厚さが3μm未満であり、且つ粘度が20℃で1.5×10−3Pa・s未満である水性不動態化溶液の層が、前記鋼帯の面の1つ上に堆積され、この堆積は、一方で前記鋼帯と接触し、他方で第2のコーティングローラーと接触する転写ローラーで行われ、前記第2のコーティングローラーの表面は複数の六角形状のセルを有し、前記六角形状のセルのラインカウントは1センチメートル当たり50から200ラインの間であり、且つ全体積はローラー表面の1平方メートル当たり5×10−6から10×10−6m3の間であり、前記コーティングローラーが、ワイピング手段を備えたタンクに浸漬されることによって水性不動態化溶液を供給し、且つ前記鋼帯が、400m/分以上の速度で動作する、製造方法。 - 前記コーティングローラーを前記転写ローラーに接触させて設置するためのコーティングローラー上に及ぼされる力の合計は、被覆鋼帯の幅の1メートル当たり1500Nから3000Nの間である、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 前記転写ローラーを前記鋼帯に接触させて設置するための転写ローラー上に及ぼされる力の合計は、被覆鋼帯の幅の1メートル当たり3000から5000Nの間である、請求項1または2に記載の製造方法。
- 前記コーティングローラーが、タンクからの出口で過剰の水性不動態化溶液の除去を可能にするワイピング手段に接触する、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の製造方法。
- 前記水性不動態化溶液の堆積後、被覆鋼帯は乾燥ステップに供される、請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の製造方法。
- 前記乾燥ステップが、鋼帯の方向に空気を吹くことによって行われ、吹かれた空気が80から150℃の間の温度および15%未満の水分含有量を有する、請求項5に記載の製造方法。
- 前記乾燥段階に先立って、前記鋼帯が、80℃より低い温度への予熱ステップに供される、請求項5または6に記載の製造方法。
- 前記水性溶液中の不動態化元素の濃度は、乾燥前に不動態化フィルムの厚さの測定に応じて制御される、請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の製造方法。
- 前記水性不動態化溶液が、Bonderite(R)1456の水性溶液であり、前記溶液の濃度は、Bonderite(R)1456の市販溶液の5から15体積%の間である、請求項1から8のいずれかに記載の製造方法。
- 前記堆積されたBonderite(R)1456の層の厚さは、乾燥後に15nm未満である、請求項8に記載の製造方法。
- 請求項1から10のいずれかに記載の方法の実施のための装置であって、
転写ローラー(7)と、
前記転写ローラー(7)に接触し、且つ複数の六角形状のセルを有し、六角形状のセルのラインカウントは1センチメートル当たり50から200ラインであり、体積はローラー表面の1平方メートル当たり5×10−6から10×10−6m3であるコーティングローラー(8)と、
水性不動態化溶液を含み、コーティングローラー(8)が浸漬されるタンク(9)と
を含む装置。 - 前記転写ローラー(7)が、エラストマーからなる、請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記コーティングローラー(8)が、レーザーエッチングされたセラミックコーティングを含む、請求項11および12のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 前記タンク(9)が、少なくとも1つのブレードを有するワイピングデバイス(10)を含む、請求項11から13のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 乾燥前に水性不動態化溶液のフィルムの厚さの測定を可能にする磁気放射線ゲージ(5)をさらに含む、請求項11から14のいずれかに記載の装置。
