Abstract
Description
Claims (20)
- 焼灼規模を監視するためのシステムであって、
電力源と、
マイクロ波アンテナと、
焼灼域の制御モジュールであって、
前記マイクロ波アンテナと関連する反射力を決定し、
前記反射力に対応する制御曲線に沿って取られた点で微分係数を計算し、
前記微分係数に基づいて、前記焼灼域の近接場内のマイクロ波アンテナおよび組織がそれぞれの定常状態条件に近づいているかどうかを決定する、
ように構成された、焼灼域の制御モジュールと、
を備える、システム。 - 前記焼灼域の制御モジュールが、前記反射力が前記マイクロ波アンテナにより形成された焼灼域の半径に対応する所定の閾値に到達することに応答して信号を生成するようにさらに構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記マイクロ波アンテナが、前記焼灼域を形成するために前記電力源から組織にマイクロ波エネルギーを運搬するように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記焼灼域の制御モジュールが記憶装置を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記記憶装置が、時間とともに変化しかつ前記マイクロ波アンテナと関連する反射力を表す、前記制御曲線に関連するデータを含む少なくとも1つのデータ参照表を含み、前記制御曲線は、前記反射力の値にそれぞれ対応する複数の点を含む、請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 前記マイクロ波アンテナが、球形の焼灼域を生み出すように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記焼灼域に隣接するマイクロ波アンテナおよび組織のうち1つを冷却するために、冷却流体を前記マイクロ波アンテナに供給するように構成された少なくとも1つの流体ポンプ、
をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記微分係数が、前記反射力における上昇または下降を示す、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 測定された反射力と関連する値が、前記微分係数が前記反射力の上昇の最中に取られることに応答して正の値を割り当てられる、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 測定された反射力と関連する値が、前記微分係数が前記反射力の下降の最中に取られることに応答して負の値を割り当てられる、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記反射力の正の値および負の値が、前記焼灼域の近接場内のマイクロ波アンテナおよび組織がそれぞれの定常状態条件に近づいていることを示す、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 前記反射力の正の値および負の値が、前記焼灼域の近接場内のマイクロ波アンテナおよび組織が前記マイクロ波アンテナと前記組織との間のインピーダンス整合に近づいていることを示す、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 焼灼処置を実施するために構成された、電力源に接続するように適合されたマイクロ波アンテナであって、
放射部と、
焼灼域の制御モジュールであって、
前記マイクロ波アンテナと関連する反射力を決定し、
前記反射力に対応する制御曲線に沿って取られた点で微分係数を計算し、
前記微分係数に基づいて、前記焼灼域の近接場内のマイクロ波アンテナおよび組織がそれぞれの定常状態条件に近づいているかどうかを決定する、
ように構成された、焼灼域の制御モジュールと、
を備える、マイクロ波アンテナ。 - 前記放射部が、焼灼域を形成するために電力源から組織にマイクロ波エネルギーを運搬するように構成される、請求項13に記載のマイクロ波アンテナ。
- 前記焼灼域の制御モジュールが、記憶装置内に記憶された少なくとも1つの制御アルゴリズムを含み、前記焼灼域の制御モジュールは、反射力の所定の閾値が前記放射部により形成された焼灼域の半径に対応して測定されるときに信号を引き起こす、請求項14に記載のマイクロ波アンテナ。
- 前記微分係数が前記反射力の上昇を示し、測定された反射力と関連する値が、前記微分係数が前記反射力の上昇の最中に取られることに応答して正の値を割り当てられる、請求項13に記載のマイクロ波アンテナ。
- 前記微分係数が前記反射力の下降を示し、測定された反射力と関連する値が、前記微分係数が前記反射力の下降の最中に取られることに応答して負の値を割り当てられる、請求項16に記載のマイクロ波アンテナ。
- 前記反射力の正の値および負の値が、前記焼灼域の近接場内のマイクロ波アンテナおよび組織がそれぞれの定常状態条件に近づいていることを示す、請求項17に記載のマイクロ波アンテナ。
- 前記反射力の正の値および負の値が、前記焼灼域の近接場内のマイクロ波アンテナおよび組織が前記マイクロ波アンテナと前記組織との間のインピーダンス整合に近づいていることを示す、請求項17に記載のマイクロ波アンテナ。
- 前記放射部が、球形の焼灼域を生み出すように構成される、請求項14に記載のマイクロ波アンテナ。
