Description
【考案の詳細な説明】
〔産業上の利用分野〕
本考案は、後二軸のトラニオン式懸架機構を備
えた後軸ステアリング装置に関する。さらに詳し
くは、トラニオン式懸架機構を構成するロアトル
クロツドに具備され、ステア角に対応して積極的
に支承関係を可変する調整機構を備えた跡軸ステ
アリング装置の改良に関する。

後二軸を有する大型車両では、後軸懸架装置と
してトラニオン式懸架機構（以下、TRと記す）
が組み込まれることが多い。このTRは、第８図
に示すように後前軸FSと後々軸RSとの間に軸線
が平行になるようにトラニオンシヤフトTRSが
配置され、このトラニオンシヤフトTRSと後前
軸FS側、後々軸RS側との間に四本のロアトルク
ロツドLRが回動自在に架設され、後前軸FS側と
後々軸RS側との間に二本のアツパトルクロツド
URが回動自在に架設された構造が一般的であ
る。

URが回動自在に架設された構造が一般的であ
る。
このような構造からなるTRが組み込まれた後
軸懸架装置では、路面抵抗等により、第９図に示
すように前車輪FWのステア角に対し後前軸FSの
ステア角が対応し後々軸RSのステア角が逆転す
るセルフステアリングが奏される。

従来、前記セルフステアリングを円滑且つ積極
的に奏させる技術としては、本出願人の先提案に
係る実開昭60−145456号（実開昭62−52567号参
照）がある。この先提案はロアトルクロツドLR
自体に伸縮構造を具備したもので、油圧制御機構
等によりこの伸縮構造を前車輪FWのステア方向
と対応して伸縮させるものである。なお、油圧制
御機構としては、例えば実開昭59−85780号公報
記載のものが知られている。

また、前記ロアトルクロツドLRの架設機構は、
第１０図に示すようにロアトルクロツドLRの端
部をトラニオンシヤフトTRSに取り付けられた
トラニオンブラケツトまたは後前軸FS、後々軸
RSに取り付けられたアクスルブラケツトに固定
されたピンPSにブシユBUを介して回動自在に枢
支するようになつている。
第１０図に示すようにロアトルクロツドLRの端
部をトラニオンシヤフトTRSに取り付けられた
トラニオンブラケツトまたは後前軸FS、後々軸
RSに取り付けられたアクスルブラケツトに固定
されたピンPSにブシユBUを介して回動自在に枢
支するようになつている。
前述の本出願人に係る先提案は、ロアトルクロ
ツドLRに前車軸FWのステア角に対応して積極
的に支承関係を可変する調整機構を具備するとい
う技術的思想に立脚するものであるが、その具体
的手段としてロアトルクロツドLR自体に伸縮構
造を具備する技術を採用しているため、ロアトル
クロツドLRの強度が損われるという問題があり、
また、第９図に示すステアリング以外の形態のス
テアリングを行なう場合等に走行抵抗の応力に抗
しながら伸縮を行なわなければならず、伸縮のた
めに強大なエネルギーを必要とする問題がある。

的に支承関係を可変する調整機構を具備するとい
う技術的思想に立脚するものであるが、その具体
的手段としてロアトルクロツドLR自体に伸縮構
造を具備する技術を採用しているため、ロアトル
クロツドLRの強度が損われるという問題があり、
また、第９図に示すステアリング以外の形態のス
テアリングを行なう場合等に走行抵抗の応力に抗
しながら伸縮を行なわなければならず、伸縮のた
めに強大なエネルギーを必要とする問題がある。
本考案はこのような問題に鑑みてなされたもの
で、その目的は、前記調整機構をロアトルクロツ
ドの強度を損うことなく具備し、さらに調整機構
の操作エネルギーを低減することにある。

本考案に係る後軸ステアリング装置は、トラニ
オンシヤフトと後前軸及び後々軸間を前・後のロ
アトルクロツドで連結した後二軸トラニオン式懸
架機構を備えた後軸ステアリング装置において、
上記前・後のロアトルクロツドに、前後側で夫々
伸縮が逆になり、かつロアトルクロツドと平行に
左右にそれぞれアクチユエータを設けると共に、
そのアクチユエータに車速と前車輪ステア角に対
応して伸縮制御する制御機構を接続したことを特
徴とするものである。

