Abstract
Description
本発明は、量子ドットに結合させるためのアルキル−カルボキシポリマーを提供する。このリガンドは合成が容易であり、複数個のカルボキシ結合用基のせいで量子ドットにより大きい安定性を提供する。
「カルボキシ結合用基」とは、カルボン酸基C(O)OHを指す。
本発明は、量子ドットに結合させるためのアルキル−カルボキシポリマーを提供する。このリガンドは合成が容易であり、複数個のカルボキシ結合用基のせいで量子ドットにより大きい安定性を提供する。
本発明の量子ドット結合用リガンドは、量子ドット(QD)に錯化させることができる。ある実施形態において、本発明は、本発明の量子ドット結合用リガンドと、発光量子ドット(QD)の第1の母集団との組成物を提供する。
一般的に、特性寸法区域は構造の最小軸に沿う。QDは材料特性において実質的に均一か、又は、ある実施形態では、不均一であることもある。QDの光学特性は、それらの粒径、化学又は表面組成によって、及び/又は、従来技術で利用可能な適切な光学的試験によって決定される。ナノ結晶サイズを約1nmから約15nmの範囲に調整する能力によって、全光学スペクトル内の光子放出範囲は演色における大きな多用途性を提供することができる。粒子カプセル化は、化学的及び紫外線劣化剤に対する構造安定性を提供する。
一般的に、高分子リガンドはナノ構造の表面に結合される。しかし、組成中のリガンド材料の全部がナノ構造に結合しなければならないわけではない。高分子リガンドが過剰に供給されることがあり、その結果、リガンドのある分子はナノ構造の表面に結合し、リガンドの他の分子はナノ構造の表面に結合しない。

各R1a、R1b、R2及びR4は独立してH、C1-20アルキル、C1-20ヘテロアルキル、C2-20アルケニル、C2-20アルキニル、シクロアルキル及びアリールより成る群から選択され;
各R3a及びR3bは独立してH及びC1-6アルキルより成る群から選択され;
