Claims (17)
- リザーバを規定する本体と、
前記本体に結合され、前記リザーバに流体連通しているキャピラリと、
前記本体に結合され、前記リザーバと前記キャピラリとに流体連通しているコネクタと、を備え、
前記リザーバは、液体が前記コネクタを通過することを妨げ、
前記本体の少なくとも一部が導電性である、カートリッジ。 - 前記本体が第1部分及び第2部分を含み、前記第1部分と前記第2部分とがともに前記リザーバを規定し、前記第1部分が前記第2部分に密閉的に結合される、請求項1に記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記本体が第1部分及び第2部分を含み、前記第2部分が、前記キャピラリに係合するように構成された導電性コンタクトを含む、請求項1に記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記本体の少なくとも第1部分が導電性プラスチックを含む、請求項1に記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記コネクタが前記本体に電気的に接続されている、請求項1に記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記キャピラリの半分未満が前記本体に接触するように、前記キャピラリが前記本体に固定的に結合される、請求項1に記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記リザーバが第1リザーバであり、当該カートリッジが、前記本体によって規定される第2リザーバをさらに備え、前記第2リザーバが前記第1リザーバとは物理的に異なる、請求項1に記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記リザーバが第1リザーバであり、当該カートリッジが、前記本体によって規定される第2リザーバをさらに備え、前記第2リザーバが前記第1リザーバに流体連通している、請求項1に記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記コネクタが真空源に結合されるように構成される、請求項1に記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記本体がキャップを含み、
前記キャップが前記コネクタを含み、
前記本体が、前記リザーバ内に延在する突起物を含み、
前記突起物が、導電性であり、かつ、前記リザーバ内の流体レベルが前記突起物に接すると、信号を生成するように構成される、請求項1に記載のカートリッジ。 - 前記キャピラリは、前記本体に結合された複数のキャピラリのうちの1つである、請求項1に記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記リザーバ内に配置された吸水性材料をさらに備え、前記吸水性材料が、前記本体内の液体を安定させるように構成される、請求項1に記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記リザーバ内に配置された吸水性材料をさらに備え、前記吸水性材料が、前記本体内の液体を安定させるように構成され、前記リザーバが廃棄リザーバであり、前記廃棄リザーバ及び前記吸水性材料がともに、前記カートリッジに進入する液体が前記コネクタを介して前記カートリッジから出ることを妨げるように構成される、請求項1に記載のカートリッジ。
- 請求項1に記載のカートリッジを含むシステムであって、インペラを含む真空源をさらに備え、前記インペラは、前記コネクタに空気圧で接続される、システム。
- 請求項1に記載のカートリッジを含むシステムであって、前記本体内の真空を維持して前記キャピラリ内の所定の位置に試料を維持するように構成された真空源をさらに備える、システム。
- 請求項1に記載のカートリッジを含むシステムであって、前記リザーバ内の液体の量の計算に基づいて前記キャピラリ内の所定の位置に試料を維持するために真空を引くように構成された真空源をさらに備える、システム。
- 前記カートリッジが、前記リザーバ内に延在する突起物をさらに備え、前記リザーバ内の液体の量は、前記突起物によって生成される信号に基づいて計算される、請求項16に記載のシステム。
