むデーターベースに相関させることを更に含み、少なくとも1つのサプライチェーン要素はアセテートトウバンドの梱包を含む、請求項28に記載の方法。
