Abstract
Description
本実施形態に係る燃料供給制御装置は、図1に示す電子制御装置(つまりECU80)により提供される。ECU80は、マイクロコンピュータ(つまりマイコン80a)や、図示しない入力処理回路および出力処理回路等を備える。マイコン80aは、図示しない中央処理装置(つまりCPU)およびメモリ80bを備える。メモリ80bに記憶された所定のプログラムをCPUが実行することで、マイコン80aは、燃焼システムが備える燃料噴射弁15、燃料ポンプ15p、EGRバルブ17a、調温バルブ17d、および過給調圧機器26等の作動を制御する。これらの制御により、燃焼システムが備える内燃機関10での燃焼状態は、所望の状態に制御される。燃焼システムおよびECU80は車両に搭載されたものであり、当該車両は、内燃機関10の出力を駆動源として走行する。
上記第1実施形態では、ステップS14にて潤滑指数Zを算出するにあたり、燃料温度Tfを用いずに、炭素鎖長指数Xおよび極性指数Yに基づき潤滑指数Zを算出する。そして、ステップS15による潤滑指数Zの大小判定とは別に、ステップS16にて保護制御の実行是非を判定する際に燃料温度Tfを用いている。これに対し本実施形態では、図8に示すように、ステップS14の処理をステップS14aに変更するとともに、ステップS16の処理を廃止している。
上記第1実施形態では、混合割合推定部82が、複数の燃焼特性値に基づき各種成分の混合割合を推定している。これに対し本実施形態では、燃料の一般性状をセンサ(つまり性状センサ)で検出し、その検出結果に基づき上記混合割合を推定する。
以上、発明の好ましい実施形態について説明したが、発明は上述した実施形態に何ら制限されることなく、以下に例示するように種々変形して実施することが可能である。各実施形態で具体的に組合せが可能であることを明示している部分同士の組合せばかりではなく、特に組合せに支障が生じなければ、明示してなくとも実施形態同士を部分的に組み合せることも可能である。
Claims (9)
- 内燃機関(10)へ燃料を供給する燃料供給システムに適用される潤滑性推定装置において、
燃料に含まれている複数種類の分子構造の各々の混合割合を推定する混合割合推定部(82)と、
前記燃料供給システムが有する摺動部(S1、S2)の、燃料による潤滑性を表わした潤滑指数を、前記混合割合推定部により推定された混合割合に基づき算出する潤滑指数算出部(88)と、
を備える潤滑性推定装置。 - 前記潤滑指数算出部は、燃料に含まれている複数種類の分子構造の平均炭素数よりも炭素数が多い分子構造の混合割合が多いほど、潤滑性が良いことを表わす値に前記潤滑指数を算出する請求項1に記載の潤滑性推定装置。
- 前記潤滑指数算出部は、前記平均炭素数よりも炭素数が多い分子構造のうち直鎖パラフィン類の分子構造の混合割合を少なくとも用いて、前記潤滑指数を算出する請求項2に記載の潤滑性推定装置。
- 前記潤滑指数算出部は、前記平均炭素数よりも炭素数が少ない分子構造のうち側鎖パラフィン類の分子構造の混合割合を少なくとも用いて、前記潤滑指数を算出する請求項2または3に記載の潤滑性推定装置。
- 前記潤滑指数算出部は、環状の炭素鎖を有する分子構造の混合割合が多いほど、潤滑性が良いことを表わす値に前記潤滑指数を算出する請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載の潤滑性推定装置。
- 前記潤滑指数算出部は、環状の炭素鎖を有する分子構造のうちアロマ類の分子構造の混合割合を少なくとも用いて、前記潤滑指数を算出する請求項5に記載の潤滑性推定装置。
- 前記潤滑指数算出部は、環状の炭素鎖を有する分子構造のうち2つ以上の環状炭素鎖を有する分子構造の混合割合を少なくとも用いて、前記潤滑指数を算出する請求項5または6に記載の潤滑性推定装置。
- 前記潤滑指数算出部は、燃料の温度が低いほど潤滑性が良いことを表わす値に前記潤滑指数を算出する請求項1〜7のいずれか1つに記載の潤滑性推定装置。
- 内燃機関(10)で燃焼させる燃料を噴射する燃料噴射弁(15)、および前記燃料噴射弁へ燃料を圧送する燃料ポンプ(15p)を有する燃料供給システムの作動を制御する、燃料供給制御装置において、
燃料に含まれている複数種類の分子構造の各々の混合割合を推定する混合割合推定部(82)と、
前記燃料供給システムが有する摺動部(S1、S2)の燃料による潤滑性を表わした潤滑指数を、前記混合割合推定部により推定された混合割合に基づき算出する潤滑指数算出部(88)と、
前記潤滑指数算出部により算出された潤滑指数が、所定の閾値を超えて潤滑性が悪い値になっている場合に、前記燃料ポンプの仕事量を低下させるように前記燃料供給システムの作動を制御して前記摺動部を保護する保護制御部(89)と、
を備える燃料供給制御装置。
