Claims (8)
- 光電変換素子を内蔵する光学電子部品を、プリント配線基板に固定されるソケットに接続する光学電子部品とソケットの接続構造であって、
光学電子部品は、
平面の開口を通して鉛直方向の上方に内蔵する光電変換素子を臨ませ、側面から水平面に沿った少なくとも1方向に突出する鍔部を一体に有する絶縁ケースと、
光電変換素子に電気接続し、前記絶縁ケースの水平面と平行な外面に露出する複数の導電パッドとを備えるとともに、
ソケットは、
プリント配線基板と平行な水平面に沿ってプリント配線基板に固定されるハウジングと、
前記鍔部を水平面に沿ってスライド自在に案内するガイド部と、
前記導電パッドが露出する外面に鉛直方向で対向するハウジングの接続領域に互いに絶縁して固定され、一端側の脚部がプリント配線基板の導電パターンに電気接続し、他側の接触部が前記鍔部と一体にスライドする前記複数の導電パッドの移動軌跡に臨む複数のコンタクトとを備え、
光電変換素子がプリント配線基板に直交する上方に臨む姿勢で、光学電子部品をプリント配線基板に固定されるソケットへ接続することを特徴とする光学電子部品とソケットの接続構造。 - 前記複数の導電パッドは、前記鍔部の平面若しくは底面のいずれかの露出面に露出し、
前記ハウジングに、前記鍔部を前記鍔部の突出方向に沿ってスライド自在に案内し、前記鍔部の露出面に前記接続領域を対向させて前記鍔部を収容する接続挿入凹部を形成し、
前記接続挿入凹部内で前記鍔部の露出面に露出する導電パッドが対応する前記コンタクトの接触部に接触する前記鍔部の挿入位置で、前記絶縁ケースを水平方向に対して位置決めすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光学電子部品とソケットの接続構造。 - 前記接続挿入凹部を形成する前記ハウジングの一部は、プリント配線基板の接地パターンに電気接続する金属カバーであることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の光学電子部品とソケットの接続構造。
- 前記ハウジングに、前記接続挿入凹部に連続して、鉛直方向から載置される前記鍔部を前記鍔部の突出方向に沿って前記接続挿入凹部へ案内するガイド受け部を形成することを特徴とする請求項2又は請求項3に記載の光学電子部品とソケットの接続構造。
- ソケットは、前記接続領域の全周を囲う前記ハウジングの部位に固定され、前記接続挿入凹部に挿入される前記鍔部の露出面に弾性接触して、前記接続領域に対向する前記接続挿入凹部の内面との間で前記鍔部を挟持する第1弾性シール部材を更に備え、
前記鍔部の露出面に露出する導電パッドと対応する前記コンタクトの接触部とが接触する空間を、前記ハウジングと第1弾性シール部材と前記鍔部の露出面で密閉することを特徴とする請求項2乃至請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の光学電子部品とソケットの接続構造。 - 前記複数の導電パッドは、鉛直方向を中心軸とする有底円筒体状の絶縁ケースの底面に露出し、
前記ハウジングに、前記導電パッドが露出する前記絶縁ケースの底面に前記接続領域を対向させた円形底面部と、円形底面部の周囲に起立する円筒状の周壁部とから、前記絶縁ケースの前記鍔部を収容する円筒収容凹部を形成し、
前記周壁部から内側に水平に突設するカバー片と前記円形底面部との間に前記鍔部を嵌挿し、前記絶縁ケースを前記周壁部の内壁面に沿って前記円筒収容凹部の中心軸周りに回動自在に案内し、
前記円筒収容凹部内で前記絶縁ケースの底面に露出する導電パッドが対応する前記コンタクトの接触部に接触する前記絶縁ケースの回転位置で、前記絶縁ケースを回動方向に対して位置決めすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光学電子部品とソケットの接続構造。 - 前記円筒収容凹部を形成する前記周壁部と前記カバー片は、一枚の金属板からなり、前記周壁部の下端の脚部がプリント配線基板の接地パターンに電気接続することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の光学電子部品とソケットの接続構造。
- ソケットは、前記接続領域の全周を囲う前記円形底面部の部位に固定され、前記円筒収容凹部内で前記絶縁ケースの底面に弾性接触して、前記カバー片との間で前記絶縁ケースを挟持する第2弾性シール部材を更に備え、
前記絶縁ケースの底面に露出する導電パッドと対応する前記コンタクトの接触部とが接触する空間を、前記円形底面部と第2弾性シール部材と前記絶縁ケースの底面との間で密閉することを特徴とする請求項6又は請求項7のいずれか1項に記載の光学電子部品とソケットの接続構造。
