(i)第一段階において、アルミナ担体を、銅及び遷移金属を含む第一の水溶液で含浸するステップであって、これにより第一の触媒成分を形成するステップと;
(ii)後続段階において、該第一の触媒成分を、銅及びアルカリ土類金属を含む第二の水溶液で含浸するステップであって、これにより担持触媒を形成するステップと;
によって製造される、方法を提供する。
1つ以上の実施形態では、担持触媒とも呼ばれうる触媒組成物は、活性触媒金属、助触媒、及び触媒担体を含む。以下に詳しく述べるように、該触媒組成物は、担体を、1つ以上の活性触媒金属及び助触媒を含む水溶液で、一般にインシピエントウェットネス含浸(incipient wetness impregnation)として知られる方法で含浸することによって調製されうる。
本発明の1つ以上の実施形態の実践は、特定の触媒担体の選択によって限定される。この関連で、米国特許第5,292,703号並びに米国公開第2009/0054708号、第2009/0298682号、第2010/0274061号、第2006/0129008号、及び第2004/0192978号が、参照することによって本明細書に組み込まれる。
上で提案したように、本発明の担持触媒材料は、該担体を、1つ以上の活性触媒金属及び助触媒を含む水溶液で、インシピエントウェットネス含浸で含浸することによって調製されうる。本明細書の目的のため、また、他に明記しない限り、該担体の該含浸技術は、その最も広義で理解されるものとし、広範囲(例えば、その細孔容積の80%から115%)にわたって該担体を湿らすことを含む。1つ以上の実施形態では、該水溶液で処理された担体は湿潤となり、その後乾燥されうる。1つ以上の実施形態では、該担持触媒または任意の前駆体は、焼成されうる。
1つ以上の実施形態では、該第一の溶液は、銅塩、アルカリ金属塩、任意にアルカリ土類金属塩、及び任意に遷移金属塩を含む。特定の実施形態では、該第一の溶液は、銅塩、アルカリ金属塩、及びアルカリ土類金属塩を含む。また、特定の実施形態では、該第一の溶液は、銅塩、アルカリ金属塩、アルカリ土類金属塩、及び遷移金属塩を含む。
1つ以上の実施形態では、該第二の溶液は、銅塩、アルカリ土類金属塩、任意に遷移金属塩を含み、実質的にアルカリ金属を含まない。特定の実施形態では、該第二の溶液は、銅塩、アルカリ土類金属塩、遷移金属塩を含み、実質的にアルカリ金属を含まない。さらに他の特定の実施形態では、該第二の溶液は、銅塩、アルカリ土類金属塩を含み、実質的にアルカリ金属及び遷移金属を含まない。
Claims (20)
- 担持銅触媒の存在下、エチレンを1,2‐ジクロロエタンに変換するタイプのオキシ塩素化方法であって:
(i)第一段階において、アルミナ担体を、銅及び遷移金属を含む第一の水溶液で含浸ステップであって、これにより第一の触媒成分を形成するステップと;
(ii)後続段階において、前記第一の触媒成分を、銅及びアルカリ土類金属を含む第二の水溶液で含浸するステップであって、これにより担持触媒を形成するステップと;
によって調製される前記担持触媒の使用を含むことを特徴とする、方法。 - 前記オキシ塩素化方法が流動床反応器内で行われる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記流動床反応器がバッフル付き床反応器である、請求項1〜2のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記担持触媒が、銅を約5.0から約12重量%含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記担持触媒が、アルカリ土類金属を約0.25から約3.0重量%含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記担持触媒が、アルカリ土類金属を約0.25から約1.6重量%含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記担持触媒が、遷移金属を約0.5から約2.25重量%含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記アルカリ土類金属がマグネシウムである、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第一の溶液がアルカリ金属を含む、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記アルカリ金属がカリウムである、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第一の溶液がアルカリ土類金属を含む、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記アルカリ土類金属がマグネシウムである、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第二の水溶液が実質的にアルカリ金属を含まない、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 遷移金属がマンガンである、請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- エチレンの1,2‐ジクロロエタンへのオキシ塩素化のための触媒を製造する方法であって:
(i)第一段階において、アルミナ担体を、銅及び遷移金属を含む第一の水溶液で含浸するステップであって、これにより第一の触媒成分を形成するステップと;
(ii)後続段階において、前記第一の触媒成分を、銅及びアルカリ土類金属を含む第二の水溶液で含浸するステップであって、これにより担持触媒を形成するするステップと;
を含む方法。 - 前記第一の溶液がさらにアルカリ金属及びアルカリ土類金属を含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記第二の水溶液が実質的にアルカリ金属を含まない、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 触媒、酸素、及び塩化水素の存在下、エチレンを1,2‐ジクロロエタンに変換するステップを含むオキシ塩素化方法であって、
前記触媒が:
(i)第一段階において、アルミナ担体を、銅及び遷移金属を含む第一の水溶液で含浸するステップ、これにより第一の触媒成分を形成するステップと;
(ii)後続段階において、前記第一の触媒成分を、銅及びアルカリ土類金属を含む第二の水溶液で含浸するステップであって、これにより担持触媒を形成するステップと;によって製造される、方法。 - 前記第一の溶液が、さらにアルカリ金属及びアルカリ土類金属を含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記第二の水溶液が、実質的にアルカリ金属を含まない、請求項19に記載の方法。