そのアクチユエータに車速と前車輪ステア角に対
応して伸縮制御する制御機構を接続したことを特
徴とするものである。
本考案に係る後軸ステアリング装置は、ロアト
ルクロツドと別個にアクチユエータを取り付ける
ことにより、ロアトルクロツドの強度が損われる
のを防止すると共に、走行抵抗等の応力をロアト
ルクロツドとアクチユエータとに分散してアクチ
ユエータの操作エネルギーを低減するものであ
る。

以下、本考案に係る後軸ステアリング装置の実
施例を第１図〜第７図に基づいて説明する。

第１図はアクチユエータ１の取付構造を示すも
ので、ロアトルクロツド２の胴部２１に設けた突
起２２にアクチユエータ１の一端部を固定し、ロ
アトルクロツド２の端部２３，２４の一方が枢支
されるピン３にアクチユエータ１の他端部を枢支
してある。前記ピン３は、前述の従来の技術で説
明したようにトラニオンブラケツトまたはアクス
ルブラケツトに固定されたものである。
ので、ロアトルクロツド２の胴部２１に設けた突
起２２にアクチユエータ１の一端部を固定し、ロ
アトルクロツド２の端部２３，２４の一方が枢支
されるピン３にアクチユエータ１の他端部を枢支
してある。前記ピン３は、前述の従来の技術で説
明したようにトラニオンブラケツトまたはアクス
ルブラケツトに固定されたものである。
今、後前軸に取り付けられたアクチユエータを
例にとつて説明するとアクチユエータ１を伸長す
ると、ロアトルクロツド２のトラニオンブラケツ
ト５側の端部２３が前述の従来の技術で説明した
ようにブシユ４を介してピン３に枢支されている
ため、ブシユ４の後ろ半分を圧縮して第２図に示
すように固定側のトラニオンブラケツト５から移
動側のアクスルブラケツト６方向へロアトルクロ
ツド２を押し出すことになる。この押出しは前記
ピン３，３の間隔を離間させ、トラニオンブラケ
ツト５とアクスルブラケツト６との間隔を伸ばす
ことになる。また、アクチユエータ１を逆に操作
すると、トラニオンブラケツト５とアクスルブラ
ケツト６との間隔を縮めることになる。

になる。なお、アクチユエータ１は一個でも充分
であるが、第１図のようにロアトルクロツド２と
平行して一対設けておけば、前記応力の分散が促
進されると共にアクチユエータ１の作動力がロア
トルクロツド２に片掛りするのを防止できる利点
がある。

