Abstract
【解決手段】ECU80(燃料推定装置)は、燃焼特性取得手段81および混合割合推定手段82を備える。燃焼特性取得手段81は、内燃機関10の燃焼に関する物理量を表した燃焼特性値であって、異なる燃焼条件で燃焼した場合の各々の燃焼特性値を取得する。混合割合推定手段82は、燃焼特性取得手段81により取得された複数の燃焼特性値に基づき、燃料に含まれている各種成分の混合割合を推定する。

Description
以上、発明の好ましい実施形態について説明したが、発明は上述した実施形態に何ら制限されることなく、以下に例示するように種々変形して実施することが可能である。各実施形態で具体的に組合せが可能であることを明示している部分同士の組合せばかりではなく、特に組合せに支障が生じなければ、明示してなくとも実施形態同士を部分的に組み合せることも可能である。
Claims (8)
- 内燃機関(10)の燃焼に関する物理量を表した燃焼特性値を取得する手段であって、異なる燃焼条件で燃焼した場合の各々の前記燃焼特性値を取得する燃焼特性取得手段(81)と、
前記燃焼特性取得手段により取得された複数の前記燃焼特性値に基づき、燃料に含まれている各種成分の混合割合を推定する混合割合推定手段(82)と、
を備えることを特徴とする燃料推定装置。 - 前記混合割合の推定対象となる成分は、分子構造の種類の違いにより分類される成分であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料推定装置。
- 前記分子構造の種類には、直鎖パラフィン類、側鎖パラフィン類、ナフテン類および芳香族類の少なくとも1つが含まれていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の燃料推定装置。
- 前記燃焼条件は、複数種類のパラメータの組み合わせにより特定される条件であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載の燃料推定装置。
- 複数種類の前記パラメータには、筒内圧、筒内温度、吸気酸素濃度および燃料噴射圧力の少なくとも1つが含まれていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の燃料推定装置。
- 前記内燃機関は圧縮自着火式であり、
前記燃焼特性値は、前記内燃機関の燃焼室(11a)へ燃料を噴射してから自着火するまでの時間、或いは燃料噴射を指令してから自着火するまでの時間であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1つに記載の燃料推定装置。 - 前記燃焼特性取得手段は、前記内燃機関の1燃焼サイクル中に複数回燃料を噴射する多段噴射を実施するにあたり、最も噴射量が多いメイン噴射の前または後に噴射された燃料の燃焼に関する前記燃焼特性値を取得することを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1つに記載の燃料推定装置。
- 前記内燃機関の運転中に所定条件を満たした場合に、燃料の噴射を一時的に停止させるように指令する燃料カット指令手段(86)と、
前記燃料カット指令手段による指令期間中に、所望の前記燃焼条件で燃焼させて前記燃焼特性値を取得するカット時取得手段(87)と、
を備えることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか1つに記載の燃料推定装置。
