図1は本発明の一実施形態によるチップインダクタの斜視図を概略的に示したものであり、図2は本発明の一実施形態によるチップインダクタの分解斜視図を概略的に示したものであり、図3は図1に示す素子構造をI−I'線に沿って切って見た場合の断面図を概略的に示したものである。
図7〜13は本発明の他の実施形態によるチップインダクタの製造方法を順に示したものである。

Claims (11)
- 複数のシ−トが積層された積層体と、
前記積層体の内部に配置されたコイルであって、前記積層体の少なくとも一方の面に前記コイルの一部が露出する露出部を有するコイルと、
前記露出部を覆うように前記積層体の外側に配置される非磁性絶縁層と、を含むチップインダクタ。 - 前記露出部は、前記積層体の長さ方向における両端面に配置される、請求項1に記載のチップインダクタ。
- 前記コイルの中央に配置される拡散部をさらに含む、請求項1または請求項2に記載のチップインダクタ。
- 前記拡散部はNi−Cu−Znフェライトからなる、請求項3に記載のチップインダクタ。
- 前記コイルは平面図上で環状の軌道を構成し、前記環状の軌道の外側に位置する領域は非磁性体である、請求項3または請求項4に記載のチップインダクタ。
- 前記積層体の外側に配置される外部電極をさらに含み、
前記非磁性絶縁層の厚さは前記外部電極の厚さより薄い、請求項1から請求項5の何れか一項に記載のチップインダクタ。 - 磁性体の第1シ−ト及び非磁性体の第2シ−トを準備する段階と、
前記第2シ−トの一面の縁に一部が接する露出部を有するコイルパタ−ンを形成する段階と、
前記第2シ−トの上部の中央部に、NiOが含まれた磁性層を形成する段階と、
前記第1シ−ト、複数の第2シ−ト、及び第1シ−トを順に積層することで、内部にコイルを含む積層体を準備する段階と、
前記積層体の外側に前記コイルの一部が露出した前記露出部を覆うように非磁性絶縁層を形成する段階と、を含むチップインダクタの製造方法。 - 前記磁性層は、25〜40mol%のNiOを含むフェライトからなる、請求項7に記載のチップインダクタの製造方法。
- 前記積層体を焼成する段階をさらに含み、
前記積層体を焼成する段階で、前記磁性層と前記第2シ−トとの間で拡散が起こることで、前記コイルの中央部に拡散部が形成される、請求項7または請求項8に記載のチップインダクタの製造方法。 - 前記磁性層は焼結促進剤をさらに含む、請求項7から請求項9の何れか一項に記載のチップインダクタの製造方法。
- 前記焼結促進剤として低融点の酸化物またはガラスを用いる、請求項10に記載のチップインダクタの製造方法。
