Claims (27)
- リザーバを規定する本体部分と、
前記本体部分に固定的に結合され、前記リザーバに流体連通している複数のキャピラリと、
前記本体部分に結合され、前記リザーバと前記キャピラリとに流体連通しているコネクタと、を備え、
前記本体の少なくとも一部が導電性である、装置。 - 前記本体部分が第1部分及び第2部分を含み、前記第1部分と前記第2部分とがともに前記リザーバを規定し、前記第1部分が前記第2部分に密閉的に結合される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記本体部分が第1部分及び第2部分を含み、前記第2部分が、前記複数のキャピラリに係合するように構成された導電性コンタクトを含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記本体の少なくとも第1部分が導電性プラスチックを含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記コネクタが前記本体部分に電気的に接続されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記キャピラリの半分未満が前記本体部分に接触するように、前記複数のキャピラリの各キャピラリが前記本体部分に固定的に結合される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記リザーバが第1リザーバであり、当該装置が、前記本体部分によって規定される第2リザーバをさらに備え、前記第2リザーバが前記第1リザーバとは物理的に異なる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記リザーバが第1リザーバであり、当該装置が、前記本体部分によって規定される第2リザーバをさらに備え、前記第2リザーバが前記第1リザーバに流体連通している、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 識別子が前記本体部分に結合され、前記識別子が、前記本体部分が中に配置されるように構成されたデバイスと電気的に通信するように構成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記本体部分が、当該装置を、前記本体部分が中に配置されるように構成されたデバイスと位置合わせするように構成された少なくとも1つの位置決め点を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記コネクタが真空源に結合されるように構成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- ハウジングと、
前記ハウジング内に可動的に結合されたキャピラリカートリッジリテーナであって、1つの軸線に沿って動くように構成されたキャピラリカートリッジリテーナと、
前記ハウジング内に可動的に結合され、前記キャピラリカートリッジリテーナの第1側に配置された光源と、
前記ハウジング内に配置された光学検出器であって、第2側前記キャピラリカートリッジリテーナに配置された光学検出器と、
前記ハウジングに可動的に結合された試薬トレイホルダであって、前記キャピラリカートリッジリテーナの前記動作軸線に対し実質的に垂直な方向に動くように構成された試薬トレイホルダと、を備えるシステム。 - 前記光学検出器と前記キャピラリカートリッジリテーナとの間に配置されるように構成されたフィルタをさらに備える、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記キャピラリカートリッジリテーナが、前記キャピラリカートリッジリテーナ内に配置されたキャピラリカートリッジに電気的に接続されるように構成される、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記光学検出器と前記キャピラリカートリッジリテーナとの間の側方距離が実質的に一定である、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 導電性本体部分と、前記本体部分に固定的に結合された複数のキャピラリと、を含むキャピラリカートリッジをさらに備える、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記キャピラリカートリッジリテーナが、前記キャピラリカートリッジを1つの姿勢でのみ受け入れるように構成される、請求項16に記載のシステム。
- 前記カートリッジリテーナに結合された真空源をさらに備え、前記真空源が、前記キャピラリカートリッジリテーナ内に配置されたキャピラリカートリッジに流体的に結合されるように構成される、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記試薬トレイホルダに着脱可能に結合された導電性試薬トレイをさらに備える、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- キャピラリカートリッジを垂直軸線に沿ってハウジング内の第1位置から前記ハウジング内の第2位置へと動かすステップであって、前記キャピラリカートリッジが、導電性本体部分と、前記本体部分に固定的に結合された複数のキャピラリと、を含み、前記第1位置にあるときには、前記キャピラリがウェルプレートの外に配置され、前記第2位置にあるときには、前記キャピラリがウェルプレート内の試料内に配置される、ステップと、
前記試料の少なくとも一部を前記複数のキャピラリ内に引き込むステップと、
前記キャピラリ内の前記試料の前記一部を実質的に固定位置に維持するステップと、
前記試料の前記一部中の分析物を分離するステップと、を含む方法。 - 前記光源の前記第2位置に対向して配置された検出器を使用して前記試料内の分析物を検出するステップをさらに含む、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記ウェルプレートを、前記ウェルプレートの第1部分が前記キャピラリに隣接して配置される第1位置から、前記ウェルプレートの第2部分が前記キャピラリに隣接して配置される第2位置へと動かすステップをさらに含む、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記試料の第1部分を前記キャピラリカートリッジ内に引き込むステップをさらに含み、前記キャピラリカートリッジが、前記試料の少なくとも一部を流体的に隔離するように構成されたリザーバを規定する、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記キャピラリカートリッジから離れて配置される第1位置から、前記キャピラリカートリッジに隣接する第2位置へと光源を移動するステップをさらに含む、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記試料の少なくとも一部を前記複数のキャピラリ内に引き込む前記ステップが、前記キャピラリカートリッジが前記第2位置にあるときに、前記試料の前記一部を動電学的に引き込むステップを含む、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記試料の少なくとも一部を前記複数のキャピラリ内に引き込む前記ステップが、前記キャピラリカートリッジが前記第2位置にあるときに、真空を作動することによって前記試料の前記一部を引き込むステップを含む、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記キャピラリカートリッジを前記真空源から分離するステップと、
前記キャピラリカートリッジを廃棄するステップであって、前記キャピラリカートリッジが前記試料の少なくとも前記一部を前記本体部分内に維持する、ステップと、をさらに含む、請求項20に記載の方法。