この制御機構はエンジンＥによつて駆動される
オイルポンプＰをオイル供給源としており、アク
チユエータ１（油圧シリンダ）への供給回路１０
の途中に電磁バルブ２０を設けてある。この電磁
バルブ２０はアクチユエータ１へ正逆双方方向の
オイル供給を切り換えられるようになつており、
電源３０から車速検出スイツチ４０、前車輪ステ
ア角スイツチ５０を有する電気回路６０によつて
切り換えられるものである。車速検出スイツチ４
０は車両の走行速度が中高速でON状態となり低
速でOFF状態となるようになつており、この
ON、OFFで電気回路６０を開閉する。前車輪ス
テア角スイツチ５０はハンドル等と連係してステ
ア角に応動して接点が切り換えられ、電磁バルブ
２０をＡまたはＢ側に切り換える。なお、前記供
給回路１０にはレギユレータバルブ７０を有する
バイパス路が設けられ、流通オイルの圧力調整を
行なつている。
オイルポンプＰをオイル供給源としており、アク
チユエータ１（油圧シリンダ）への供給回路１０
の途中に電磁バルブ２０を設けてある。この電磁
バルブ２０はアクチユエータ１へ正逆双方方向の
オイル供給を切り換えられるようになつており、
電源３０から車速検出スイツチ４０、前車輪ステ
ア角スイツチ５０を有する電気回路６０によつて
切り換えられるものである。車速検出スイツチ４
０は車両の走行速度が中高速でON状態となり低
速でOFF状態となるようになつており、この
ON、OFFで電気回路６０を開閉する。前車輪ス
テア角スイツチ５０はハンドル等と連係してステ
ア角に応動して接点が切り換えられ、電磁バルブ
２０をＡまたはＢ側に切り換える。なお、前記供
給回路１０にはレギユレータバルブ７０を有する
バイパス路が設けられ、流通オイルの圧力調整を
行なつている。
前記制御機構に接続するアクチユエータ１は、
後前軸側のブロツクSA，SBと後々軸側のブロツ
クSC，SDとが対向するように設置され（即ち、
アクチユエータ１のオイル出入口が逆向き）、各
ブロツクがSA，SC，SD，SBの順で直列に配列
されているため、例えば後前軸右側のブロツク
SAが「伸」となると後前軸左側のブロツクSBが
「縮」、後々軸右側のブロツクSCが「縮」、後々軸
左側のブロツクSDが「伸」となり、後軸の左右
側および後軸の後前側で夫々「伸」「縮」が逆と
なるように構成されている。従つて、車両が中高
速で左旋回すると前車輪ステア角スイツチ５０が
左の接点と接続し（図示の状態）、電磁バルブ２
０をＡ側に切り換えて正方向のオイル供給を行な
い、前記ブロツクSA「伸」、SB「縮」、SC「縮」、
SD「伸」として第４図に示すように全ての車輪が
左にステアリングすることになる。また、車両が
中高速で右旋回すると前車輪ステア角スイツチ５
０が右の接点と接続し（図示と逆の状態）、電磁
バルブ２０をＢ側へ切り換えて逆方向のオイル供
給を行ない。前記ブロツクをSA「縮」、SB「伸」、
SC「伸」、SD「縮」として第５図に示すように全
ての車輪が右にステアリングすることになる。こ
のようなステアリングは、第６図（左旋回）、第
７図（右旋回）のような走行モードを奏し、中高
速においては好ましい状態となる。なお、低速に
おいては、アクチユエータ１に対する油圧が解除
されるため、第９図のようなセルフステアリング
が支障なく奏されることになる。
後前軸側のブロツクSA，SBと後々軸側のブロツ
クSC，SDとが対向するように設置され（即ち、
アクチユエータ１のオイル出入口が逆向き）、各
ブロツクがSA，SC，SD，SBの順で直列に配列
されているため、例えば後前軸右側のブロツク
SAが「伸」となると後前軸左側のブロツクSBが
「縮」、後々軸右側のブロツクSCが「縮」、後々軸
左側のブロツクSDが「伸」となり、後軸の左右
側および後軸の後前側で夫々「伸」「縮」が逆と
なるように構成されている。従つて、車両が中高
速で左旋回すると前車輪ステア角スイツチ５０が
左の接点と接続し（図示の状態）、電磁バルブ２
０をＡ側に切り換えて正方向のオイル供給を行な
い、前記ブロツクSA「伸」、SB「縮」、SC「縮」、
SD「伸」として第４図に示すように全ての車輪が
左にステアリングすることになる。また、車両が
中高速で右旋回すると前車輪ステア角スイツチ５
０が右の接点と接続し（図示と逆の状態）、電磁
バルブ２０をＢ側へ切り換えて逆方向のオイル供
給を行ない。前記ブロツクをSA「縮」、SB「伸」、
SC「伸」、SD「縮」として第５図に示すように全
ての車輪が右にステアリングすることになる。こ
のようなステアリングは、第６図（左旋回）、第
７図（右旋回）のような走行モードを奏し、中高
速においては好ましい状態となる。なお、低速に
おいては、アクチユエータ１に対する油圧が解除
されるため、第９図のようなセルフステアリング
が支障なく奏されることになる。
前記制御機構の実施例におけるオイルポンプＰ
は、この制御専用のものでも差し支えないが、適
当な切換弁を介して前車輪のパワーステアリング
のオイルギアボツクスを制御するオイルポンプを
利用することも可能である。また、アクスル周り
には制御用、緩衝用のエア供給回路が設けられて
いるため、アクチユエータ１をエアシリンダとし
てエアによる制御を行なうようにしてもよく、さ
らに電装品の装備の増加している最近の車両で
は、アクチユエータ１をソレノイド制御する構造
とすることも可能である。

置は、TRを構成するロアトルクロツドの強度を
低下させないため、いわゆる強固な足回りが得ら
れ、走行性、旋回性が向上する効果がある。ま
た、調整機構へ掛かる応力が低減されるため、操
作エネルギーが低減される効果がある。

Claims (1)
- トラニオンシヤフトと後前軸及び後々軸間を
前・後のロアトルクロツドで連結した後二軸トラ
ニオン式懸架機構を備えた後軸ステアリング装置
において、上記前・後のロアトルクロツドに、前
後側で夫々伸縮が逆になり、かつロアトルクロツ
ドと平行に左右にそれぞれアクチユエータを設け
ると共に、そのアクチユエータに車速と前車輪ス
テア角に対応して伸縮制御する制御機構を接続し
たことを特徴とする後軸ステアリング装置。
