Description

Claims (9)
- 焼灼を受ける組織の最大の到達可能な温度を監視するためのシステムのコンピュータソフトウェアによる作動方法であって、前記作動方法は、
前記システムが、医師がマイクロ波アンテナを用いて組織の焼灼域を形成することができるように、電力源から前記マイクロ波アンテナにマイクロ波エネルギーを伝達するステップと、
前記システムが、前記組織の焼灼域が前記医師により形成される際に、前記マイクロ波アンテナと関連する複素インピーダンスの虚部を計算するために、前記電力源により生成された前方電力と反射電力との間の位相差を決定するステップと、
前記システムが、前記複素インピーダンスの実部を計算するために、前記前方電力と反射電力との間の大きさの差を決定するステップと、
前記システムが、前記複素インピーダンスの虚部および実部に基づいて、前記複素インピーダンスを計算するステップと、
前記システムが、前記複素インピーダンスが、前記組織の焼灼域の半径に対応する、前記複素インピーダンスの所定の閾値に到達することに応答して、前記マイクロ波アンテナに運搬されるマイクロ波エネルギーの量を調節するように前記電力源に指示するステップと、
前記システムが、前記マイクロ波アンテナが焼灼された組織の近接場にあるときに、前記複素インピーダンスを前記マイクロ波アンテナへのマイクロ波エネルギーの伝達の最中に測定するステップと、
前記システムが、測定された複素インピーダンスの定常状態の複素インピーダンスへの到達に基づいて、前記近接場内にある組織の最大の到達可能な温度を監視するステップと、
を含む、作動方法。 - 前記システムが前記前方電力と反射電力との間の位相差を決定するステップが、前記システムが前記電力源と関連する記憶装置と操作的に連通する焼灼域の制御モジュールを利用するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の作動方法。
- 前記システムが、前記マイクロ波アンテナが前記医師により前記組織の焼灼域に隣接して配置されるときに、前記マイクロ波アンテナの複素インピーダンスを計算するために、前記電力源のマイクロプロセッサを通じて少なくとも1つの制御アルゴリズムを実行するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の作動方法。
- 前記システムが、前記マイクロ波アンテナのインピーダンスの実部および虚部のうち少なくとも一方および焼灼された組織が定常状態条件にあるときに、前記マイクロ波アンテナの複素インピーダンスを計算するために、前記少なくとも1つの制御アルゴリズムを実行するステップをさらに含む、請求項3に記載の作動方法。
- 前記システムが、前記マイクロ波アンテナと関連する少なくとも1つの記憶装置を前記マイクロプロセッサにより呼び出すステップであって、前記少なくとも1つの記憶装置は、前記マイクロ波アンテナに固有のデータと関連する複素インピーダンスを含む少なくとも1つのデータ参照表を含むステップ、をさらに含む、請求項3に記載の作動方法。
- 前記組織の焼灼域が球形および楕円形のうちの少なくとも1つを有する、請求項1に記載の作動方法。
- 前記システムが、前記医師が前記マイクロ波アンテナおよび前記組織の焼灼域に隣接する組織のうちの1つを冷却することができるように、前記マイクロ波アンテナに冷却流体を供給するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の作動方法。
- 前記システムが前記冷却流体を供給するステップが、前記システムが、前記医師が前記マイクロ波アンテナおよび前記組織の焼灼域に隣接する組織のうちの1つに冷却流体を供給することができるように、少なくとも1つの流体ポンプを利用するステップを含む、請求項7に記載の作動方法。
- 前記システムが、前記マイクロ波アンテナの接続器および内部ケーブルのうちの1つと関連する線損失を決定するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の作動方法。
